    Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

I say the X-Mansion, if not the Helicarrier. And if it isn't the Helicarrier neither, maybe a Stark tower as a display set with the Grand Central Station (in mini-scale) and the Park Avenue viaduct to place the minifigures. I don't know, I see it kind of obvious, because of the Wolverine mech. I think it's very weird that they did a new Wolverine minifig after so many years just for a very small set. And I don't see the Helicarrier being so iconic to have a 500€ set in 2022. It made sense back then, but the last time it appeared was in Age of Ultron and it was just a cameo. I can see Asgard being very possible, but they already did the Mjolnir. I agree. The Avengers Mansion is kind of niche (but it would be cool to have minifigs of the 60's Avengers tho). Even if they do a comic book version they still can do the Avengers tower from the comics. It isn't too different from the MCU and they can include a lot of comic book characters (like Wolverine). There is aleady a X-Men set this year I think the X Mansion has a better chance than the Baxter Building, by far. Does Disney has anything to say about the sets that LEGO can release? The Daily Bugle was very comic-inspired, and it even includes characters that Disney doesn't want to use at this moment (the Punisher). Also, Hasbro has been releasing a lot of X-Men toys in the last few years, including the Haslab Sentinel (which is something like an UCS set for Hasbro).
  2. Current piece is 8 stud wide. This one is 6.

    Indiana Jones-Speculation & Discussion

That's why I posted it with the question mark. It's hard to build a whip properly without weird techniques like attaching a lot of ropes or something like that. Maybe a lot of this and 2x2 round bricks: https://brickset.com/parts/6327811/design-element-deg-135-w-crosshole-no-1

    Indiana Jones-Speculation & Discussion

If they do a D2C set it would be something like the Hogwarts icons set, with the hat, the golden idol from Raiders, the whip?, the journal from the Last Crusade and maybe the Crystal Skull. I can't see Lego doing an Indiana Jones play-set as a D2C set (even at this point I can't believe we're going to get a new Indiana Jones wave).
  5. Have you seen this piece? I think we will see it used in a new Falcon, either 4+ or a regular set scaled down like the Slave 1. https://brickset.com/parts/design-92832 https://brickset.com/parts/design-92847
  6. This creation is the hideout of some outlaws, where they hide their car and where they're building a powerful armor with the technology that they're stealing. I included a police car with two cops, a veteran officer and a rookie. It's on Lego Ideas, so if you like it, please give me some support https://ideas.lego.com/projects/b337e208-e3fd-4624-b413-6cf99611924d There is a technic system that allow you to open the roof and a lifter that gets the car out of the hideout. You can open the roof turning the wheel, and lift the car with the crank on the top. Here is a video showing how it works:
  7. Hey! I'm really hyped with the new ships from Rogue One. Particularly, with the U-Wing. I made this one in a ¿midi? scale: Mini U-Wing (with instructions) by hachiroku24, en Flickr Mini U-Wing (with instructions) by hachiroku24, en Flickr Mini U-Wing (with instructions) by hachiroku24, en Flickr And I'm making a recreation of the Rogue One Trailer 2, so I needed a U Wing

    Jurassic World 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

I'm still convinced that this year we will see the Jeep Wrangler. They have the Jeep license (the Technic set) and Mattel is going to release a set with the Jeep, Nedry and the dilo.

    Jurassic World 2020 - Rumors & Discussion

It was based on a Wrangler but it wasn't a Wrangler, the front was very different. The original design of the set was posted few pages ago, and you can see how it was clser to a Jeeo Wrangler than the final set: No problem. It's this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqVwBmEYZJs

    Anakin's lightsaber [MOC]

Hi, I recently noticed that the new cillinder piece from the Minions set has a very close diameter to the graflex piece from the lighsaber, so I built one using this piece as a reference. I'm really happy with the result, I hope you enjoy it. I will try to built the blade too. I have an idea that I think it could work but I don't expect it to be very steady tbqh. Video building it:
  15. I really liked it when they showed it at the Celebration. I think it's a well-made character for animation (basic shapes, but very expressive), and I appreciate it a lot in this kind of characters. I wanted to make one in the style of the UCS R2D2 and BB8. I used a dark grey chain for the wheel, which is not exactly accurate, but I prefered playability over accuracy. It works very smooth. 16. This piece in transparent would be perfect as the windscreen of an UCS Naboo fighter, A-Wing or a B-Wing.

    [MOC] Detention block AA23

I built a diorama of the detention block from A new hope. I recreated some escenes on it, but I will post pics of the entire build soon if you want: Detention block AA23 by hachiroku24, en Flickr Detention block AA23 by hachiroku24, en Flickr Detention block AA23 by hachiroku24, en Flickr Detention block AA23 by hachiroku24, en Flickr Detention block AA23 by hachiroku24, en Flickr Detention block AA23 by hachiroku24, en Flickr Here is a small clip playing with the focus:
  18. It's my entry to the Lego Ideas Jurassic Park contest, more photos here: https://ideas.lego.com/challenges/e689dd66-3f42-4f55-b4fa-486a4c7d66c3/application/9b434185-6e70-4b90-8ea2-125bd7d77836 I started this creation with a samurai raptor, but when I finished the dress in black/dark grey this idea came to my mind. 19. And here's a video building it, and showing it from different point of views, etc. The cloth is from the constraction Obi Wan, so it's 100% Lego (for the photo, I changed digitally the colour of the two round 2x2 tiles with hole, from dark tan to sand green, but it looks good enough).
  20. Thank you for sharing it here! I post my mocs here sometimes but I forgot to put this one. I like your mod for the extra room.

    Overwatch 2019 - Rumors & Discussion

    Looks like OW2 is real.
  22. I'm convinced that the reboot of the sequels universe/trilogy is inevitable. We will have eventually a "true Episode VII" with a younger Luke, Leia and Han, and see the new Republic, the Jedi academy, new enemies... I wouldn't worry about Lego and IX underperforming, because Disney will never stop trying until Star Wars becomes as successful as the MCU.

LEGO Speed Champions 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

The problem is that minifigs doesn't have human proportions/scale. For example, Jack Stone minifigures are regular minifigures but closer to the human body shape, and their heads/hands have the same size of a classic minifigure. The minifigs head and hands are clearly made for an 8 studs wide car (or 4 for a single seater), but the body is way shorter. You can have a car in scale with the heigh, or you can have a car in scale with the heads/hands (and width) of the minifigure. When you put a minifigure inside, the only thing you're going to see is the head and the hands so I think that's a good point to prefer the 8 studs cars.
  24. About the 1), this box reminds me to the Spiderman subtheme. Maybe this is another subtheme only focused on Avengers movies/comics. Considering they are using their regular costumes in the box art, I think it's ok to use it.
