The Brick of Nations ---- Retired from Old Game
marvelBoy123 replied to TheBeeze's topic in The Great Brick War
President Dmitrievich of Alsarh BoN Today my country has witnessed outrage. The Walara Dominance State whom I have spoke of before have four times attacked by country with no good reason. We have tried to be nice only applying ecumenic sanctions but it seems the time for peace is over. Walara has been funding the rebels and sending their own soldiers to help them. We have not done anything wrong and yet you attack us unprovoked. And so we come to the ancient Alsarhian fable of the fly : if the fly repeatedly bites the sleeping giant then eventually he will wake from his slumber and swat it. Alsarh declares war on Walara and its allies. We are always open to diplomacy and so you have one week to negotiate but we will move troops into Prinulia with the intention to eliminate your forces. THIS IS WAR!!! -
Lovely, perfect shaping on both vehicles!
-
Great colour scheme and a nice idea!

spoilers: http://Far from home figs by marvelBoy123, on Flickr Here is my version (without fishbowl helmet yet) alongside purist stealth suit spiderman, black and red suit spiderman (using modified stickers from set 75893) and MJ (almost purist aside from the face though official faces would work fine)

Wow, love the sleek shape and colour scheme!
-
Nice, you managed to really get the shape and feel of the vehicle yet in such a compact form.

Nice, I am interested to see what happens next! -
I myself do not make many vehicles - only military. I will send you picture of some of my vehicles anyway. Some people in the community that might be useful : bricksboy - he makes a lot of designs for all sorts of modern vehicles. He makes video tutorials and may give you some idea. Alternatively look on youtube - a very good channel being 'hachiroku24' he does a range of good tutorials. Or just look on something like flickr. I would find a vehicle that you like then use that to scale your other vehicles, Good Luck!

Welcome, looking forward to seeing what you will do!

Very nice, once again! I am looking forward to seeing what you will make next.

Confused about the dead dog in Vader's room. Otherwise very good.

Brilliant, I love it. The overall design is great with so many features in the cockpit. My only suggestion is perhaps the landing gear at the back is a little wider - the ship will need some good support to carry that weight of cargo.
-
Another brilliant ship!
-
Great, I like how you have made the sloped shapes!
-
Hey, Welcome can't wait to see what you will build!
-
Great. A really interesting shape and well made!

West Coast of the Isle of Rahz - A military weapons facility outside Driax - OFFICIAL LOCATION: CLASSIFIED The Joint Task Force contingent from Alsarh have been sent to the Isle of Rahz investigating large amounts of a unknown substance associated with many of the recent attacks. The local government has obligingly allowed BoN to collect more evidence and analysis at the site. Colonel Stan and a hazardous materials expert from Alsarh have been met by a local specialist to carry out analysis. They have arrived in the Czar - KZ-32 'Rhino' armoured SUV. http://IMG _20190506_135708914_HDR-01 by marvelBoy123, on Flickr http://IMG_20190506_142333756_HDR-01 by marvelBoy123, on Flickr The group move towards the door. The building is a small brick warehouse located on the coast. It is designed to withstand most small-medium arms due to tensions in the area ( ). A thick code locked door 24 hour surveillance and spikes on the roof to prevent climbing mean that the building is secure from intruders (not that they would ever find it). Before going in Stan gives out instructions: they area to look for high concentrations of the substance, document all objects stored within the building and find out where they are from and when they arrived, they should then measure for other anomalies such as high radiation levels or unusual heat signatures. Thankfully, Stan has made sure that the others are protected from any biological, chemical or nuclear hazards that the substance may pose. http://IMG_20190506_142418771_HDR-01 by marvelBoy123, on Flickr http://Ocean side surveillance by marvelBoy123, on Flickr The two specialists enter the facility while Stan stays on guard duty outside.
