I love the landspeeder and TIE, great ideas guys! And of course I'd love to see a Dewback as well

I've recently picked up the new TIE Fighter and the Imperial V-Wing. The TIE is a beautiful model, and I really like the V-Wing as well. Both on sale too which definitely helps!

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

Overall, I'm very impressed with Jabba's Palace, the Desert Skiff, and the Gungan Sub. These and the planet sets are the only ones that really interest me since I've never been into CW or EU. The minifigures are excellent, particularly Queen Amidala and the figures from Jabba's Palace. Still hoping to see the Palpatine's Arrest set soon- hopefully it won't be long since we've seen the other retailer exclusive set. By the way, what's up with the Ree-Yees figure in the Jabba's Palace set? -

I was really surprised by that too, considering how poorly last year's sold at $39.99 -

Awesome pics! I love Lobot and the new AT-ST Pilot. Jedi Luke's torso seems a bit odd to me, not sure why though. Jabba's Palace still looks excellent, though I'm still waiting to see the price. And speaking of prices, $70 for the Gungan Sub? I was expecting $60, but then again I was expecting $60 for the Sith Infiltrator too. I'll have to decide whether or not to buy the set or just bricklink the minifigures. I know I'm a glutton for punishment, but hopefully we'll get confirmed prices for the other sets today too. -

Jabba's Palace looks very nice; I'm particularly fond of how it looks from the back- very much like the movie. And the new figures look excellent, but if its over $100 I'll probably have to give it a lot of thought. Salacious Crumb looks like he has a one piece mold, similar to LEGO animals. I'm hoping for some kind of articulation, so hopefully I'll be surprised -
Wow, this is AMAZING! Excellent work!

I saw that too and looked into it- turns out its a custom figure (Arealight or Brickforge I think). -

So with this week's Toy Fair in Nuremberg coming up, is it likely that we'll see pictures of the sets soon? The website lists the dates for the fair as February 1-6, but I'm not sure what kind of info has come from this event in past years. -

Yeah, after giving it a second look I guess its not as similar as I thought. The shape of the side is about it. As for having any minifigures at all, I'm not sure either way. The X-Wing and Y-Wing didn't, but most of the newer UCS sets do. I guess we'll find out soon! -

I hope we see a character different from Ten Numb. As for the B-Wing pilot, I have a feeling they'll make a new helmet using the same mold as Captain Jag and the new clone pilot in the ARC-170 set. This mold matches the actual helmet much more closely. -

Here's my entry for the Community Build for Star Wars Episode VI. I'm still new to the whole designing scenes thing but I'm happy with the way this one turned out. Happy New Year!

I would expect ROTS; I can't recall LEGO ever making a scene from the movies with CW-style figures. -

Yup, that's the one. As for the bigger display, the shelves are high and deep enough for me to put a second row behind the ones there now. I'm not sure if I'll like the way it looks, but I'll see how it goes.
