[MOC] The Treasure - 10K LEGO Ideas Supporters achieved!
Pdaitabird replied to Piraten's topic in Pirate MOCs
I didn't realize it was Lego at first either! Now that you mention it...how do we know @Piraten didn't just steal the crown jewels from the Tower of London? -

Those look like some good alternatives. My preference would be the one in the middle. But the model already looks great as-is! -

The bird is from one of the HP CMFs. This is a nice build! I like the vegetation and the technique used for the rock. -
Thank you! Thank you!

Here's a fictional English branch line station, set on the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway in the early 1920s. It features interior and exterior lights, a removable roof, and my first fully tiled platform. Trackside view - the switch for the interior light is above the side window. Street side view: The switch for the exterior lights is just below the window. The interior - the brick-built doors open and the central floor plate is removable to access the battery. The phone box is based on the early K1 type, introduced in 1921 (when the L&YR was still extant). And finally, a couple shots with a train. The locomotive is based on the L&YR Class 27. Thanks for looking! Soli Deo Gloria

Nice work! I like the color scheme and all the details.

I like your angled approach! I don't think the gap will be noticeable at all in real bricks. If you're looking for more inspiration, have you seen this technique by @wes_turngrate?

Nice build! The rockwork looks good and the mini ship is fantastic! -
Thanks!

What a lovely diorama! The buildings are brilliant on their own, but the addition of the palms and figures really sell it as a Caribbean colonial town. Nice work!

Nice work! I'm impressed that you were able to capture the tapered boiler at this scale! -

That's a beautiful diorama! What part did you use for the water coming out of the fountain? (Also: thanks for dispelling some of the misconceptions that exist about us Sea Rats!) -
Great job powering such a small vehicle! The detailing looks good too.

This is beautiful! (and I don't even care for diesels)! I thought it was an O-scale model at first - the detailing is that good!

Well, as long as the topic's already been bumped.... Thank you! Thank you! Here's the station integrated into my layout: The whole thing is built on a 4'x4' piece of plywood, which can be stored under the guest bed on those rare occasions when I have company.

Review: All Terrain Trapper

Great review! This was one of my favorite sets back in the day. I've had the same problem with blue round bricks cracking.- 5 replies

After picking up one of the HP CMFs as an impulse buy, I found that it contained a couple parts that I just had to integrate into Lady F. The torso from the little elf guy looked perfect for a 19th century pilot. The sprue that held his two keys together was just the right size to serve as an anchor for a small vessel. I think the stem is a little too thin compared to the flukes, but it works better than any of the brick-built solutions I've tried.

Lady Felicia is a cutter based on those used by harbor pilots in the 19th century. The top part of the hull can detach from the base for use as a waterline model. Many thanks to @kurigan for developing the hull technique and @Captain Green Hair for his rigging tutorial. Thanks for looking! Soli Deo Gloria

That looks great with the custom backgrounds! The last one is my favorite. -
Looking good! The rockwork and interior are especially nice, as well as the cord to control the cannon's recoil. Are those torsos custom printed?

This looks great! I really like the building techniques for the windmill and how you've included the different steps in the refining process. Well done!
