    Bricklink questions

I bought ~700 pieces spread over four wanted lists on BrickLink last week. I hoped that my wanted lists would automatically update to state that I know have these pieces but, this hasn't happened. Is there a way to automatically update my wanted lists to show the items I've ordered or am I stuck going through them manually?

[WIP] [MOC] Clone Wars Y wing

Nice work so far. I was thinking the other day that I need a UCS Clone Wars Y-Wing to go with my UCS OT Y-Ying. I'd love to buy instructions off you when you finish the design :) Would it be possible to incorporate a rotating turret like you see at 2:12 in this clip or would that be impractical with Lego?
  3. I really like your designs Jerac, I think one of them will be my first MOC build. I have a couple of questions: 1) I can see that ecmo47 has made some DIY stands. Are instructions available anywhere or can anyone recommend a stand that isn’t made out of Lego? 2) At present Brick Vault sells the instructions for the Tie Fighter, Interceptor, Bomber and Advanced bundled together for a discounted price per ship. Do you know if there are any plans to incorporate your Tie Defender into a multipack along with the other ships?

I'd appreciate the PDF as well if possible. Thanks

    ISD Intimidator in Popular Mechanics

    It's the same for me.
  6. Ah, I didn't realise Raskolnikov had built another even bigger set. That's what happens when you read threads drunk on New Year's Eve :)
  7. Lepin have produced Raskolnikov's set. Someone posted a review on Reddit. Apparently, it was missing a bunch of pieces but would get you most of the way there. Of course, you have all of the ethical issues associated with supporting them...

    Fraud MOC sellers.

This site seems to be similar to the others mentioned. They are selling the Saturn V tower. If memory serves, the tower was submitted to Lego Ideas but was rejected and the designer made the instructions available for free (please correct me if I'm wrong). I looked into building the tower but gave up on the idea as some of the pieces needed are very rare. Where would people stand on the ethics of selling this set? I don't think it's going to cost Lego or the set designer any money so it seems to be as ethical as this sort of thing could be...

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

That looks great. I'd just checked ebay.co.uk, I didn't think to check ebay.com. Thanks.

Does anyone know where I can buy a stand for Anakin's Y-Ying (8037)? I've had a look on Ebay and Wicked Brick but they don't have stands for this specific set.
  11. How does everyone handle buying the pieces for sets like these? A quick play around with the piece buying software give a total cost of around £600 with approximately 50% being P&P. I wouldn't object to paying £300 for the pieces but the P&P pushes it over what is an acceptable cost for me.
  12. Just got the Y-wing and BB-8. I was at the shop 10 mins before opening along with one other person. He didn't bother with the Y-Wing but did get a couple of other Star Wars items presumably so that he could get the BB8 set. Safe to say the Glasgow store probably isn't going to sell out today.
  13. Just got the UCS Slave 1 along with the free Darth Vader pod. I'm planning to pick up the UCS Y-wing on Friday. Do these items tend to sell out on the day of release? I'm planning to buy it in store as opposed to online if that makes any difference.
  14. Hi everyone The Saturn V model got me back into Lego after a 20 year hiatus. In the past few weeks I've spent more money than I should have on Star Wars sets. I've got the UCS Slave 1 and Krennic's shuttle waiting for me and I'm planning to get the UCS Y-wing on Friday.
