sweet! I have the groomer built from the arctic truck too, maybe that was your design as well!

    42111 - Fast & Furious car

I don't want it to be a muscle car. This wasn't gone in 60 seconds, this was Fast & Furious! give me a ricer!!!
  3. I'm almost into fpv drones as much as I am into lego. Its so nuts seeing someone with the know-how to bridge the gap and blend these two hobbies. Ive soldered together a dozen drone setups before but I still wouldn't know the first thing about how to wire up lego hardware to the flight controller. Most flight controllers these days will do blackbox logging to help you tune and troubleshoot your quad, especially due to the infinite hardware combinations you can put together and make fly. One huge variable in the performance and tuning is the frame attributes and most notably its stiffness (or lack of) and resonance it can create from vibrations at the prop/motor. I'd love to see a blackbox log on this technic frame (and motors) which obviously has much more movement and flex than a carbon frame. Flexy bits can actually do your tune some good so it might even have some surprising results as far as how it stacks up to FPV gear.

    42099 - 4x4 X-treme Off-Roader

Anybody trying to redesign the body to make something different of it? Its much like rc cars with the body 'cover' so its a blank canvas. I was thinking somehow a unimog of course.

    [C-MODEL] Snow Groomer

So I am having a bit of trouble building from the lxf file with LDD builder. It is building the base frame for the tracks, then all of the gearbox parts individually and all the peripheral parts (plow, groomer, lights, mirrors) and then building the cabin/body last. The cabin/body is meshed into all of the other stuff and these smaller gearbox linkages have obvious gaps for where other liftarms intersect from core constructions that should happen earlier on. Guessing thats just the way it is and theres no easier way about it?
  8. I am having no luck getting this to install with any of the above methods on a fresh windows 10 home x64 install (2 day old windows installation)

    42082 - Rough Terrain Crane

Yeah fun build! I might like the 42042 more just because i like crawlers more Superstructure is a fair bit bigger too. Definitely more dense weight wise and piece wise, pics make them seem close but the added heft and maybe 20% bigger scale makes the new one feel much bigger
