Same issue here. I tried both Paypal and credit card checkout, and with different browsers - makes no difference. Something has been improved though : my cart has not been emptied and still contains all the B&P parts I selected.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Aurore replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
It's rather infuriating : B&P is available again here in France and I could at least fill my cart - but like for previous commenters, payment could not be processed... -
@Aine Thank you very much! You're right, such a story would have been nice...

Nice build and nice story! I love the design of the Ulfgang minifigs - they all go very well together and form an harmonious clan.
-
That's really a great scene! The minifig posing and expressions are well chosen, and the building is impressive. I particularly love the roofs!
-
I love the contrast between the bright, exuberant vegetation and the more neutral, austere buildings. Well done!

@Kai NRG Thank you very much! The "flowing water" piece is energy effect part #27393. The end opposite to the handle fits perfectly inside a 1x1 round brick! @Faladrin Thank you for your words of encouragement! @zoth33 Thank you very much! I was unsure about the colorful plants, so I'm glad you like them! @Louis of Nutwood Thank you so much Louis! Your comments are always detailed and very motivating! @Garmadon Thank you very much!

@Zilmrud Thank you very much! Describing plants (and animals, and maybe rocks if I manage to write something geologically relevant) is a lot of fun, I'm really glad you appreciate it! @adde51 Thank you! I had high hopes that the trans-clear power blast would prove useful - it did. @Eoin Wallace Thank you so much for those kind words!

All of those are absolutely great, but the Matching-costume Dad & Baby Kong are just...pure cuteness overload perfection.

The journey of Parzival - The wake up (Chapter I, part I)
Aurore replied to Zilmrud's topic in Guilds of Historica
An interesting story and a very nice road. And gorgeous cacti! -
I think I love everything in this build : - The nanofig-scale is an excellent choice that allows a sufficient level of detail without having a gigantic MOC. - The color palette is nice and harmonious (dark green soil with green vegetation looks especially great, may I borrow the idea?). - The forced perspective is cleverly done. - The idea of building a micro-scale Zamorah before building detailed MOCs of the locations is simply brilliant. It really help us readers to get into your shire!

Book III - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Aurore replied to soccerkid6's topic in Guilds of Historica
@soccerkid6 @mrcp6d Thank you for the answer! I'm so glad it's still open, I definitely love the idea of this Community Build. I updated the question I asked there to submit a build. -
Book III - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Aurore replied to soccerkid6's topic in Guilds of Historica
Hi, I was wondering whether the Landscapes of Mitgardia community build is still open? Or maybe this an older post just for GoH Book II, is there a new one for Book III? -
I'm honoured (and rather nervous) to present you my very first MOC since childhood... As of now I had only built minifigures or modified existing sets. Then I built a Valkyrie minifigure. Gave her a horse (all girls want a pony, right?). Remembered the Nibelungenlied, the legend of Siegfried. Added other characters. Wanted to display them on a shelf and built them a stand. Now here they are... Characters from Wagner's opera "Der Ring des Nibelungen" (Ring of the Nibelung). From left to right : - One of the Rinemaidens, water nymphs and guardians of the Rhinegold, - The Wanderer, aka Wotan, king of the gods, with the two Ravens, - Brünnhilde the Valkyrie, with her horse Grane, - Siegfried, the infamous dragon slayer, - Mime the Nibelung. LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 19 Rumors, Speculation and Discussion
Aurore replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I have to admit that I'm rather enthusiastic about the series. Fair amount of useful elements for my favourite MOC settings, medieval-fantasy and vintage explorers, even if there are few minifigs directly related to those themes. For medieval-fantasy : - I'm not really into ghosts or gloomy moods, but following @Brother From Another Brick's review of the the Ghost Knight (thank you very much!), I'll definitely get at least one - if only for that gorgeous chainmail printed torso! - The Monkey King seems to feature beautifully printed elements as well. I'm eagerly waiting for high-res pictures and/or detailed reviews, but a priori those elements would be great for an elvish setting of some sort. - I don't really care for the Dog Sitter herself, but a medieval village never has too many dogs! The tan bulldog from CMF 17 is my favourite LEGO dog, I'm really glad to see a recolor (the new one's expression looks less cute though). The poop element could be easily reused as well. The green shovel too, maybe even misused to build some sort of vegetation. - Fox Girl is cute as a button even if she doesn't really fit in a medieval setting. But her sack and recolored chicken (it's tan, isnt' it?) definitely fit in and will be very welcome in my village. For vintage explorers: - Of course, I'll definitely get a handful of Johnny Thunders. I'm more into fleshies and the torso doesn't seem to feature any yellow skin, which is not the case with older torsoes from this theme. I'm wondering whether it has back print. The dual-molded legs and the backpack look very versatile. And that chameleon...is simply one of the cutest animals ever! - The elements from the Monkey King that would not fit in a medieval-fantasy MOC would definitely fit in a vintage jungle one. - Just like Dog Sitter, Flamingo Lady herself is of no interest to me. But her accessories do : those three-leaf stems are very useful for landscaping (and this one seems to be normal green), and the flamingo could be a fun colorful addition to a vintage, cartoonish tropical setting. -
Great scene! I love how each minifig is different, and I'm really impressed by the landscaping : the colour palette looks perfect for the setting, and that rockwork...is just gorgeous. Good luck to the lonely Guardian.
