I think the number of positive responses is greater than the negative ones. It's just that upset people tend to be a bit louder and outspoken about things, which makes it seem that they are in the majority.

Agree! This seems to be a big problem within the SW community.

    Just found this:

    https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-star-wars-20th-anniversary-sets-rumoured-for-2019/

No idea if it's legit and I can't say that I am personally interested in collecting any yellow faced minifigures again, but I do love that old logo still and as I was a kid when the first sets came out the nostalgia for that packaging is very real. Would be a great opportunity to get some OT sets as well :)

Vintage figures is such a good idea! I'm wondering if they will make new figures based on the old style or they will just bring back already released figures....

Brick Fanatics revealed that we might see some anniversary sets in 2019 for Lego Star Wars 20th anniversary

    https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-star-wars-20th-anniversary-sets-rumoured-for-2019/

    According to the site:

"April wave of sets will feature special nostalgic 20th anniversary packaging, using the original LEGO Star Wars logo. Each box will contain a collectible minifigure that replicates the original, yellow faced LEGO Star Wars designs."

So it seems we might get vintage figures?

Small army to contribute and is still WIP for my Rohan Armoured Rangers. I hope you enjoyed viewing them.

Nice one! I really like the painted helmet and armours.

An update of my Orcs army

Impressive army! Dewbacks fit surprisingly well.

I saw this beautiful Mayan Pyramid MOC on flickr (called "Ancient Temple" by W. Navarre) and I'd like to build one exactly like this for my own collection. Any tips on getting started, what parts I will need, etc? I have been building LEGO sets for many years but have not done much custom building, perhaps this will be too difficult without more experience? Any suggestions or tips are welcome! For example, from just the picture, is it possible to get a rough estimate of how many bricks are used? What might it cost to order all those pieces, and how difficult would it be to recreate without any instructions?

Link to more pictures here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/josdu/35713210173/in/photostream/

Why don't you ask the creator him/herself? He might have a list of parts or auto-generated building instructions from building software like Stud.io

Haha, first idea/sketch was 2 times bigger ? this is 95*65 in centimeters give or take.

And thx for the compliment ? I had time.. I spended 300 hours in 5 months I think + I needed to work and my girlfriend wants attention to ?

On the regular LEGO minifigs the capes are from 'Capemadness' and the rest of the figs is custom made (21 of them).

Great beautiful work! Are those shoulder armours and helmets part of Lego inventory or custom?

An ebay seller now has the Cloud City pilot up for sale so hopefully not too long before some more news.

Yes I've seen him as well. There are also a few sellers on Bricklink as well. I'm wondering how these sellers get the figures before the sets are released?

Apparently there is a new UCS Cloud City set coming up at some point in 2018. The set id is 75222. I've seen a few pictures of new designs for a cloud city driver and an Ugnaught (had to Google how to spell this). I'm not sure whether is it ok to share the images of those figures here. A new cloud city set is long overdue. Hopefully, it won't be to pricey :)

I would love it if TLG would make the characters from the ongoing Star Wars Comic Series "Doctor Aphra" in minifig form.

    That would include:

    Dr. Chelli Lona Aphra
0-0-0 aka. "Tripple-o" (basically an evil version of C-3PO, in black with red eyes)
BT-1 aka. "Bee Tee" (evil version of R2-D2)
Black Krrsantan (an evil Wookie bounty hunter)

I know it's highly unlikely with sets based of this comic series, but you newer know with Lego. We've had sets from "The Old republic", ships like the TIE-defender and the E-wing (jek-14's stealth starfighter), etc.

It's also possible we could get the charachters in polybags, or maybe a "look-a-like-charachter" from other Lego SW series like "The Yoda chronichles".

    But, yeah, still pretty unlikely.

    The comics are amazing.
