Honestly I don’t think the endgame hype would overshadow the release but I do think they want to build up more tension for the go sets release, also after this release of sets I was thinking of making a Harry Potter 2020 group forum thing, even though there were no rumours I was thinking of doing it more for wish list/ want list, would anyone join or should we just talk about it in here? Obviously not until after these sets are released.

I’m just imagining the Horntail to look absolutely rubbish so that when I do see it I have low expectations so it should seem a lot better

Because I was just going to ask, from what you can remember is the first task tent fabric or brick built (I assume fabric but just wanted to ask)

Although the set description doesn’t mention Norbert, it does mention an egg so that could be supposed to be Norbert as an egg

I know this isn’t really related to the 2019 wave but I thought I might mention it while there is a gap between expecto patronum leaking and the next set, does anyone think they will do anything special for 20th anniversary of Harry Potter sets in 2021 although they haven’t produced sets for all the years?

The_collector_leaks still has it up and mb_leaks and Jason.golla but there are more I think

It might not have been from someone who got it from LDD because he got sent it by someone, that person might have then sent it the person who posted it, also how comes LDD has only shown a few people, I’m not too annoyed because I’ll see the actual reveal soon hopefully anyway but why couldn’t he have just sent it to everyone that asked, we aren’t going to do anything with it

I know there is dk tan, I’m not sure it has been specified but Yule ball Ron will most likely have brown or black (I don’t know if it has been revealed) and Harry has black also hermione has blue

By the looks of it the presents are in the house colours (yellow black hufflepuff) (blue grey Ravenclaw) also are you sure the tile is of the marauders map because i originally thought it was a hogwarts letter (not sure why) but also why would hermione have the map? Because it’s hermione I would think it might be the basilisk sheet, also I would be a bit disappointed if it’s the marauders map because a 1 x 2 tile is a bit small if they are using a 2 x 3 for the quibbler

That dragon is definitely not 700-900 pieces at most it is 400 but probably closer to 300

If anyone has seen the ninjago ice dragon thing, do you think the Horntail will look similar to this with a moulded head, or are the wings definitely moulded because i think fabric or thin plastic sheet would work well for curling the Horntail round a tower

I was thinking about Yule ball hermione and they (in my opinion) need to have a new face print because they can’t use the cmf head and also the poa head probably wouldn’t look right

I had to massively reduce the quality of this photo to allow me to upload it but tbh the occamy head piece should look really good as the Horntail, if it has good prints with a brown top and dk tan bottom with an nice eye print (the main thing) then it should be very good and the Horntail does have a bit of a beak shaped nose so the occamy piece is accurate and a new mould would be a waste

I would just like to say that inferi aren’t too far out of the question because they made so many Orcs in the lord of the rings theme and they are very similar in many ways

Although it seems far fetched I hope the fact that we have got a new print for Maxime means that we might get the flying carriage in the future

Not really lucky him, with a cmf it is £3 to buy a new one but it’s a lot more expensive to buy a whole set (if all the pieces are bumped) and even if he/she were to replace only 5 pieces that’s 50p for pieces 10p/piece an postage will most likely be above £2.50 so it going to be more expensive just to buy a few pieces

Ive heard a few people say that pieces in colours we haven’t seen before are taking up some of the budget, am I understanding this wrong because simply using a different coloured plastic in an already made mould shouldn’t take up any of the budget

Not doing leg prints will drastically reduce how nice the figure looks and it can’t cost much to design a new print, I’ve designed figures in a few hours with (if I can boast a tiny bit) close to Lego quality print detail (@hornerbricks, my Fred and George figure I’m not trying to advertise my account I’m just trying to give an example) however if you don’t like the figure you don’t have to buy it, also leg printing wouldn’t make too much difference, but I do think dual moulded brown and black legs would have been good

Did the prelim resemble the 41183 Dragon in any way, or was it closer to the golden dragon, because the 41183 dragon in brown and dark tan would be very close to the part count, with a few rocks and the figures, also did the prelim have a placeholder for the golden egg, if so which piece did they use because it might be the one they use in the actual set
