Saxon steamship | Preservation of the Dresden steamship fleet

That's fantastic! Your train building skills prepared you well for shipbuilding!

Great work, especially the subtle slope of the boiler. It's nice to see someone building an articulated locomotive that isn't yet another Big Boy. There are so many interesting prototypes like this one that aren't modeled very often - you've certainly done it justice!

Birth of a new Lego city [UPDATE #24 Overpass completed! ]

Very nice city layout! At first I thought the heater was a large building with columns...it blends in well!

    [MOC] Steward's Glen Station

Thank you! I spent a lot of time combining various elements of English place names to come up with one that I liked. I had finally settled on "Abbot's Glen," thinking that sounded English, rural, and generic, and had a nice Medieval sound to it. Unfortunately, checking Google Earth revealed that that name was already in use...by an "inappropriate" resort in Vermont! Meeting someone named Stuart gave me the last bit of inspiration, so I changed it to "Steward's Glen" at the last minute!

Looks excellent - I love the sand green for the boiler and all the attention to detail!
  7. Now that looks like something from the diabolical mind of Sam Sinister, and very much in keeping with the 1920s feel of the theme! Nice work!

What is the best color for GN steam?

I would be interested to see what regular green would look like. Perhaps you could post a side-by-side of your GN atlantic for comparison? You're right that both colors are darker in real life. I've seen an older GN model by @zephyr1934, linked here, that used sand green. It's a surprisingly good match for the faded paint of an engine that has been exposed to the elements. It might be worth a shot.

    Duel at the Bamboo Shrine

That's a great creation - and congratulations on being featured in Brickvault's latest video!
  10. That's incredible! The overall proportions look nice and the interior detailing is great. I don't know, having a game of billiards while the train is moving might make for some interesting wagers!

What a great little scene! That's a clever use of the upside-down bricks for the towers.

Thank you! I agree that a tiled roof would look better. One of my self-imposed constraints with this build was to only use parts that I already had, so I reluctantly stuck with studs. Thank you! Thanks! I think a different roof style would have looked better too, if I had 264 1x2 tiles! @Brandon Pea @zephyr1934 @Jerry McGlade Thank you! Thanks! Every station needs a place to eat and pass the time, because trains are always late! @The Reader @Asper @carebear Thank you!
