Soccer/International Football Customs
The Blue Brick replied to DarkKnight7's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Great custom. It looks great with all the small detailing. I would really love to make my own English Premier League players. The only thing I don't like about this custom is that it is of a Manchester United player, my least favorite team. My favorite is Arsenal. Anyways great custom. -
These are all great along with the background. My favorite is definitely Washington.

Has anyone seen any of the new wheelbarrows with the corresponding wheels at any PAB wall? Edit: I just got back from the PAB wall at the Natick store. I got one cupful of dark red 1x2s and one cupful of dark grey palisades.

I haven't tried that but it sounds like a great idea. You would definitely be able to get more because them being held together really does take up some space. I also don't think it would be considered wrong just as long you put the center piece in the cup too.

Great review! This set is amazing and a must buy if you haven't already. Its actually one of the only SW ships I've bought as lately. The queen fig is the icing on the cake too.

All I can say is amazing. The roof curving outwards is brilliant. The cinema is just great overall. The hotel is also great with its outside restaurant and very nice facade. I really didn't mind that you put no interior because I do the same thing.

Very cool. I have never seen one of these in real life, but the look very interesting. Your design is very similar to the real thing too. I do agree you could bulk up the cannons, but the rest is perfect.

I think this set is great and looks fun to play with. I won't get it though unless I find it on sale for now. The price is too much IMO. Anyways, Great detailed review!

Awesome. I really love the conveyor belt and sign. The finished product looks great too.

Welcome to EB. I also hate the feeling of stepping on Lego. I hope you enjoy our community.

Warner Bros have stated they will not be canceling any of the showings, except for a premier which I believe is in Paris.

This tragedy is definitely a horrific event. I was so excited to go see this tonight with my family, but now we are all deeply saddened after hearing about this all over the news. My hopes goes out to all the families that have victims or family members still recovering.

This really is stunning. The detail is amazing, from the tiling, to the stores, to all the balconies. The colors work so well together. Good Luck in the contest. This will definitely be one to beat.

This is too funny. I love the presentation. Great Job!

I always thought the scarecrow in set 9348 was nice. A bit simple, but gets the job done. http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=9348-1 -
Thanks, I have never seen that plate before and quickly caught my interest. I would love one for a MOC I'm currently working on.

I completely agree with this. Some are great like the large Hulk, then some need to be minifigure size. Then also as you have stated, some need to be in the middle like Hagrid. I also would love if the TLG could add some more articulation into their large figs. Anyways, I think the large moulds are actually quite cool.

It looks great.I really like how you used the phone piece for the sign. Good luck on the contest.

I was hoping to get this for PS3. I guess not. Edit: Thanks for the info 'just2good.' I'll have to wait because I never buy from Toys R Us.

This is really beautiful. It looks greatly designed unlike some mini modulars which look like a jumble of bricks. It has nice accents and overall a great facade.

Review: 6399 Airport Shuttle (1990)
The Blue Brick replied to mostlytechnic's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Great review of this classic set. I wish I had one MISB to crack open to see it in all its glory. I'll most likely never see that day though. My friend does own one from his childhood that his kids still play with. It is badly yellowed and worn out, but still so beautiful. I even play with it when no one is looking. Also, congrats on becoming a RA teacher.
