  1. Sorry for the confusion; I too got mixed up with the midi venator posted by wombat and kristof. I circled the two parts I mentioned. The slopes of course can actually be lined up (a big thank you to kristof) and i wouldn't be surprised if you could do with with 45 degrees instead of 30 if you really wanted. Also correct on the assumption under the centered vent; always personally found this to show a distinct increase in detail.

    [MOC] Munificent Class Star Frigate

Any plans of doing a show & tell for the fleet acclamator you did?

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Hey TheCreatorr, it needs garbage chute... a least an circular angled port for escape.
  4. Out of curiosity was it a design decision to keep the outside 30 degree slop stepped instead of aligning the edges similar to the tail on your midi venator? If you don't find my critique, I believe the 2x2 square under the rear conning tower centered vent is actually supposed to be angled in at the bottom.

    Help with identifying parts/sets!

Good god, thanks so much. I see now why this thing was so hard to find. Looks like a sword (tanto-style), is actually named "dorsal fin" so you'd expect it to be under animals in stud.io, ends up being called "spike flexible 3.5L" under objects. You're a lifesaver!

    Help with identifying parts/sets!

Anyone know the part number for the "sword" on the top of the shuttle. Can't for the life of me find it in stud.io
  7. Recently grabbing one of those midi-scale star destroyers and have become completely obsessed with anything midi scale star wars. A bit disappointed tho that they didn't bother with the four turret (like seriously how are is it to include a half plate)

    ship engine design

Good lord that huge. The front curve and side greebling remind of Rey's speeder from force awakens. If I had to place the engine "nozzles" I'd actually point to the Jedi eta interceptors.

    Angled SNOT Challenge

Wow, thanks for the responses. There is definitely some room to work with. And yes the rail/slide can be vertically flipped, if that really makes a difference. You can assume the following based on the photo below: Any vertical space between the bottom of the rail/slide and 4 plates directly above. Any space within the height above at center and reaching over to approximately 6 studs wide on the angled plate. The pic isn't exactly clear on the angles but basically anything this inside this right angled triangle formed by the angled plate and the vertical portion (feel free to change the vertical too)
  11. Good day Folks, Brand new to the forums and in need of some collective brainpower as mine seems to be dwindling at the moment. Also if this is in the wrong section please let me know as I was unable to find a weekly/monthly build challenge of sorts. I am looking to achieve the following: The main requirement is the need to butt the edge of the plate against the rail so that the bottom edge of the plate is within the divot of the rail/slide. You can use any plate (longer or wider) as long as it faces down and must use the plate with slide/rail vertically. Looking for a configuration to connect these two pieces at a decent angle (as close to 15 degrees as possible but does not need to be exact). Let the fun begin.
