  1. Yes I see that now. Still--with such a sketchy terrible edited photo, it's best to be safe, not sorry. Well I'm sorry, but for a different reason. Continue discussion!
  2. Incidentally, it is also inappropriate to pass around leaked images or information on how to find leaked images via Eurobricks' comments or PM system. Absolutely do not post, share, aid the leaking of set images on Eurobricks. Change the conversation. Thanks.
  3. I removed that super sketchy image. @RattyPatty15 As that came from a new member, I'll just politely note here once: Absolutely no leaked images are allowed on Eurobricks! If you post a leaked image, there will be serious consequences, up to and including banning. If the image is sketchy and questionable, do not post it here. Thank you.
  4. Why are Lego parrots so expensive? :sadnew:

      lol, I don't know why

  5. Play nice folks. Incidentally we do have an underutilized wishlist thread already, however considering that the Lego Batman Movie has its own style and possibilities, I see reason to keep this thread working as well. Do remember however that at this time the film is not yet widely available and one should use spoiler tags here for any film character that could be considered spoilery. Please be respectful of member who can not yet see the film in their countries. Thanks!
  6. I can see this is starting to happen so... Everyone: As the movie has started to be released world wide, and as some of you have already seen it, I ask that you keep all movie discussion, especially in regards to spoilers, in the The Lego Batman Movie Thread only, and not here in the set discussion thread. Please be respectful of members who cannot yet see the film in their countries and who wish to see said film without knowing every Easter egg and plot twist beforehand. Thank you!
  7. Evidently Lego seems to care. Now knowing that they care, why would they put new non-photograph-able sets out in a room full of photographers is beyond me...point being, out of respect for Lego, we won't allow unauthorized photos to be posted here at Eurobricks. No matter how interesting they may be. You may of course discuss them here at will however.
  8. I've added a poll to this. Personally I think both have their uses, and neither of them look bad really. I do find the movable visor on the old 2012 version, visually, entirely unnecessary. Frankly I think it looks ridiculous with the visor up. The only advantage being that it allows you to swap out colors and styles of the various helmets. On the 2017 version, I rather like it. That being said, I do wish the Micros version didn't go with an angry expression face, which almost ruins the Classic Iron Man figure you can make with it. Almost.
  9. Personally, I absolutely love the new City sets, specifically Jungle--which says a lot considering I don't think I've ever left Licensed before! The Jungle sets to me offer tons of Adventurers nostalgia, which only adds to their appeal. Unlike say Volcano, this wave not only has the obligatory "study" objective feeling, but also "explore", "adventure", and from what I can see so far, "treasure hunters". It all adds to the fun in my opinion, as well as a sense of danger. Sure Volcanoes are dangerous, especially if you walk right up to one, but heck a Leopard is a bit more terrifying to walk up to! The new Leopard and Panther are spectacular (I never knew I needed them until now!), as is the nice if possibly unnecessary, new Venus Fly Trap mold. And if you buy the whole wave you'll end up with three crocodiles and numerous frogs and snakes. The new Spider mold is appreciated as well. There wasn't anything wrong with the previous one, but I like that we are getting new species. The vehicles and terrain are done well too, which is a surprise coming off of Volcano (clearly I don't think highly of that theme. Lime green is garnish). Granted my opinion may change on the terrain once we remove the sets from this staged background we're seeing (imagination can only go so far afterall!). But again, the ruined temples give an Adventurers look as does the hints of previous adventures from the crashed plane. I'll note too how well done the waterfall is. Normally I, and I assume most people, dislike the plastic sheets used (they only bring back debilitating flashbacks from that PotC set ), but the one used in 60160 looks fantastic! The largest three vehicles look the best, and I think the one included in 60161 is my favorite. They're overly huge, but they all have a strong heft and tough attitude. The small cars are all throwaways however.
  10. Everyone play nice, or don't play at all. Focus on the sets. Focus on the Lego. Thanks!
  11. Everyone take a break. In fact some of you will be taking a longer break than others. This thread is not about fighting over which source is more right, that type of useless pissing contest has no place here. This thread is going to be closed for a bit until we can all remember the actual purpose of it.
  12. It's all budgeting. Each theme has to allocate their funds to allow printing for the things they want the most (same with allocating funds for new pieces). So not printing the back of coattails Joker affords them the opportunity instead to spend their printing budget on say arm and leg detailing for Catwoman. It's all give and take. However the LBM is on the extreme level, since they clearly have a huge budget considering all the new parts and prints--and it additionally may be affected by the desires of the movie production side of things. Marvel obviously doesn't have that kind of budget this wave, so all the cool new parts like baby Groot (two versions!) are offset by cheaper blank legs and arms. Kiss Kiss Batman is however a key chain, so it has different budgetary and production standards than the sets. Same reason CMFs are far and away more detailed than "normal" minifigures, they're produced in China, at a cheaper cost to Lego, which affords them the ability to get additional printing and molding.
  13. First, no problem with opinions. I've repeatedly voiced my dislike of the title of this thread (among others in Licensed) because people take "rumors" and use it as an excuse to talk about anything. False! The problem is when people are just throwing out names and sets without a thought, a day later half a dozen members come in, pages behind, and get the false assumption that all of the previous discussion was stone cold fact. They are then led to believe we will get such sets/figures/characters discussed. I don't like it when people are listing wishes and hopes in these set discussion threads because they cause confusion. In fact there are already a multitude of underutilized threads for which such baseless (yet, yes as you say, admittedly fun discussions) claims can be passed around. For the record, I interject in these threads when they are getting off the intended track--that of set discussion. This may not be well-known publicly, but I as staff, get multiple Reports (from the button in the corner of comments) every day from members (just like you) who read this thread (and other Licensed ones) asking if I'll step in to set the forum straight. There is a large silent majority who wish to read and follow these thread(s), and when they open said thread they expect the discussion to be on the sets--not on which movie character possibly could show up in a set that we might be getting sometime in the undisclosed future. In that vein, I've changed the title here to better reflect the purpose of this thread.
  14. Everyone please stop listing off the number of sets that we think we'll get. Everyone please stop listing off random characters names that we think could be included. The last few pages in this thread have been nothing but a blur. All this rumor and speculation talk does nothing but (clearly) confuse people. Until we get some tangible information, such as set numbers or titles, please do not drudge up half-baked rumors as facts or sure things. Patience is a virtue. Focus on what we have now, not on what we could have later.
  15. Eurobricks is not a site for promoting your YouTube videos. If you wish to discuss new sets etc., you can do so in the appropriate designated forums, but this is not a site to simply re-post your videos to gain viewership. Thanks!
  16. Everyone, this is not a rumor validity discussion thread. This is a thread for Lego Dimensions. Talk about the aspects of Lego Dimensions we know about (for sure), or don't talk at all. Thanks.
  17. @BrickRapper @ Everyone Last I checked, we are not all group-texting each other. As per common adult curtesy, and the clear guidelines of this site, write in full English only. Slang is not only difficult to read and comprehend, but it clearly throws threads off topic. Also it's obnoxious. And on on a related note, don't talk back to Mods--especially those of other Forums who drop in here to politely get things back on track when I'm not around. I can promise you, I won't be nearly as polite if this behavior continues, especially if it involves talking back to helpful staff members. -- As for everyone else...you know the drill, talk about the sets please. Knowingly going on debate tangents does not help anyone. Back to Lego talk! Thanks.
  18. We will have discuss that when the time comes. Well specifically I would have to discuss that further with the Action Themes staff, as it would be their prerogative considering it's "their" theme. But so far, potential Ninjago inclusions aside, all indications point towards BrickHeadz being a Licensed Forum property. This is really just semantics though--we have tons of new sets to discuss instead!
  19. Yes. I do not know what themes are collectively presumed to be included, but as BrickHeadz seems to encompass Licensed themes exclusively, then yes--they will be here too. Separating Brickheadz from its previous place on the Superhero thread pages was done in part to accommodate future non-superhero licenses that we presume BrickHeadz will eventually cover. This thread will be BrickHeadz central--so if later in the year we get Beauty in the Beast (or whatever) BrickHeads, all their discussion and set posting will occur here too. Incidentally I have heard the rumors of the Beauty and the Beast figures, however I will not list them on the main post until more concrete information comes in. I dislike posting just names on the main post, I prefer something more tangible, such as a set number before I'll add anything there. No. The pair sets from SDCC were exclusives, and are not available for purchase anymore. They were only sold in limited quantities at said convention, last year. Granted, chances are the characters will reappear--with new designs--to be sold to the greater public. As is the case with the "new" individually sold Captain America and Iron Man figures.
  20. I'm late to the party on this, but I have created a separate thread for Lego BrickHeadz, as it is a unique sub-theme of greater Licensed. Due to the close relationship of properties--being that BrickHeadz currently encompasses DC and Marvel, you may continue to discuss the theme in either their associated Superhero threads or the specific BrickHeadz thread itself. Do note however that all set information on the BrickHeadz theme will now be exclusively posted in said designated thread, and not in their associated Superhero threads which was previously the case. Thanks everyone!
