Action Themes Building Drive - Secret Agents!
Captain Nemo replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I want to see it! I'll be posting some stuff tonight, but yeah...kind of quite here. Maybe spies just don't like to show their faces in public. -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah I agree with that statment. There's not too many successful superhero shows where the main cast is B to D list characters. From first glance, I don't see Beware the Batman doing well--mostly because people expect to see his classic villain roster, and not a bunch of mostly unknown characters. Regardless, getting new figures out of it would be good--though there's nothing that shows we'll get figures based on the show anyways. -
How do I put pictures in my signature?
Captain Nemo replied to The_Creator's topic in Forum Information and Help
Well first you need to go to the "edit" profile section on you're profile. Then select change/edit signature and it's there that you can add photos. On Flickr, say you have a photo you want, above said photo is the action button--clicking that will bring up a list of things you can do, including "view all sizes", when you click on that, you'll be able to shrink the photo to the right size you want. You then copy the link of that photo (The link should say "static flickr..." in the html), then copying the link. To deeplink it on you're signature you'll need to click the image button on Eurobricks, and paste the link it that slot. -
Why thank you! I've not made some more in a while, but the full list of them can be found here. Speaking of which I can make some more since I just got some new characters.

This is a large and hard to photograph creation showing the epic Pre-title sequence of the latest James Bond film, Skyfall; where in Istanbul, 007 chases after the hitman Patrice whose stolen valuable information, leading to them landing on a moving train—with MI6 agent Eve in hot pursuit. Classic Bond...James Bond ~Nemo

Single Pane LEGO Licensed Theme Funnies
Captain Nemo replied to Gregorovich's topic in LEGO Licensed
To be 100% honest, the original Batman Henchmen may be my favorite minifigure(s). They’re so simple, cute, indistinguishable, and great for collecting. Anyways, I’ve been creating a growing selection of Henchmen Funnies on my Flickr, and so here’s some of the things I’ve been up to lately… You Glasses! Step forward! -

Action Themes Building Drive - Secret Agents!
Captain Nemo replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This looks fun--plus I'm in love with James Bond Lego, so anything spy related is great! I've got a question though, are we limited to just like land/car vehicles? It says "they" need vehicles and such but the only example ones are land based cars and trucks--are we only allowed to makes car vehicles or can we make other things too? -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Personally I think it would suck if Stan Lee was the pre-order figure. There's just so many other cool characters that have not been made yet, and may not get made ever--unless being the pre-order of course. I hope that the figure would be Galactus, since having a minifigure version of him standing next to a Star Wars planet would look amazing. -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

Well most likely we'll also get a set or two based on the events in the game. The Lex Mech from the DC lines is a sign of this, since his robot was a big thing in the Batman game. Can't wait for this. -

You've gotten extra sticker sheets too? I've not yet bought the new main wave of Superhero sets, but the Arkham set I just bought has an extra sticker sheet. That's kind of strange that Lego is handing out extra sheets and extra pieces. -
I've posted these villains on my Flickr today. The first picture shows custom made Flash's Rouges Gallery; the Trickster, Captain Boomerang, and Mirror Master. The second is a picture of custom lower level villains, with Condiment King, Angle Man, and Killer Moth.

On my Flickr, I've made a few "Black and White" style photos, with a color highlight. These are meant for a Flickr Icon format, so they'll look good in small icons, but nonetheless, they're still cool pictures of minifigures. Here's a few: These are just a few, Two-Face, Bane, and Joker's Henchmen whose come to be known as "Coco" in my Joker creations.

Pic on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/72036844@N04/8292964152/ It’s the end of the world tonight, some Mayans believe. Ok, maybe not (I don’t believe in that, nor do the Mayans, and my studies in Classical History isn’t changing my opinion). But—could it be possible—that in fact the Mayan calendar is actually a conspiracy made by the Mayans to drive the conquering Conquistadors from their homeland using fear?! (See I’m using History Channel logic there, so that makes it true!) I was unsure if was going to build for this small and doomed contest, and I would assume that if the prophecy was true, we’d never hear the winner (Clever on that—no need for prizes!). No, I was going to make a small round Earth ball and have a bunch of mushroom clouds with fighters and missiles flying over—but eh, tis harder than I thought. Then tonight came the idea for this beauty, and here we are. Good luck everyone (And hopefully not goodbye!) ~Nemo

LEGO CUUSOO BTTF DeLorean Time Machine ACHIEVED
Captain Nemo replied to Ceroknight's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nice that this is the next set. Though it seems to me, that they just picked one of the four review models to make, and dumped the others--which sucks because it seems you need 10,000 votes and then need to be able to beat out the others who got 10,000 votes (Which itself could be troublesome depending on how many models are in one review compared to others). Too bad the Western Town didn't make it, it would work well with the Lone Ranger stuff coming out. -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I too like the size of Lego's Tumbler. It does seem a few studs short, and maybe two would make it far closer to scale size, but I like how it's in scale (For the most part) with the other DC vehicles released--at least compared to like Two-Face's trucks (s), and the new Arkham van. However, I like most people, don't like the new Freeze--although adding goggles would not help my opinion much. So far, for me, I don't like really any of the "new" villains in the second DC wave, with Scarecrow and Penguin far at the bottom of the list. Personally, I like the more Batman Animated approach that was with Batman 1. -
REVIEW: 76004 Spider-Man: Spider-Cycle Chase
Captain Nemo replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Great review! This is a really good looking set, and a great buy at $20. Lego Superheroes are really pulling out the stops on these small sets. (Now, if only they could throw a Killer Moth in there somewhere?) -
I gotta say I'm not a fan of the T-Rex and Penny, on account of them not being lego causing them to stand out too much. But from what I can see, the brick built structures are great.

Eurobricks' Super Hero Comic Cover Contest!

Yay! Thanks to all those who voted for me--we all know Mad Love triumphs over regular love any time! Also congratulations to Ninja Nin and Kristel--it was a really close race for the top three, and I wasn't sure who'd make it! Great job on you're entries, as well as great job on everyone's entries. And I'm off! Until the next superhero month! Dun, dun, dun...dah, dun, did, did, dunnnn! No...actually I'm off to make a bunch of Skyfall mocs, but whatever. -

James Bond 007 Custom Designs
Captain Nemo replied to DarkKnight7's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
These look really good. I wish these were official! In the mean time though, I'll be looking for useable yellow heads to use for Skyfall's characters (I'd use Flesh color, but there's more choices in yellow), since I'm planning on making a series of creations depicting scenes. I’ve found some parts I’ll use, but faces are the hardest part by far.- 21 replies
