Love the advent calendar: a couple things that struck me as interesting. First off - a new build for the goblet of fire- and it looks beautiful, IMO it looks REALLY good! So I’m stoked about that. Peculiarly ANOTHER triwizard cup, that’s the third one in the last three years of the wave. One which was a mould for Cedric, which didn’t really have the right coloring or shape, the graveyard duel one which I thought was fantastic, had the colours and the shape, just lacked printing but I didn’t really mind- and then this one- which I personally think is too big, but nice I guess. The figs are amazing and k love the builds- they really add to the set

This Harry is wonderful!! The PS casual variant from diagon alley is the version I wanted most! So stoked

Wait so why did lord Voldemort get banned? Obviously I know what he’s like and it’s well deserved, but I imagine he did something recently in the past few days to cause it to finally happen?

So I couldn’t be bothered to read the last 10 pages and Lego leaks is blocked with rubbish- can someone tell me if there’s been any new leaks or information in the last week/ 10 pages- thanks in advance!

It’s the same principal though- random blocker said stuff, we were all like oh no that’s wrong go away, sets get revealed, and he was correct and we all owed him a big apology, I just don’t want the same to happen to kingnono. All I’m gunna say is- remember the random blocker last year, remember the many that gave solid andtrue info that was scoffed at or deemed lies. It’s a common theme in this thread to be too quick to doubt or judge people. And then after everyone’s all like ‘oh..... guess.... guess we were wrong about them huh. Well errr...... we won’t do it again..... s... o.... r..... r..... y....’ . So let’s not be hasty to bash this guy alright. Thank you

Hey everyone! Just wandering if anyone has a stud.io file or LDD file of the astronomy tower! I really would like to see what my custom ‘hogwarts Lessons’ set AKA the quad entrance (I think) looks like in between the great hall and the astronomy tower/ viaduct entrance! Thanks in advance

Hermione had an exclusive torso print so I’d count her as well, plus he gold statue which I like to count as exclusive- so I’d say 5, hopefully we get ATLEAST 3 this year

I think you’re right! I should have given it a closer look, also the hairstyle is completely different, and she’s with Ron, I’m excited for that then, I’m hoping the other figs are exclusive.

Well it seems the advent calendar is based on the Yule ball, which sucks, we get harry in Yule ball attire - the exact same fig as the clock tower and it looks like Ron and Hermione from the Yule ball in the back. Would have been nice to get others from the Yule ball if they were adamant on doing the Yule ball again. The print Harry seems to be holding looks like the Yule ball poster which is a lovely touch and seems to be a nice print. The instruments aren’t anything special IMO. This is a shame. Would have been nice to have it based on OOTP. Maybe it’s a mix of both. Time will tell.

Hi everyone- just wanted to say, I’m sure everyone here respects everyone’s sexuality and it’s an important thing to accept everyone as they are. I certainly don’t have a problem with it. That being said, @UKFan922 you’ve consistently brought this into the chat when it serves no relevance whatsoever, this is a thread for Lego Harry Potter and our thoughts on Lego Harry Potter, multiple times you’ve somehow introduced gender politics and related the fact you’re homosexual with multiple points that have nothing to do with it. I’d very much appreciate it if we ALL stayed away from that topic, not because I’m homophobic (IM NOT) but just because it’s completely irrelevant to the thread at hand, Thank you very much :) very excited for the CMF series and the mysterious set! The D2C diagon alley sounds brilliant, all in all, it seems this could be the best Lego HP wave yet!

If this hogwarts students set really is a minifigure, a-a-and it really is including 4 minifigures from each house- personally I’d like each house figure to be in robes and not jumper, seeing as we have each house in jumpers, and we don’t have slytherin or Hufflepuff in robes, and we see hogwarts students in robes more frequently than JUST in a jumper, which is actually seen quite rarely in the films, the majority of the time they’re in robes which is something I haven’t been able to grasp as to why for YEARS, this whole time Lego have been putting them in JUST jumpers, I imagine the black capes were supposed to represent the robes, but it was just inn-accurate to the main appearances for hogwarts uniforms, so when 2018 rolled around and we got more jumpers, I was sort of like, okay, fine. But then we got picture of the CMF And I died and went to heaven, those torso’s and legs are beautiful and more accurate to the common appearance. Now of course we have the slytherin robes as well.

I won’t lie. In my personal opinion, I wouldn’t want a fleur and bill wedding set, it was great to get the Yule ball minifigure selection in the clocktower. The astronomy tower roles around, and it’s sort of like- great, a SECOND set with all the minifigures in dress robes- that’s half of the hogwarts expansions with ALL the minifigures in said sets in dress robes. I personally would have preferred Malfoy shirt and tie, Harry casual, Ron (the same), Hermione casual, lavender, Horace slughorn (the same), Snape HBP, dumbledore HBP, bellatrix. The reality is though- that minifigure selection can be made easily. The Ron and lavender and slughorn exist. The dumbledore from 2018 CMF works. Snape is bound to appear somewhere in the next two years, bellatrix we’re getting. Firestar toys sell each house shirt and tie torso variants. It’s only the Hermione and Harry that don’t exist- the slug club party minifigures would have been MUCH harder to dot around places. But I don’t necessarily want to see another set based on dress robes. a gringotts dragon breakout set, a courtyard duel, belltowers, godrics hollow attack, the forbidden forest, the bridge, the boathouse, malfoy manor- I’d take all of those

Do you remember when the great hall prototype footage from toy fair was released, and it had that extra side bit connected to the main tower that allowed for a smoother connection to the whomping willow which meant that the stairs wouldn’t hit it, and it also had the tables which could flick up to simulate the Harry vs Draco dueling club. That was pretty rad.

Right- first of all, these are absolutely gorgeous! Here are my thoughts: the room of requirements: perfect, I can’t fault this, in terms of minifigures, Luna is brilliant, Hermione is perfect, love that she gets a new cardigan print- and love the new Harry in this, the print is perfect and I didn’t expect Lego to do it, the mini figures, including the death eater statue is perfect. The build, in my eyes, is also perfect, absolutely adore the fireplace, and the board with the pictures is wonderful. Absolutely adore this set. This is a day 1 purchase for me. 10/10 Forbidden forest: umbridge encounter: again, I absolutely love this. Dolores umbridge is brilliant, I was lucky enough to get the bricktober pack so I can that version of her to my room of requirements. Hermione is great as well. The centaurs are beautiful- love the new mould, a plus for sure. Harry, I must confess, I’m a little disappointed in. Seeing as the CMF version features a dark grey jacket and this is light grey, however I don’t know why I’m complaining since the more accurate version comes in the CMF, which I plan to get a whole box of! So I’ll have the spares- also that torso was way too good and reminiscent of the scene not to use- I actually just made that Harry seeing as it’s a fairly common torso. The tree build is decent, nothing too special, Great to add to the other trees! Grawp is fantastic though, really love how he came out! Love the face and the proportions. This is a day 1 purchase for sure! 8/10 4 privet drive: wow, I love the composition of this set- and just the way it looks I’m general, I think it’s beautiful. I’m upset that Harry is a repeat from 2018. In the scene Harry has a different jumper on, Ron I believe is the same. Could have done with a new Harry torso here. Dobby is great as always, nothing much to say. Not too bothered about the reuse of the torso for Vernon, but it would have been nice to have some indication of his weight. Love his new face! Petunia is okay, she looks how I expected her to look, along with Dudley- they’re pretty average for me! The house build is great tho! Love the foliage on the outside, love the way it’s put together, love the privet drive sign- would have liked a few more owls however. I don’t necessarily care for the car, but it’s necessary and I don’t mind- the upgrade seems pointless, but nice none the less. The interior is so cozy and lovely- and yes it would have been nice to have some suggestion of a kitchen and the couches may not be accurate enough in colour, but lovely builds, lovely fireplace and bedroom, love the stairs and cupboard. Overall love it a lot! Day 2 purchase for me 7.8/10 the burrow: now, when I first saw this- 2 things went through my head, 1) my head is exploding this is beautiful, and 2) this is so much better than the old one. The mini figures are to me, a disappointment- I hold the same opinion on bellatrix as the majority: great torso, needs dress print and the new face- meh. Love the fenrir greyback- Harry is disappointing, since he is the same as he one in the grawp set- I would have loved his classic HBP Red jacket and grey shirt. Molly is lovely aside from the hair, she really needed Hermiones yr 1/2 2018 hair :(, as for tonks, she needed molly’s Hair in dark brown, but I’m not TOO bothered about that, she’s nice nonetheless. Arthur is brilliant, Ron is brilliant- lovely to get Ginny as well- not too sure about her torso however... BUT all my disappointments in the figures are more than made up for in the set itself! Wow! The way it’s built to give it that slant and lean, the accuracy, all the new prints, the amount of rooms, the size and detail! It’s truly beautiful! Day 1 purchase for me! 8.7/10 the astronomy tower: when I saw this for the first time, I thought it was absolutely beautiful! My favourite part of this set is the build itself. Harry is fine- love the prints, same for Hermione and Luna and Neville. They’re each accurate and great for the collection! Slughorn is fine IMO, nice to get another variation from my bricktober variant! Lavender is really disappointing, her face and hair are extremely inaccurate for me, her torso is nice- what I’ll do is use dorothy’s Face and hair for lavender. Ron is meh, but very disappointed he doesn’t have dual arms- this would have made him a 10/10 for me, at the current he’s a 5/10- that’s what the arms would have done. Malfoy is perhaps my biggest disappointment in the set. I find his hair to be entirely inaccurate. I don’t like his face, I don’t like the fact that he is wearing slytherin robes - I LOVE the fact we get slytherin robes, but he needed to be in black suit. The exterior of the set is beautiful, absolutely wonderful, my favourite of all the sets in this wave build wise- however I’m not sure how I feel about the increase in sand green- tho it’s not too abundant. The greenhouse is lovely, but would have liked it if it was separate. Will be putting my Neville year 2 and sprout in there. The entrance area is okay- it’s what I expected, nothing much more could have been done there. I don’t like how bare the bottom floor of the astronomy tower is- I would have liked to have gotten a vanishing cabinet in one of The spaces there. I like slughorns office, very nice and appropriate. I dislike the fact we get ravenclaw common room- I would have vastly preferred it if this was the boys bathroom- so Harry and Draco could duel here. He astronomy section is decent enough- I love the area Ron and lavender kiss, especially from the exterior, it’s really accurate and it’s nice to have these little spaces. However it seems a little cramped- but I do love it. Overall I think the shaping of this set and the build is phenomenal- however I’m not happy with the minifigure selection or the interior selection- I would have preferred the minfigures be: snape from HBP Dumbeldore from HBP Bellatrix harry red jacket slughorn (same version from set) Hermione casual from HBP Ron (same version in the set) lavender (same version in the set) malfoy (black suit and better hair) but I adore this segment as a segment of hogwarts. It is a day 1 purchase for me 9/10

Had a look at that guys chamber of secrets- but what I found more interesting, which I really loved- was the Belltowers moc they did! I thought r was fantastic- which makes me think, in terms of hogwarts segments- we can still get: the belltowers the west wing the courtyard the owlery that’s a lot left.

we already got a £320 playscale D2C hogwarts. It’s called the great hall, whomping willow, clock tower and Astronomy tower. Legit, if you buy them all, you have a great playscale hogwarts.

My word that would be gorgeous, it’s times like this, that I hope firestar Toys pulls through with some kind of hairpiece or printed dual arms as they’ve been doing with Star Wars. turns out there isn’t a hairpiece in the dark orange that’s more accurate.

The lavender figure looks like Kate Winslet. also there’s dual moulded arms in dark azure, but that doesn’t fit any of the colours on Ron’s torso
