  1. Hi William, can you PM me? If you can then maybe you could PM me an email address that i can reach you at and we can continue this conversation there instead, cos i don't always get the notifications when someone replies to this post. // Max I tried to PM you but this is what i got Maybe i'm not doing it right? Anyway... I haven't forgotten about you, but i'm still trying to verify the sets authenticity. I've emailed Geas (they still exist, but they make coathangers now) and asked them for help but haven't gotten a reply. I'm thinking of going up there in person but that's not going to happen until the earliest at the end of next week (it's a bit of a drive back n' forth) Meanwhile, if we were to make a deal you and i, how do you imagine that deal going down?

  3. sorry it took some time. was it something like this you had in mind?
  4. Hi William. Thnx for the info, obviously i had no clue about the Prima bricks but now that i do i will try to dive a little deeper to see what i can find out about them and if there's a way to see the difference between those two, hopefully there is but when somebody uses the word "clone" that usually means one needs to be a real expert to tell them apart...oh well, we'll see what i'll find out. When it comes to the manual and the TOC i would very much like to trust it and put that issue to rest, but it bothers me that i have all those other pieces and i don't know where they should go. Also the pieces that are inte the box, the base plate fits kind of neatly in it's own part of the box and so do the 4x4 bricks, they all fit nicely into 1 layer but but the 2x2 bricks don't. I had to start a second layer to fit them in, and the second layer consists of 3 red, 3 white and 4 green so both the symmetry and the "math" are completely off. Believe me i have tried every which way to make it work symmetrical but i can't. The only way is if there's just 2 sets of colors for the 2x2 bricks, it would still be asymmetric but then they would at least divide into 2 equal parts of 23, but i don't have enough of them to do that... It's all kind of annoying i must say. I probably come of as a crazy-person going on about the symmetry, and maybe it matters or maybe i doesn't but for some reason it feels like it matters and until i know for sure i'm not letting it go :) Thank you for showing interest in the set and i'm so glad to hear that you'd be interested in buying it. However, i would like to wait a little while longer to try and find out more details about it and to try and maybe verify it's authenticity before setting a price, i'm not a collector myself so i will be putting it up for sale it as soon as i feel comfortable with setting a price tag on it. (not literally though) I also realize that i never mentioned where i live in case that might be a deciding factor, i live in Sweden.
  5. My main issue is that it looks to me like the box is only half-full. The lid is stamped with the nr 700 2 and in the folder it says the following. " of building kit 700 2, the above house can be built, as well as many other nice models " (i used Google translate) and then with all caps CONTAINS, and it goes on to list each piece and how many of them there should be. Going of the TOC the box is complete but for 2 "decorative pieces" and i don't know for sure how they look, but i think i have a general idea and i know i don't have them. But comparing this box to other boxes i've seen pictures of, this one looks half full. Then there's that plastic bag with additional pieces. All of those were also in the box when i bought it but i picked them out so that the contents of the box would match the TOC in the folder. On the second picture from the bottom it says that in addition to these building kits there are "supplement boxes" you can buy that contain: 700 a. 24 bricks; 700 b. 12 windows and doors. The bricks can also be bought piecewise(!) (Imagine that, walking in to a store and buying 1 tiny little brick ) So maybe that's what the original owner did and that's why there are all those additional pieces? If anyone could help me clarify this it would be much appreciated.
  6. yes that's the one, but with some differences. Mine doesn't have any blue bricks, just white, green, red, and a few yellow. The box from my set looks a bit better and I also have a folder that came with the box, it describes all the pieces and how many of them there should be. From what i can see in the folder (if i understand it correctly) i have all but the 2 "decorative pieces". I don't know how the look even. I would post some pictures but when i try to attach a file it says that it can't be bigger than 104 kb (ridiculously small) and i can't make pictures that small.
  7. Hi. My name is Max and i joined this community because i recently found something at a yard sale and now i need to know more about it, and from the looks of it this might be a good place to do it :) As i was going through a whole bunch of boardgames looking for something that might seem interesting, a box caught my eye cos it had a name that looked a bit out of place amongst the boardgames. "Automatic Binding Bricks" from Geas Konstharts AB Gislaved (Sweden) Turns of it is some kind of old-timey Lego setup, and as soon as i had the box in my hands and looked inside i knew i had something, i didn't know what (and still really don't) but it felt like it was something good. Now i would like to know more about it and i wonder if there's anyone here available to answer some questions about this box of "Automatic Binding Bricks" that i have? I would very much appreciate answers to questions like: Are they authentic and how can i tell? Is the set complete, how can i tell, and if not, what's missing? How much are they worth and where's a good place to sell them?
