Your humanoid builds will always be pure eye-candy for me. This is great! What a fantastic use of some of those pieces. The ice skates, metallic 1x1s, and chrome rings are especially pleasing to see with their uses. Fantastic build! Keep on building, Vitreolum! Your stuff never ceases to impress.

Very impressive road! The dark color palette for sure is very pleasing to me. I definitely also like the use of including ancient folk art. Wonderful build, Elostirion!- 6 replies

[BTV2 - TER] Practice, Practice, Practice!!
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice scene, Blackbird! Those custom yellow jackets look great, and the makeshift setup is very pleasing. It will be interesting to see how far the blueberries get pushed back with these fortifications. -
[ESL] Post Master's House and Office, Otoño
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Yes, yes, and YES ! I couldn't have asked for more, thank you Ayrlego! The settlement of Otoño will certainly appreciate a postal hub. Your landscaping and rustic commerce building style just keep getting better and better. Such an elegant look and surely one of my all-time favorites. The balcony is definitely my favorite aspect. Those vertical 1 x 2 tiles really complete the look of it. I love that you did the roof in black and those olive green accents for the landscaping are just wonderful. This is excellent, what a great read/build! -
[MOC] TriPerron - Nomad Class Explorer
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to Si-MOCs's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
HOLY BEJEEZUS!!! This is sweet! You absolutely aced the color scheme, accents, and shaping. The look, the play features-I can't... this is too much. Seriously, this is excellent. Fantastic job! These are some quality comments right here. You made my day Cerberus, thank you. -
Looking for some of the wackier pirate ship MOCs
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to Corydoras's topic in LEGO Pirates
Good post, Cory! It's always nice to see ships on the wackier and more playful side of lego. @Captain Braunsfeld made a ship called HMS Colourless that might fit that description: I love that ship, very sleek and very playful. Hope you like it, I definitely did! -
[MOC] Cadillac Biarritz Model X 3077 - Civilian Grade Ship
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to The Neighborhood Merchant's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thank you very much @Digger of Bricks! I definitely agree, the colors look very retro and even better in person. I appreciate the compliments! Good hearing from you. -
[MOC] Cadillac Biarritz Model X 3077 - Civilian Grade Ship
The Neighborhood Merchant posted a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Cadillac, still up and kicking in 3077, is producing it's latest model, a way too expensive one-person intergalactic travel ship. Based off the 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz and with a limited run of only five units being built, you'd certainly be looking to put a hit on yourself if you acquire one. 3077 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr IMG_6644 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr IMG_6640 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr IMG_6638 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr Happy Travels! by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr Hope you enjoyed it! I just had to make a ship in dark turquoise. Take care and as always, happy travels, Earthling! -
Love the angles! The back thruster looks very nice. Great build!

The ARC-1 or otherwise known as "Arctic One by the ice planet goers" is fresh off the assembly line and has been proven reliable in its heavy armor and smooth flying capabilities. Instead of it's normal use as a cargo carrier or space police prisoner transport, this particular model has been repainted and is being used by a crew of ice-jewel seeking adventurers that are always on the go. ARC2 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr Minibase 1 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr ARC7 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr ARC5 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr These adventurers spared no expense. Their modifications to the ARC-1 consist of a service robot, a portable refinery, a small survey tower, and a snow-mobile. ARC3 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr The back can open up to store the service robot. ARC10 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr ARC1 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr Due to the added snow-mobile in the storage bay, the cargo has to be held on the back. That must be one strong rope. ARC9 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr The middle cargo bay can easily be released to reveal the snowmobile. [BTV1-OL] A brief pause time
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to Bodi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
You did an excellent job capturing the atmosphere of the war! Love the scene, especially with the teddy bear in the ruins. Really shows how bloody the war is. Fantastic build, Bodi! -
[MOC] LL885- New Coalition Repair Freighter
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to ZCerberus's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Waaaaa ! This is insane! Your ships just keep getting better and better! Love the design, and a repair freighter is a wonderful addition. The color blocking is so good, and the lighting just completes the whole thing. I think I'm in love!- 15 replies

[MOC] Shiptember: Cosmic Cruiser
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to JeffBuilds's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Great build, Jeff! I especially love the maintained curvature and smoothness in the bow to the stern. It looks very home-like inside and I love the airlock. Wonderful ship! -
[MOC] SHIPtember: The M.O.C.H.A.

First ship you've ever built? Wow! It's gorgeous and that color scheme is unique and very eye-catching! I'd love to see more ships from you as you definitely have a very creative mind and would surely come up with some wonderful stuff. Always a pleasure to see your work, great job!- 12 replies

Should people buy Fake Chinese PF motors?
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to Newest_Tech320's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Probably not unless you have proof that they are reliable and last for a while. Plus it will always make you feel better knowing you got the real deal. -
Very cozy and sleek. Nice job!

[MOC] 1670 6-gun barque longue 'La Reine'
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to SteamSewnEmpire's topic in Pirate MOCs
That's a very nice ship, Empire! Great colors, as always, and very nice hull curvature. The only recommendation I'd give is adding some windows to the captain's quarters. Other than that, excellent work! -
[MOC] Tarrasque Starfighter (Classic Space Inspired)
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to Sajuuk's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
There is some really neat parts usage here! Especially like the front of the ship. That's a neat stand too. Great job! I think some of the later classic space sets had front weapons. None the less, you got to always be safe with those nasty blacktron guys flying around! -
[MOC] Space Police Pursuer SPJ-2 / Skull Twin Convict Ship
The Neighborhood Merchant posted a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
After years of being on the run, the skull twins are finally apprehended by the SPJ-2. With their ship downed, the twins fought with all their might to secure their freedom. Blaster lasers pierce the sky and smoke fills the air. The smoke clears, the victor is decided. Out comes... SP by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr The Space Police Pursuers: Or, The Twins: Hope you enjoyed the quick story! Here are some more pics: IMG_6657 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr IMG_6658 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr IMG_6661 by The Neighborhood Merchant, on Flickr The ship can split into two, for multi-pursuit situations, or for the twins to cause more crime if they steal it! [MOC] Space Police Pursuer SPJ-2 / Skull Twin Convict Ship
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to The Neighborhood Merchant's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks, @danth! I completely agree, it can be very difficult at times to make certain builds modular with their dimensions, luckily this one was easy. Sometimes I just sit in stud.io for hours with a brain fart, not being able to think of anything. -
[MOC] Space Police Pursuer SPJ-2 / Skull Twin Convict Ship
The Neighborhood Merchant replied to The Neighborhood Merchant's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Thanks @danth, great to hear from you! The ship was actually originally built for just the twins, but I realized the color scheme matched up exactly with the old space police, so I just had to include them. As for the wings, unfortunately, with the separating feature, I had no extra room for them on the ship, so I just have two spare wings on hand to attach to the studs that normally connect the ship. I suppose for a canon approach you can just believe they expand outward once it disconnects.
