Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion
Holden Brickfield replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Whilst I don’t think that’s too terribly likely, what I think is a little more possible to happen would be if they had builds similar to the Horntail in the D2C castle, and put those in this year’s advent calendar, one day for each of the dragons. I can just as easily see that as not happening though, if they only want to have builds themed specifically for the Yule Ball -

Ah, sorry, my bad, my tree build comment wasn’t referring to the Willow—if you go back and look at the scene in question, while they are near the Shrieking Shack, they are indeed in a forested area, that’s what I was referring to -

Hah, fair enough, OP did only ask for forest scenes in general, so I’d say it still fits in those parameters. After all, tree builds (which the hypothetical set would most certainly have) are still tree builds no matter what forest they belong to -

They could always do a remake of 4750 (Draco’s Encounter with Buckbeak) or do another one for the snowball fight from the same movie, though I’m not sure if that second one was actually in the Forbidden Forest. The first would certainly be a cheaper way to get Buckbeak which I’m more than welcome to -

My Burrow came in this morning and I just absolutely adore it. Love the colors and the size and the overall accuracy to source material. What I’d probably criticize is the pink wall in Ginny’s room (she doesn’t really strike me as the kind of character who would go with that), and the minifigures, but that’s been discussed here multiple times. I did, however, have a Qi’ra minifigure from one of the Solo sets on hand, so I could switch out Tonks’ hairpiece, to something far more accurate IMO -

I got mine from brickshop.eu, along with some other Americans here that have gotten the new sets -

I went with DHL Express, and as an update for my order, bought it late last Tuesday, and I think it should be here tomorrow, so not too long for shipping -

Oh yeah, probably nostalgia too, forgot to mention that -

Maybe it’s just because I only have the Whomping Willow set on hand to look at, and don’t often look at pictures of the other expansions, but I haven’t really minded the sand green elements in the Astronomy Tower; to me it just adds some nice variety, but I can understand why others find it a little jarring -

Nope, ordered it a couple nights ago and just got an estimated delivery date of the 17th. Kinda hoping it would be sooner but ah well, that’s what I get for ordering from Europe -

Man, I really am glad LEGO brought this theme back. I’ve certainly got nostalgia for the old line, but the sets we’ve gotten in the last three years have been pretty awesome. I truly believe it’s one of the best themes LEGO’s ever done. Also, cool display! -

Well, just ordered the Burrow from Brickshop.eu, and I’m really really excited to finally get my hands on it. Thank you so much to whoever mentioned the site on here and for sharing your guys’ experiences -

I’m also from the US and considering biting the bullet and ordering from Brickshop.eu. I’ve never ordered anything internationally before, so (forgive me if this is way off topic) but how would you go about paying in euros with, say, a PayPal account? -

Thanks for the heads-up! Got it ordered, so hopefully it shouldn’t take too long before getting here. It’s not much consolation living in the states but it’ll hold me off for a little bit as I wait for everything else to release here -

I thought so too! Good thing I got that Solo Landspeeder set way back when so it’ll be a quick switch when I get the Burrow -

Pretty sure it’s the small mechanical Santa that flies around Grimmauld Place at Christmas in OotP -

This is kinda a mashup of order of importance as it concerns to potentially buying, but also just what I think of the sets outside of the buying context: 1. Attack on the Burrow (I’ve not been able to stop drooling and gushing about this set since the pictures dropped) 2. Astronomy Tower (probably won’t be able to buy this one but I think it’s got one of the most interesting builds out of the Hogwarts sets for this reboot) 3. Hedwig (I like this one! I see myself putting it on my desk and making her wings flap every so often, it’s just a really fun display piece) 4. Room of Requirement (what’s included is great for $20, but that’s not too surprising given how great this line’s $20 sets have been) 5. Privet Drive (have the original version and the WW, so I already have a fair chunk of what this set has to offer, so I won’t be picking it up, but it’s still quite nice looking) 6. Forbidden Forest (Grawp was done well, and I like the centaurs and the other minifigures, but this one doesn’t interest me a whole lot) With that all being said, I would be happy to have any of these. Gosh this line is so great, I’m so glad they brought it back -

I’m probably overthinking this, but I’m debating whether to preorder the Burrow set from LEGO (thereby waiting until August for the set) or wait to see if Target’s gonna release the sets in July. Any idea when the Target product listings will show up? -

I spotted the first two, but can’t seem to find the WWW poster. Is it one of the posters on the first floor? -

Ahh okay, my bad then, I don’t follow City and Jurassic World that closely so that’s probably why I missed it. Well it seems to work well enough for Harry anyway, so not too bugged by that reuse -

Oh my god you’re totally right, Harry’s casual torso in these sets is just a reused MJ torso from that Far From Home set. I’m pretty sure this is the first time it’s been mentioned on this forum but maybe I’m just not remembering -

Little confused about the Burrow releasing in August while the rest are coming in July—if it’s a Target exclusive, does that mean it’ll release in July at Target? Or is that just wishful thinking on my part? -

Might as well share my opinions about the sets, even if they’ll get buried by everything else. Since I work off a very very limited income (got a job right before this whole virus thing broke out, worst luck). With that in mind I’ve only gotten a couple sets from this reboot (WW and the first polybag), but after seeing today’s pictures, the Burrow is gonna be a day one purchase, no doubt about it now, even if I already have the original. The RoR looks like a great set for $20, the Forbidden Forest set looks okay, not really for me, but the minifigures are great. I actually like the buildable Hedwig, probably won’t get it though, but who knows. 4 Privet Drive is a bit smaller than I was expecting, and I already have the car from WW and the original Privet Drive, so it doesn’t appeal to me as much, but it still looks like a great set. AT is a wonderful addition to the Hogwarts sections, I love how we’re getting a $90-100 section of Hogwarts every year, as opposed to the old wave when it was every 3 years. Burrow is a beautiful set, better than I could have ever imagined, completely blows the old one out of the water even if that original one is still great. Can’t wait to see Diagon Alley, if it has WWW then that’s a must-buy as well. -

Looking at the box art for the AT, it’s quite ominous as Draco is peeping out from the top of the tower
