[MOC] [MOD] 71699 Thunder Raider Alternate Build
Ransom Fern replied to Ransom Fern's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Senpai noticed me hahaha! Your original model is incredible Niek. It's the first set in a long time I actually "played" with instead of just build and appreciate :) -

[PRESS RELEASE] LEGO Creator Expert 10272 Old Trafford Manchester United
Ransom Fern replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Licensed
Right?! I completely don’t care about this but maybe, hopefully, this can open doors for similarly niche things if it does well. This feels like it belongs more in the Architecture line. It even has the same all black box. I wonder why it’s under Creator Expert instead. -
Yea, I’ll put it up here when it’s done it’s taking a while. I want to make this one more clear than the last one :)

LEGO Speed Champions 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Ransom Fern replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
These 8 studs cars remind me of the first few years of Speed Champions. Compared to the latest (may final?) 6 stud cars, the first few waves look horrible. I like the proportions of the 8 studs a lot better and I think that they'll get better with the specific details and sculpting the same way they did with the 6 studs cars. And like later waves of 6 stud cars, I can't wait for the designers to go back and do a car they already did in 6 studs to show the potential of 8 studs in the long run. As it is, the sides of those Urus and the GTR looks oddly flat. The hood of the Tributo is a little jagged. The Huracan look like a great Ford GT lol. But the new hood pieces look great and even before better official models, I'm sure the community will go nuts with them. -
Hey guys, I built one with the bricks in the UCS set and the one in 2015. It’s less of a “mod” and more of an “alternate combination” but I thought you guys might still like it :) More photos and instructions: https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/172786-moc-lego-hulkbuster-moc-76031-76105-combination/

Right!? So many weird decisions were made on that set Thanks :) -
[MOC] Lego Hulkbuster MOC 76031 + 76105 Combination

I didn’t have anything in mind in particular, just a generic “hot rod” I guess Thanks! I find it difficult to build without limitations. Almost everything I build are alt models so I don’t think I’ll tackle that Hulk :) -

[MOC] Lego Hulkbuster MOC 76031 + 76105 Combination

The bulk of it took about 2 weeks but i have been tweaking little things for a month and a half after that. You can even see some differences between the one in the instructions (which is newer) and the one in the photos -
That one is nice too but the silhouette of the wings on the one in The Lego Movie is to die for

[MOC] Lego Hulkbuster MOC 76031 + 76105 Combination
Ransom Fern replied to Ransom Fern's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah, there's a modified plate with clips that I used in the torso, the tan jumpers in the Jackhammer arm and the 2x2 grey slopes in the support unit. I think that's all Mostly though, you're going to need a lot of 1 x 1 s -
We need to add this now

Best way to create instructions?
Ransom Fern replied to LegoJalex's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I like break down photos, mostly because they usually show sub assemblies being built separately before attaching onto the main model -

Ransom Fern replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Man if they ever did actual Transformers. Like, just create your own IP Lego, robot turning into vehicles, extra points if it fits minifigs. Actually, just reboot Exo force and have all of the mechs transform. I'm willing to bet it's sell like hot cakes -
Those curves at the back are interesting... the curves around the front wheels are pretty cool

The Cordak blasters are the coolest things in the world. It's sorta been out done by the much more compact stud shooters but I never feel like I can aim reliably with those

Nice, which one is Wayne tower? -
I would very much like a Batwing based on the one in The Lego Movie. Even a scaled down one would be nice
