Last night I picked up for my PS3 Sonic and ET, and this morning I grabbed Gremlins. So far, my experience with Year 2 wave 2 is...less than stellar? Aside from not even being able to play until afternoon Saturday (because of the hours long updates--parents must hate that!), there seems to be a significant number of bugs and quirks. The Sonic level played fine, but the open worlds are a mess. Puzzles not working; car chargers freaking out; and one particularly nasty bug continually happened where suddenly my characters could no longer fly and/or their abilities stopped working. I wasn't even able to drop the TARDIS in to help; it just got stuck mid-portaling. Worst of all, I found that some of the updates seem to overwrite the previous downloads--entirely. I've not picked up Fantastic Beasts yet, but when the game prompted me to update Harry Potter now, I said fine, I already spent the day downloading so what the hell. Well it turns out that update completely wiped all my progress of the HP open world; gold bricks, purchases, and all. On the plus side, Sonic the character is spectacular. It's impossible to describe how truly fast he is--all I can say is that racing for gold bricks has never been easier!

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
We're getting a bit off track here... Focus on the sets in the here and now please! Thanks! -
@Herky In regards to leaks and Eurobricks, they are absolutely not allowed. We do not want people posting them here, telling other people where to find them, or even using this site's PM system to pass them around. This is done because A) leaking is just wrong itself and B) we appreciate our relationship with Lego and we want to keep that relationship going strong. Lego hates leaks and occasionally asks us to remove information/images that are inappropriately revealed to the public through our site. We do this out of courtesy and respect towards Lego and because frankly it's the right thing to do. Which leads to embargo discussion: Lego has generously provided us (as in Bob) the new London set to review. It was under embargo, meaning we were not to post our review or even acknowledge that we were in possession of one and in the process of reviewing it until that embargo date had passed. We will never drop by and give heads up that we are writing an early review just because someone leaked photo of the same set on Ebay. Eurobricks Staff cannot discuss certain things to the public because if we do so, we may no longer be allowed that early access information and set reviews that I know many of our members appreciate. Now back to Architecture discussion!

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

The image of the polybag is on the internet somewhere. Everyone please do not ask where to find it or provide answers on how to find it. The polybag is a leaked image (technically)--previously we got in trouble with Lego because the community was posting around the other LBM polybag. Let's not go down that route again. Focus on the sets we can discuss and show publicly please! Thanks! -

I find that a bit hard to believe--not that I wouldn't love it at that price! More and more I keep seeing the Joker Lowrider as a ripoff and it's only becoming more apparent with every set being released, in my opinion. How is that thing $50? It could somewhat be justified by the purple colors and excellent figure printing, and it must be a very solid build...but Batgirl is in two other sets (counting Dimensions) and Joker is not entirely new either. Harley is super-printed, but then...if Brickset is correct, you could get a much more satisfying price wise set in the form of Tail-Gator. You'd get two completely new one-off figures, a giant truck, and the most articulated big-figure yet, all for the same price. -

Google, that is the answer! Let's not discuss the choice to use Tarantula again. The set designers...or more likely the movie designers chose to use her and as such she found her way into a set. Leave it at that, and discuss the merits of the set itself not the characters it includes. Thanks! -
I stumbled across the Fantastic Beasts story pack at my local Walmart today (In the Lego Creator shelf area for some reason )--so these must be filtering out there now. I did not pick it up however. Just gettin the word out!

Sweet fig! --- On another note--everyone please do not quote pictures! If you are replying to another person who posted an image, remove the quoted image from your post. We do not need two or three duplicate images on the same page--it adds nothing but clutter. It's also my biggest pet peeve; and it drives me insane. I've had to remove close to a dozen duplicate images today alone. Don't quote media! Thanks! -

The only dates we know are November 27th and Jaunary 1st. The former for the Batcave/Freeze/Lowrider/Batmobile and the latter for everything else listed at this time (Arkham/Balloon/Scuttler). We do not know any international release dates; we only know the literal dates that have been provided with set press releases. Even those are just presumed US release dates. When we know more, it will be noted on the first page if this thread, where all the above information can already be found. -

We are not going to be discussing clone brands here--regardless of how similar they may be to upcoming figures. This thread is for discussion about official Lego only. Thanks! -

FYI Everyone--please avoid posting lists of names here, such as in the form of "presumable/possible" CMF lists. Largely, these are nothing more than wishlists, which is something that we already have a dedicated topic for. I've been getting a lot of reports lately about this, so I want to make sure that people understand that posting wishlists in quote on quote "resource" thread such as this one, where members expect to find accurate and true information, causes nothing but confusion. Please avoid doing this. Thanks! -
Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Exactly this! Everyone focus on the sets we do know about please; and not just educated guesses based off posters, trailers etc. Incidentally, as we are reaching the time of more Marvel movie releases, make sure you move all appropriate film discussion to the correct thread. Additionally make sure you use spoiler tags when discussing iffy plots and points. Please be considerate of the many members here who do not want their movie experiences spoiled at a glance. Thanks!- 5809 replies

There is a wishlist thread already; we do not need two. Predictions and wishes are basically the same thing. -

Everyone--if you wish to see the picture being discussed you will have to find it on your own. Please do not ask how to find the picture here. Regardless of its validity, the picture is branded confidential and as such members should not post the image here or post how to find said image. Thanks! -
@Tracytron - Stop drudging up old topics to add an offhand comment. You have already been told, yesterday in fact, that this is not appropriate behavior. Do not continue to do this in the future. Thank you.

Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Captain Nemo replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Everyone--take the movie talk to the correct thread in the Community Forum. Please do not discuss concept art or movie trailers here. This should be a spoiler free zone--I cannot tell you how many times movies have been ruined here by loose lips! This thread is for set discussion, not set (and/or movie) speculation. Let's not link to images that have a big old confidential mark on them. Incidentally we already had this terrible image discussion a few pages back. Talk about the stuff we know about, not sketchy looking photos--thanks!
