Am I the only one who thinks baby Voldemort looks kind of pathetic? Like I know we shouldn’t expect too much but Idk the crosshatching on the “cloth” really rubs me the wrong way/ makes it look kind of like a blackened loaf of bread or something lol

Has anyone ever used thehut.com to purchase sets? They have all the new HP wave on their site with US delivery but I’ve seen some bad reviews so just wondering if anyone here has used it?

Euros are not equivalent to dollars, our economies are literally different. No offense but do you not understand how currency value works? I actually had a very similar problem with the little branches on the Whomping Willow set, they kept falling off at first. I remember thinking it was so odd that LEGO would make such a difficult build

I just dk why Lego acts like they cant splurge a little bit on their budget and just charge a little more for sets. They’re a huge corporation. Its not like its us at home making bootleg versions of sets lol. Don’t get me wrong, I love the new waves so much and I’m very grateful for what we did get but (just being nitpicky) wouldn’t they rather just give us Krum and Fleur done right in all the sets and Fang at all, even if we complain a little bit about pricing, rather than to give us a half-assed goblet of fire and pensieve along w the other noticeable places they skimped?

So the biggest things we’re still waiting for with the current wave are Baby Voldemort, and whether Flitwick is a new minifigure or not? (Along w any other surprises that may come w the advent calendar) also, didnt someone mention on here a while back that the Clock tower was supposed to come w Gillyweed? I wonder what happened to that

Tonks + the rest of what we’ll be getting from OOTP make me so excited for the next wave. Its funny, everything we’ve gotten so far has been brilliant but we’ve never gotten more than 10 sets TOTAL (probably less) from the second half of the movies. So the wait for the next set of leaks is bound to be literally excruciating considering how hyped its going to be.

Thank youuuu, we’re called ADULT Fans of Lego for a reason lol. We’re obviously all passionate here, no need for certain users to get a superiority complex... anywayssss Fingers crossed! Only thing is if we really were getting them June 1 stores would most likely already have the sets in stock, in which case employees wouldn’t be saying they “have the same information we do” unless they’re playing coy.... we’ll see!

I’m sorry, I want it to be true as well but I’ve talked to multiple lego store employees at multiple locations, target employees at multiple locations, and Lego customer service themselves. Its not coming in June The new Bellatrix is probably going to be EPIC

Anyways, has anyone thought about how exciting yet also unexpected it is that we’ve already gotten Umbridge and Slughorn (of all people?) in this wave, and yet no Ginny Weasley yet? Oh and Olympe Maxime as well! It really makes you wonder what they’re focusing on with minifig selection this time around... Babe, you’ve cursed at me, called me a “yank”, and been completely unwelcoming to me, a new member of this forum. So um yea I’d rather be “patronising” than rude anyday

I have actually confirmed from Lego themselves and Target that they are NOT coming June 1 in the US. They said they would’ve had them in stock by now and they dont. Sweetie you didnt hurt my feelings, trust. You obviously have a huge ego though and get defensive over every little thing, believe me I’ve been reading for the past few months and seen. You need to learn to play nice and realize that just bc YOU don’t want to hear something discussed doesnt mean it shouldnt be discussed. This is eurobricks, not RandomBlocker Boards

Aww well you’re not in charge of other people’s emotions and you’re not a moderator of this forum so thanks for your opinion but if you don’t like my post feel free to skip it over. This is a DISCUSSION forum so I’m DISCUSSING my thoughts on this release.

My thing is that first and foremost, with LEGO releasing statements on how they understand how unfair and bothersome regional RELEASES are why wouldnt they do away with regional RELEASE DATES also?? I’m not saying its only unfair for the US in this case. Im saying its unfair for any country to be excluded from buying while the rest of the world gets to enjoy. The US getting sets ONE month in advance last year doesnt mean we deserve to get them TWO months behind this year. Why should we get punished for lego’s terrible marketing tactics. Also, to your point about it not being a three months wait, we still dont have an official release for the US. I’ve been asking at my local lego stores and some even have said September it could be released. We dont know when in August, it could very well be August 31st, which would mean we’d be getting HP sets a quarter of the year after everyone else

Harry Potter 2019 - Rumors and discussion

Hi everyone! Just created an account but I've been following this topic since the bitter leak-less months and enjoying the discussion. However, I finally decided I HAD to create an account over this nonsense with the US release date being a full TWO MONTHS behind the rest of the world's release date. I have been tweeting and calling Lego customer service (and I suggest any US buyers on here do the same) nonstop because I think it is such an insult to exclude an entire country from purchasing an entire wave of coveted HP sets for almost a quarter of a year (some people have already received their sets at the end of May, and depending on WHEN in August they release [we still don't even have a release date] it could be a full three months from now if they choose to release at the end of August). All of this to say, I was wondering if anyone knew of any reliable way to purchase from overseas without $50+ shipping fees, and also if anyone knows the DPCI or UPC numbers for the new sets so we US AFOL can continue to check for set availability. Thanks!
