Welp, glad that’s all cleared up now. I was seriously worried there that maybe they really were coming out in August instead

I actually subjected myself to laying down on lego bricks at a LEGOLAND Discovery Center several years ago. Mostly for the photo op though, it looked like I was in bliss but my back was screaming

Oh no, I misspoke, I meant to say that my excitement and antsy-ness was getting ridiculous. I know this is usually how things go, I’m just getting a little impatient, but the pictures will come out when they come out, and the world’s not gonna end before they do

Images for one of the Monkie Kid sets just dropped, I was already antsy before but this is otterly ridiculous. Really hope pictures come out today

Is it possible that since the figure appears to be laying down on a white background that whoever took the picture just put the skirt piece on backwards so she would lay flat? So there could still be printing on the front but we’re only seeing the back of the piece

What about Harry Potter? Those first sets came out the same year as the first movie, unless you want to count the inception of the franchise as when the books started publishing, though I’m quite confused by the metrics at play here.

Personally I’ve never really had a problem with stickers or chipping and cracking over time—I have stickers from sets from over 10 years ago and they still look perfectly fine. I’ve heard all the concerns and criticisms about this set but it really hasn’t deterred me from still wanting it. I always wanted the 2009 set and it was a shame I never got it as it’s possibly my favorite ship in Star Wars. This appears to be an update in more ways than one, and I’d be thrilled to pick it up and build it, despite any cockpit stickers or interior space. I actually like having interior space just to put figures in when I’m not using them. But the set is a definite win for me, as a recent AFOL.

To me this ship looks part X-wing, part U-wing, and part podracer with those enormous engines XD. With that all in mind, I think I like it! Great job!

Weird that they also preface Spider-Man and Batman with LEGO while none of the other themes in the list get that treatment

I’m hesitant to add anything to the “Is Harry in the tent or not” discussion, but after looking through a bunch of images from the film and just the costume on display, it appears that both the inner (tent) jacket and the outer (arena) jacket have hoodies, and the inner jacket’s hoodie has red lining inside it, so that would explain the red V on the minifigure’s torso. Looking back and forth between the leaked image and the costume, I really believe that red inner jacket lining is what the designers were going for.

If you’re referring to Fleur with the dark blue legs, I’m pretty sure those are standard-size legs

Poe’s definitely one of the better options, what about Kili’s head from The Hobbit?

Been following the lego Harry Potter discussion since last year, finally got an account so I can actually interact with the chat. If a fully grown Voldemort was hypothetically in a supposed graveyard set, couldn’t they just give him regular legs so the CMF version is still exclusive?
