Indeed! I must say, this MOC is really lovely, it's good to appreciate the smaller things on this forum and this one is just amazing, especially the cave underneath it all. Good job!

Adventure Supplies: Parts from other themes for Adventurers!
Jack Sassy replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Unless they are included in more sets, then yes, they will be expensive. Best suggestion is to keep looking on B&P for them, if Kevin's torso is there, then others have to show up soon too. I would like to think that there could be some use for Penguin's torso from next year in some Adventure. To me, it looks more like a torso for Carlito's Way but I also see it as a good oligarch villain torso too: (Speaking of which, have we ever got Al Pacino in Lego form?)- 122 replies

These are quite something, never seen anything like it. If I understand correctly, Lego stopped making them in 1993.

Displaying Larger Sets in a Small Space?
Jack Sassy replied to shadefoundry's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I managed to get quite a few bigger sets displayed in my small old room. I decided to build a city, made jungle, sea and the city itself. Most of the buildings in the city are from actual sets (some are Hogwarts parts) and jungle consists of a lot of trees from sets, in the sea I built two custom islands from Barracuda Bay set (my latest addition to the city scene) and added the Barracuda herself in there. If we were to talk Creator Expert cars then that's a long shot, I don't have any advice on that subject unless simply not buying them, they are cool as display pieces but present no actual value in such a city scene as mine or anyone elses. Hope this helps! -
What's the average age people grow out of LEGO?
Jack Sassy replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Not much of a kid at that time anymore but I entered a brief dark age from 2017 to 2018, sure, I did buy some sets between but had absolutely no idea what was going on in the community and what new sets were released. There is one thing I noticed, some friends I went to school with back in the day stopped playing with Lego around age of 10 if I remember correctly. Oh yes, that time was quite dark indeed, some people laughed at me because I hadn't let go of the hobby. -
Well, this went way off-topic, I am really sorry everyone. I guess I am to be blamed in this too, though I tried to keep it in its borders. Anyway, I think I've got all the answers I needed to my questions, if anyone else has some good versions for my original question, I'd be glad to hear it.

Adventure Supplies: Parts from other themes for Adventurers!
Jack Sassy replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Anything goes? Not really but remins me quite a bit of that musical performance in Club Obi Wan. That reminds me of that book cover I really like, I believe it's from the Modular Bookshop, Moby Brick novel: Completely forgot, the torso that's used for Obadiah Stane (earlier for those two Disney characters I forgot names for) is really something to consider using for Adventurers:- 122 replies

Tried it in an interesting way, though it doesn't open in the site, it opens the picture in new tab. Copy the image here, then highlight it and in the ''link'' section add its address.- 122 replies

You mean so the picture opens the site it came from? Well, I just right clicked on the picture and copied image address (or something along the lines) and then pasted the link in here, it automatically sets it as a picture.- 122 replies

Indeed. I always have thought that concept of giving someone to keep your money so they can take a little bit from it every month as a fee for keeping it is rather daft. We can't do much to change it, though.

Hogwarts Castle MOC, Harry Potter (Work in Progress)
Jack Sassy replied to Uniqueorn's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks! I am close to getting back on track. And keep doing what you do, I really enjoy this MOC of yours. -
I don't see how it could be risky, this way I don't have to pay any fees. Perhaps I'm a bit uneducated on that subject or maybe even old-fashioned but I prefer shopping on BL the way that's best for me. This subject is definitely off-topic from my original question, like @Clone OPatra said, it has got nothing to do with this thread.

Yer welcome! At the moment I only have one 6x12 rubber raft in dark bluish grey so that's that. I would say that I much prefer rowboat over these rubber rafts - it has more space and can be usable for both modern and historic settings. Still, rubber rafts are good, if anything then you can use a yellow one to recreate that one scene from Temple of Doom.- 122 replies

I believe there was an older version for this boat in colours like dark bluish grey, but then again, that one couldn't fit the big crate (I'm not really sure if they both are similar in size).- 122 replies

An hourglass!? In Lego!? How come I didn't know it even exists? Now that I know it exists, why didn't they include it in the Astronomy Tower instead of that sticker on 1x2x2 brick? Anyway, I really like the Ice Fisherman figure from CMF Series 5, I think his outfit could be used for Johnny and his band, whenever they might be somewhere cold (at least would look more realistic than their Mount Everest clothes ): Once the snow comes around in my region, I might take a few pictures with Johnny and Doc in these outfits outside.- 122 replies

Well I'm rather unlucky because where I live, they closed the last physical Lego shop I think in 2016 or 2017. So I'm happy to have started buying individual bricks from BL, sure , the website isn't perfect but it's the best place where to buy bricks. If I wouldn't be using BL, then I would've never been able to do so many big projects I had. I've never used Amazon, besides, it's with Dollars (that would mean I have to always crack my head to find out how much that price will be in Euros), there is, of course a German Amazon but I'm not such a big fan of buying there, I find Amazon bit less reliable. Also, I don't have a PayPal account, but maybe I should get one.

[MOD/MOC] 7075 Captain Redbeard's Pirate Ship
Jack Sassy replied to mschreiber's topic in Pirate MOCs
A good version of 4+ model! This is really how the original ship should've looked like, it's definitely not bad for a first MOC on here, good job! Though I feel this post would really benefit from larger images, like the ones in the Imgur folder. -
Hogwarts Castle MOC, Harry Potter (Work in Progress)
Jack Sassy replied to Uniqueorn's topic in LEGO Licensed
Pretty much ideology of the whole life. The latest project I've been working on is stuck in one place for the past 2 months due to some unexpected things in my life. -
Then I'm lucky to be only a BrickLink buyer.

Love that entrance, a while back I was attempting to do a digital design for a local church in Riga and honestly, that front door portal that you have made looks so much better than what I came up with. Good job so far! -
Well, we can't possibly sell on Eurobricks (unless we were to count Sell & Trade forum) but I'm not saying that Lego is more popular in Netherlands than other countries, I'm just saying that there is a whole lot of fans on internet coming from this country. There's a lot of active fans in Lego forums from UK. Sure, we can count stores from China and Japan but there's not that many to go on with. Now, I'm not an expert regarding Lego popularity specifically in these two countries, but from what I've heard, apparently knock-off brands are more popular in China, again, I'm not sure whether this information is 100% true so feel free to correct me on that subject. My point is (though earlier I said that I'm not making any points) that I'm surprised by the sheer amount of Lego stores on BL and users on EB from Netherlands, so that was a question that I was looking for an answer. I find BrickLink to be very reliable in this regard, it's an official worldwide Lego store owned by The Lego Group and it's statistics seem reliable to me. If you have more reliable sources, I would be pleased if you were to present them to me.

I'm lucky that all my orders so far have arrived to my doorstep. I found PostNL to be a reliable delivery service (far more better than DHL, also less expensive), though sometimes it may take a bit longer for them to send some orders.

There are plenty options for building such towns, you could use only modern pieces or dive more into classic stuff. Some pieces that might help: Big Ugly Rock Piece (BURP) 32x32 tan baseplate (There are multiple raised baseplates you can use, but I suggest you explore them.) 1x4 brick with log profile (Also paired with 1x2 of the same type.) 2x6x6 log wall panel 6x8 slope (Very good for roofs.) 2x2x4 bush These are just starters so there are couple more pieces, hope this helps.
