    Temple of Afe'aa

This is really impressive! I love the amount of detail you put in the decoration of the building.
  2. @W Navarre Thank you very much!
  3. Just for fun (and to decorate my bookshelf), I made my own Discworld Witches Collectible Minifigures. From left to right : - Granny Weatherwax, - Tiffany Aching, - Magrat Garlick, - Agnes Nitt, - Nanny Ogg, - Erzulie Gogol. Don't hesitate to expand the spoiler area to look at the close-ups. C&C welcome! P.S: sorry for Granny being out of focus in the group shop - I I guess she doesn't like to have her picture taken and deliberately stepped out of the focus area! Finding a profession, first try

Great build! Very creative, with nice details and an interesting backstory. I'm looking forward to the next episodes!
  7. @mrcp6d Thank you very much! I'm glad someone noticed the pine cones! @zoth33 Thank you so much for your review!
  8. @Louis of Nutwood Thank you very much! I'm really glad you like the Stone! @Zilmrud Thank you very much! Of course, don't hesitate to involve a mitgardian shrew in your story : I'm sure they would love to raid those supplies... @Grover Thank you so much for this detailed review and the kind words! Of course, I love your idea of a fauna and flora encyclopedia for all the realms. It would be such a fun thing to share! And I have to confess your comment on my english brought a tear to my eye. I'm indeed French, not a native english speaker, and it took me a while to write the text. @Littleworlds Thank you very much! @Faladrin Thank you so much!

    Morty's Traveling Puppetry

Wow, I love this build! The way the scene can be deployed is awesome, and I'm fond of the little black puppet horse (am I right? Is it a horse?)
  11. I really love the idea of this "Landscapes" Community Build, and I just finished a MOC that may fit in there - I'll take photos and post about it this weekend. But as the last update of this thread is from 2015 and the title mentions only Book II, I was wondering if this Community Build is still open. Is it? Edit : glad to hear this Community Build is still open! Here is a contribution : The Standing Stone - Southern foothills of the Heavenly Mountains
  12. I had a similar issue with the order I tried to make this afternoon : the transfer from the B&P basket to the standard LEGO Shop basket failed with a "non expected error" message. I (patiently ) refilled my B&P basket and re-tried a few minutes later, and it worked.

    [Minifigs] Horgaard Inhabitants

@Grover You're most welcome! I'm glad if my minifigs could be of any help. @Ayrlego Thank you very much! I hope you'll like the MOCs I'll make for them. @socalbricks Thank you so much for those kind words! @de Gothia Thank you very much!

    [Minifigs] Horgaard Inhabitants

Thank you very much! The doll is the "Professor McGonagall" nanofig from the 2018 Hogwarts Castle set. The "Professor Dolores Umbridge" nanofig from the same set would have made a cute doll too, but it's definitely too pink for the setting of my village. Thank you so much! I hope you'll like the first build! Concerning the torsos : - The ones of Dagmar and the blacksmith's wife both come from Princess Leia minifigs (this one and this one with dark tan arms) - The one of the blacksmith's daughters comes from the Incredibles "Underminer" minifig, turned backward (it's this one : the back print is not shown on the BrickLink photo, it really was an excellent surprise when I received it!) - The one of the hunter comes from the Wiley Fusebot minifig (this one). I have also extensively used the leg parts of this minifig!

    Duel In The Ruins

Very well done! I love the look of the ruins, and how they have been converted as an outpost by the orcs.

    [Minifigs] Horgaard Inhabitants

Thank you very much! Three of them only will be in my first MOC. But I have many MOC ideas that would involve the others too, I hope I'll be able to build them all! I'm afraid my MOC is going to disappoint you! I'm not an experienced builder and have a very small building space (just a standard desk for both building and storing, actually), so my first MOC will just be a small vignette involving three of the figs. l intend to go on progressively with other vignettes and a few buildings - and then gather them all together if I find enough space. Thank you so much! I hope Arne the minifig will live up to his name!

[MOC] The Ring of the Nibelung

@ArneNielsen, thank you very much! I'm really glad you appreciate Odin - I was really enthusiastic when this minifig head was realeased as it immediately made me think of him. @GhostDog : thank you! It's true it's been a while since I have not seen a movie, serie, or whatever, based on this story...

[MOC] The Ring of the Nibelung

@sander1992 Thank you! It's a great epic story about how cursed gold lead the norse/germanic gods to their demise. Many different versions exist though, with more or less surnatural elements...

    Hello!

Hello, my name is Aurore, and I'm from France. Thanks to my little nieces and nephew, I recently re-discovered how LEGO can fuel one's imagination and creativity. And now as an adult I'm falling again down the rabbit hole to the LEGO Wonderland. As of now I'm falling slowly (just some minifigs and tiny vignettes) - but I'm probably going to fall faster and deeper. So many great MOCs around there to inspire me! I've always been especially fond of the Castle themes, and also of all City sets with a science flair. Looking forward to meet you and your creations on the topics! -Aurore

  22. @soccerkid6 and @Henjin_Quilones, thank you very much for your warm welcome!
  23. I'm rather new to this forum and not exactly an experienced builder, but I find the landscapes and history of Mitgardia inspiring. So I created a sigfig and I'd love to join you! Sigrid Haraldsdottir Titles and profession : advisor and aspiring herbalist Short bio : Sigrid was the youngest daughter of the ruler of Horgaard, a tiny village nested in a secluded valley of the Heavenly Mountains. She spent a peaceful childhood bickering with her siblings and riding in the mountains, while showing an insatiable curiosity about...well, about everything and anything - but especially plants. And rocks. And animals as well. When her father and brothers went to war, Sigrid and her older sister Dagmar were left behind in charge of the village. Years later, none of the men have returned. Dagmar has become the de facto ruler of the village, and Sigrid acts as her advisor. HometownHome-one-horse-village : Horgaard Parts : Hair - Head - Cape - Torso (with white arms) - Skirt (alternate legs when mounted)

[MOC] The Ring of the Nibelung

Thank you very much! I can't claim the idea of the trans red bar though, I'm pretty sure I've seen it somewhere (but I don't remember where).
