Decreasing number of MOCs: affected by criticism?
Good old Lego builder replied to Aventador2004's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
As Lasse mentioned, I also see the topics that get no reactions. Some very nice Mocs. That is not very rewarding to continue posting. I would also like to add that some great mocs ‘disappear’ in the scale modeling forum. Indon’t visit that one frequently since almost nothing happens there. I think Covid also had tomdo with it, for multiple reasons. (Time, money) -

[PRESS RELEASE] 76161 1989 Batwing
Good old Lego builder replied to JintaiZ's topic in LEGO Licensed
I’m an adult. What I mean: the batmobile has steering, the mechanism for the guns, the nicely moving roof. This one..... opening roof? -
[PRESS RELEASE] 76161 1989 Batwing
Good old Lego builder replied to JintaiZ's topic in LEGO Licensed
It does look nice, certainly cool to display on the wall. It doesn’t seem to have many functions, so I’m curious. Looking forward to a review. Is it more than a bat-shaped disc? -

Evolution or involution?
Good old Lego builder replied to astral brick's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Same here. My last set was the Arocs, or the Volvo EW150e, but the same feeling. Most technic sets are pretty much the of something that has been done these days. Where as I really enjoyed builder the 1989 Batmobile, the Saturn rocket or a modular house. The part use in those sets is really intresting and creative. I had the Porsche, but sold it. In the end that was just a car, with suspension a gearbox. Just like the Bugatti, the Landrover and probably the next Lambo..- 54 replies

12V motor
Good old Lego builder posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi all. In my collection I still have an old 12V technic motor. I didn't use it much back in the days, and wondered does it have any use today in a technic creation? Im thinking about making some sort of street sweeper. Could I use the thing for it? (I vagely remember buying the motor, then building an elevator with it. When I used it, the elevator cage was kind of launched into space and the whole thing collapsed. I guess it wasn't geared down properly :-). I was a kid, had no clue.) So now, years later, I wonder if it can actually be used.... Usefull.... If that makes sense.
