I've been having some stabs at editing my ships into space scenes - with mixed results! Here are two of my MOC edits I did over the last few days, and I'm not very happy with how they turned out. Anyone have any tips for making the photos fit the backgrounds any better?

Those epaulette pieces... that is so perfect. I love seeing this kind of out-of-the-box thinking.

This is just a shot of pure, classic space. Love it.

Hi all! 19 year old lifelong Lego fan and MOC builder here, I'm so excited to share my latest project with you all! This was actually a rather fast build, only took five days. Credit to Marshall Banana for inspiration, the cockpit was certainly inspired by his. This was only built with parts on hand, so unfortunately some compromises had to be made. Enjoyed doing this photo shoot too, pleased with how they came out :) I've got a few more photos on my Flickr, linked at the bottom of the post. Enjoy the photos!!

Shelby GT500 12studs
Crazy bricks replied to gnat_bricks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That looks so cool! Such an underused scale, I think it is because Lego doesn't really do anything at that scale right now. If I remember right though, there may have been some cars released around 2010 at 12 studs wide? Can't remember. -
[M4-23 - Nature is After You] - Yub Nub!

That is stunning, the flimsy and fluid look of the real walker is captured immaculately here. Great job. -
Exciting... Been such a strong field this year, I really think some of these designs are some of the best MOC's I've ever seen. The TIE Defender and the fallen AT-ST are some of the best IMO, but I have also really appreciated everyone's creativity with the custom ships and locations.

My word, give the rest of us a chance at winning! This is spectacular, if I win this category ahead of you I'll feel like a fraud!!

Crazy bricks replied to n1majneb's topic in Watto's Junkyard
This is a really cool design, fantastic concept which is well executed. I especially like the use of the spring loaded shooter as a decorative element! Best of luck in the contest. -
That is really amazing, looks fantastic! The building is stunning, but I must agree that the van is the real masterpiece here. It's so smooth!

That's incredible, looks really amazing. Nobody ever thinks to use those yellow tube-like parts, but you've pulled it off. Great work! -
[ESL - FB] Punto Sur Waterfront
Crazy bricks replied to Yperio_Bricks's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That looks amazing! The detail is incredible, all I would say is it seems like you use a huge amount of the masonry bricks for detail, maybe interspersing other techniques would have worked better? That's just a nitpick however, wish I could build something this good! -

How on earth do those look perfectly done, yet terrifying at the same time! Want to make some miniland figures for my Creator Expert cars, certainly using these as inspiration...
