I’m interested in seeing the hip hop girl without the speakers and hairpiece blocking it. Seems like a detailed minifigure and hope there’s back printing. Additionally, is there a list of every figure we know has an alternate face? -
Nice! The female rangers were pink, white, or yellow but I’d be happy to see you do Cyan too. Guess time will tell until Series S.

The males in series 20 are brick guy, keytar rocker, drone flyer, viking warrior, red ranger, nunchuck fighter, piñata boy, and knight. I’d say a female Ranger would be great to see.

To be fair 19/20 is starting to become a big number which may turn buyers away. But this is the least important thing really, in my mind I’ll still know the numbers and it’s the actual minifigures that are more important. -

Seeing the box image makes me happy this series is colorful. -

I think I’m in the minority but I actually really like this series, it’s better than series 19 at least. The keytar is my favorite but that’s because I’m a musician, and the rest of the figures I’m not disappointed in. The price is still a bummer but otherwise I’m pleased with this lineup. I guess as somebody who doesn’t do castle, the Viking knight and pirate are acceptable to me. The city minifigure I welcome, and the rest I like except for the costumes. -

I second that, I miss it when the cmfs did seasonal figures more often. I would love to see some not-so-well-known holidays be represented. -

There’s a special case though for the costumes... popular and funny for 2 seconds but then useless for basically every purpose after that. For my projects I almost always use a couple costumes that are my favorite, and that’s if I need one at all. Personal preference aside, the costumes are mainly in their for the target audience of lego, more casual, and I respect that, but a pea pod and llama are starting to get very specific and weird, and at this point it would be better for almost everyone to have better minifigures in their place. -

I think this was the experience for most people. The disorganization of the boxes and the association with scalpers was probably seen as a negative factor for Lego, and may be contribute to why there’s no mr. gold this series. -

I missed out on the guessing game, but I am strangely excited for the synthesizer player. I’m a fan of 80s keyboards and I’m guessing the fig is very colorful. I also can’t wait for the piñata boy, Viking, pirate, and marine biologist. -

I think it’s a safe bet, or at the very a different color like in Series 18 costume party. -

I agree, they were always a joy to read through and I learned quite a bit about the minifigures before even buying them. -
I completely forgot about that figure @Robert8 have you considered adding the festive mariachi and any other special minifigures to the home page?

I haven’t seen the image, but could the torso not be for this minifigure? Like the series 6 leaks when some were mismatched form other figures in the series? -
My favorite is still series K

Centaurs? I’ll take 20. -
Great series Robert! My favorites are Cupid, Monster Bride, and Retro Wrestler! But really, I am part of the crowd that has wanted a centaur minifigure since the dawn of time, so that minifigure is easily one of the best you've ever made. Even the hairpiece and distribution are good My only critique is that many figures this time are very specific, like from stories. In the future, will there be more generic unnamed characters, or will they continue to be referencing something?

I’d be down if the re-made figures were new archetypes rather than being direct copies upgraded. -
Cupid! I’ve wanted to see a minifigure like that for a while. The others look cool so far too.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Costume party 2.0, I can feel it... but in all reality they all seem spring-related so it could be a spring promo or maybe build-a-minifigure exclusive like the pink elephant. -
It hasn’t been as long this time because the whole series reveal was on the 24th rather than the first. looking forward as always!

I love this Advent Calender Robert8! Thank you for continuing to share your minifigure drawings. Every morning I looked forward to seeing them, and I think it actually helped make me more excited for the holidays. My favorites were Krampus (duh) but also the Confectioner, Santa Girl, Tin Soldier, and Caroling Girl. That would be absolutely adorable! Great idea. Last but not least, Merry Christmas Eurobricks!

Another nice one! Looking forward to tomorrow, it’s always a joy to see the full series together.

@Robert8’s series have proven that it certainly would have been possible, but it’s the question of what lego decides to do as what they consider to be the best. I bet forty series could made off of unique ideas, but if lego needs to have a couple costumes to keep it running I’ll accept it.
