    Ideas for new City sets

I agree about a lot of police. Im just surprised we haven't seen one yet. What do you think about the other ideas on there?

    When Should City be Cancelled?

Yo! I would be ecstatic if they added spring waves to the winter and summer. Btw, that's what I'm saying. So why not just put them as annual extras under one police theme? Like as in don't separate the police themes based on where the police work. That's frustrating. What about the new turbo wheels collection? 60255 to 60258 were some of the best City sets I've ever seen. As a worker in the auto industry, a subtheme focused solely on the automotive industry was something I've been calling for since the garage subtheme left the damn shelves before it's time. Don't worry Lego. I'm not mad at you anymore for that. Uh....I'll pass.

Serious Play! That must've costed you a fortune.

    When Should City be Cancelled?

Nah! City ain't leaving. So we AFOLs don't have nothing to worry about. I do agree with @MAB however. The idea in general of subthemes should be no more if they really do exist. I also agree with you that we would prefer more adult/realistic buildings. I guess that's why we've got modulars. But if Lego sincerely saw a market for this, and trust me - I believe it could work, allow me to explain. MY CITY!!!!!!! I basically would do a spin off line of sets that are made by the same designers of City sets. Like Creator 3in1 and Creator Expert - comes City 5-12 and My City. City 5-12 would be the same version of City that we see today. "My City" would be targeted to a more teenage audience. It would be much different than 3in1 and would be a step up from regular City and 3in1, but under the modulars. Buildings would be simple, but detailed like the 2019 fire station. This version of the "City" line would focus more on town planning than action - though vehicles would still be involved. It would be like the "My Own Train" line from the mid 2000s only with buildings. We'll still have City, but that'll be for the younger generation. But let's be realistic. That isn't going to happen.

    Working Hopper

Lego City needs to do some standalone train cars for its train line. Guess its kinda the wrong time to ask for an engine shed similar to the one that's from World City.

    What's your favourite modular building?

Corner Garage. I'm a mechanic and I think it looks pretty good.

    When Should City be Cancelled?

@MAB Actually there are subthemes. City's subthemes are similar to the way Creator does its thing: 3in1, Expert and Modular <<< though I think the last one goes into Creator Expert. So for City, we currently have Police, Fire, Great Vehicles, Turbo Wheels and Space. Just to name a few. (I'm going according to what we have as of 2020). Those are subthemes. Subthemes is just a saying that Lego and its fandom uses for the City theme (the theme itself) to organize the jobs that are showcased the most by groups. Standalone buildings, random vehicles, town planning sets and accessories don't get a subtheme and are sent into either Town or Great Vehicles. That's just how I see it. But it's ok if you don't see it that way. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree there.

    When Should City be Cancelled?

Why have them in separate subthemes under City when they can been all under the City Police subtheme? That's also a good question too. But noooooo! They have to be separate subthemes under City with 4 or more sets under the subtheme. They can't just do what they did with the two 2020 fire sets and just throw them out there subtheme free without a headquarters.

    Ideas for new City sets

City Set Ideas So I decided to rename my mini series "City Set Ideas" instead of "City Set Wishlists" as most of these aren't even likely to happen. Bus Barn - The office could be a similar size to the doughnut shop. You'll need a lift to repair buses. Inculudes and blue city bus, a school bus similar to the one from that Friends set and a two story bus similar to the one from 60200. Octan Auto Repair Shop - Yea we got the tuning workshop. I know. Vita Rush Juice Van Police Academy People Pack Shopping District - A mega set idea. Includes a carry out pizza parlor, pet store, post office, convenience store and some vehicles.

    Lego City 60267 Safari Off-Roader

Yeah! It seems as though this year, City is basing some of their vehicles off of real cars like the Ford Mustang and Volkswagen van.

How big is the LEGO community?

Aye! Every morning, instead of bright blue skies, I'll be seeing more crime than you'd see in Lego City.

How big is the LEGO community?

The Lego community is so enormous that if Lego were to become extinct, the end of the world would come very quickly.

LEGO City 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

I would've liked to have seen pictures. But then again, I do understand that Lego may not want to upset its City fans. They already did that with the first version of My City. Some guy fof the company once told me that some of the buildings you could put in your city in the first game were actually cancelled buildings. I could believe that in a way considering that Lego wouldn't just put buildings in a game without make toy versions unless they had to.

I hope one of the people packs that's released this year is a downtown people pack with different works like the one that was released in 2005.
