Voltron - Castle of Lions (was) my entry for the Lego Voltron contest
ControlAltBrick posted a topic in LEGO Historic Themes
After Haggar's curse, the black lion was turned into a statue, near the original castle of lions. I wanted to recreate the environment of the first 80s episodes. It is not 100% accurate, mainly colors/damages are missing... anyway, i hope you like it! ControlAltBrick replied to Bricked1980's topic in LEGO Town
It looks great, not sure why but i want to eat the white pieces on the left :DDD -
Thank you very much! I hope things will change with official Lego sets (D.Va & Reinhardt / Voltron sets are good examples of what i'd like to see in the future :D)
-
This is so amazing! How many pieces?

Thank you! https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=22392 The shoulders are found in some minifig of nexo sets. Instead you can use: 26604 (Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Studs on 2 Sides, Adjacent) 4733 (Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Studs on 4 Sides) but the nexo ones are just too cool :D

Hi, my name is Marco. After 30 years i restarted using LEGO; i found it is great to prototype shapes/ideas for a game i'm working on (warning: programmer gfx ahead xD). I like to build mainly little robots/mechs (my true passion when i was i child). Usually i do 3D renders of my work, but i'm also trying to learn a bit of photography :) If you are curious you can find some stuff on Flickr I also started some animations experiments on YouTube
-
hahaha great! xD

Ty for the details, i forgot to mention i need a new camera :D A friend given me his coolpix s9300 and a tripod. The camera have a decent zoom but nothing more (it have serious focus problems and no manual aperture/exposure) Too bad if i think i bought a reflex to my now ex gf for her birthday xD
-
Thank you for the details! Yes i recently build a lightbox too, but i just started doing experiments (i'm still more confident with digital renders) CONGRATULATIONS... featured by LEGO... wow!
