Classic-Pirates.com Social Media Strategy - Which Social Platforms Do You Use?
Jack Sassy replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
The very same, though it seems that the song was originally sung in 74' by The Persuaders. -
True enough. I do hope we get some builds apart from vehicles. They're nice, just I might have a bit too many of them.

Classic-Pirates.com Social Media Strategy - Which Social Platforms Do You Use?
Jack Sassy replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Well, as the old song goes - ''Some Guys Have All the Luck'' (Alright, it's not as old but was sung a fair time ago). I am intrigued by the site's name though. -
You could try building her from BL orders, no? I think that there weren't any exclusives to the set, though piecing it together through orders isn't as fun as building a sealed set...

What, how, when and why?? At this point I have more questions than answersss!! -
Great review as always. Have to agree about animals and Honeydukes windows, I think that a chocolate frog could've fit perfectly in Honeydukes. Probably gonna get this one at some point. Would be interesting to see your review of 76395.

Well, I'm affraid that Lego is going to do same with next POTC movie as they did with DMTNT. Also my concern is regarding Indiana Jones 5 movies sets but that's a topic for another sub-forum.

Sure, it doesn't look accurate from outside at all, but with 2018-2020 builds combined, I feel that kids are gonna have a blast playing with this. If anything, this is the best doll house I've ever seen.

I kinda wish that it was a accepted as normal as anything else. Also, I'm not saying that Lego should accept discrimination towards LGBT, I think they have supported various events on social media. Lego has been keeping their cool and well at this point I'm starting to really go off topic and losing my own point alongside with me mind. What I'm saying is - in my opinion Lego shouldn't make sets that could bring arguments amongst community, due to their beliefs or views on the matter. Opinions are opinions and nothing of this should be taken seriously at any point. I belive in equality just like anyone else, topic such as this is pretty much same as discussion about religious toys.

I'm just saying that it would be best for Lego to be on a neutral and all appealing line.

If I remember correctly, they are releasing this set on June to coincide with Pride month. Also I think the name was meant to represent equality. I do agree with your points about the colours and surely this is a fine way to start a monochrome collection. I might've exaggerated my comment earlier, though I stand by my point. At the end of the day it's such a little thing to worry about.

Truly a masterpiece in the making and far more than that. This inspires me to make a castle diorama in the future... Amazing job!

So I wanted to take time to talk about this new set. Now don't get me wrong - I repect everyone and everything, no matter what they are, it's just that when you think about it, kids are innocent and don't know anything about the way world works, so should Lego really make Pride-themed sets? From one point it is good that they show support but from other point comes my question. I think it might be better if Lego stays neutral and makes sets that are meant for literally everyone, as always.

Indeed there is a problem with the link but I got to the picture eventually. Quite a stunning one I might say. And the way light has been used to illuminate the dark room looks amazing. Good job!

So why is Maui attempting suicide by falling into shark infested waters? Also it seems that they have some problematic climate change on this planet...thing. And say what you will but I love Justice Magician series. They're so good! All those movies and books and prequels. My only complaint is that Lego has decided to copy it by making some Harry Potter series which is clearly a knock-off.

[MOC] Johnny Thunder, friends and foes and a new car
Jack Sassy replied to the Inventor's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ah, another Adventurers MOC. Jolly good builds. It's funny seeing Baron Von Barron dressed as a Scotsman while, I believe he was German (I might be wrong). -
Lovely build. Would really like to see how she turns out in the end.

DC Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
Jack Sassy replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
We all have our own opinions, friend. I understand your point and clearly you have more love for this theme than I do. At the end of the day, Lego will do what they think is best to please us, the fans. -
Thank you! This'll take some time, just like any adventure.

You'll be pleased to know that I begun working on the MOC today (I just couldn't resist really), though I'm going to go bit of a different road - hull is going to be brick built (I'm not ready to spend 100 euros on 6 casual hull pieces and those two bows) so surely it's going to take me some time to build a vessel for my three Jacks (as they are already threatening me to take away my Lego bottle collection, dearest thing I have). I might end up posting finished product on Pirate MOCs, though I might get some influence from other designs... Don't worry, you didn't pay the worst price to have the Pearl, remember what Jack did to get her out of the depths of the sea.

Might be a demo. -
Well, this seems like something I would do during my freetime. Really well made bunny and surely sturdy enough for world conquer. Good job.

DC Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
Jack Sassy replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah, well lack of sets is another reason to get a break, I mean the kind of break that it had between 2008 and 2012 (not entirely required to have such a long break though). -
10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery [VIDEO REVIEW]
Jack Sassy replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Great review. I do agree about the box design looking too plain, they looked somehow good for Architecture but for sets like this one, Medieval Blacksmith and Winnie the Pooh it looks bad. Think they should return to casual design. As for the instructions, I saw an article which said that they might ditch black coloured pages in some time. One more thing, I do disagree about soviet rockets, doubt I would like seeing Lego sets with the red star and all that, it's just that I hold a certain grudge on the Union itself but let's not get into details.
