Lego Ideas Support Thread - Historical/Castle
leafan replied to leafan's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
In my opinion, The Mountain Windmill isn't really Historical or Castle related. That could be modern day in some settings. The Four Swords Inn is fantastic and just what we need. I agree that we should get behind the below Castle in order to stop it dropping off: The reason I stated the Classic Castle by DERBOOR is that it's already on 4844 support (at time of posting) and fits very well into the existing theme. But when it really comes down to it, I'm down for any Castle set being produced. This is a bit abstract but I've added Medieval Puppet Show by Ben.Daly:- 531 replies

Lego Ideas Support Thread - Historical/Castle
leafan replied to leafan's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
So, next on the list to support (based on current amount of votes) is complicated. Technically, it's Historically Accurate Rome by daevead, but that project has virtually made it already and isn't fitting with what most here desire from a new Historical set. Then there's Colosseum (Architecture Style) by SkyWalter, but again, that is not what most want. Next there is the Medieval Blacksmith Shop by LEGO ScapeSculptureDesign @Ben Pitchford , which is a great idea but since the last Blacksmith got approved, I think that rules this out. So that leaves us at Classic Castle by DERBOOR:- 531 replies

Fantastic build. The damaged wall-work is great.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
leafan replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Each to their own I guess; but I really like series 20 and I'm very disappointed that I'm probably not going to be able to build that army of Vikings and Knights. Series 19 was the worst for me. -
Welcome to Eurobricks, @BrickMaje! I like your transformer; great work! Pleased to meet you.

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
leafan replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks to @makoy over in the "Build-a-Minifigure" thread in the Special Themes sub-forum, we now know that there is a new longbow available from the BAM towers or Bricks and Pieces on the Lego Website. Check the bottom right picture: You can see it on Flickr at https://www.flickr.com/photos/80720650@N02/49733011626/ -

@Merlo Welcome to Eurobricks! Always good to see new Pirate fans join our community! -
Oh your photo looks like my floor right now. I recently built that set from a used haul and it's currently undergoing a war against the Imperial soldiers from El Dorado Fortress (from the same haul).

Oooh lucky you. I want to order that but I need it to be on Amazon because I have some vouchers for it haha. I hope to see you over at the Pirate sub-forum. Perhaps you could share your thoughts on the set after you've built it.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

I've never been a big fan of these licensed CMF series, but my boy would love Star Wars so much that I am totally sure it'd sell like hot-cakes. Thanks for this great news @Itaria No Shintaku! -

I think that the roof and baseplate will be largely different; and in the case of the roof, I'm glad. I actually don't like that messy look of the tiling that a lot of Ideas submissions seem to have these days. I also believe that they'll do something to make fans very happy. Perhaps more animals or minifigures than the original entry. I believe that the actual 'Blacksmith' part of the original submission isn't very detailed. This is all we can see: So perhaps the Blacksmith part will be open-air.

Great job! Try copying the image location of your pictures and use the 'insert from URL' button that should be in the bottom right hand corner of a new message box. That'll post the pictures here so that more people can see them.
