Where do you find the sets for 30% off in uk? Most I’ve found is 20% at smyths when they did every time you spend £50 on toys you get £10 off

This was discussed a while ago and the problem would be that you would need all of the underground sets to hold up the other ones, you couldn’t just get one of them and put it underneath because nothing would hold up the rest

I think I might go watch ootp and hbp, get myself in the mood for the reveals, whenever they may be, also try and find major scenes or things they have missed in this wave for future waves

If they wanted to cheap out on the snake, to not waste pieces, they could do the nagini mould in trans red, or glittery like the patroni, but I don’t think that would be a very good choice, a basilisk sized one would be good but they would have to make the mixel joints in a new colour and I don’t think they would ever do that, especially not trans red or orange. the water sphere could be made out of the tri fighter canopy pieces (StarWars) and have them printed with a water pattern so it is easier to open and close harry could have a duel sided face if he was included, possessed and normal

The only way I think they could have spells with the current wands it to have a new dual moulded piece that is the wand and the spell together because otherwise I think the wands would be too thin and might break easily

Just dumbledore, Voldemort, maybe Harry, a bit of scenery such as posters or the fountain and some new pieces that can attach on the end of wands to use as spells would be one of my dream sets Exactly what I was thinking :)

In the original Harry Potter 2020 chat, there was lots of prediction lists, and one of the most common idea was this ministry of magic duel, similar to the graveyard set from last year, I hope it is this set because it will be reasonably priced and would be something we haven’t gotten before, but I’m leaning more towards the chamber of secret as what makes most sense with the information we have

I think it could be done for less than 100 but that just depend on the basilisk, if it’s brick built or not, if it was brick built it would have to be on a scale between the lego game and the great hall basilisk but that would use a lot of pieces 2/300+

A recreation of the old set would be a perfect size and would have perfect stuff, the head, statues along the side, pipes in walls, myrtles bathroom, a slide, and the centre pathway, if they managed to fit all of that in a set, along with a brick built or moulded basilisk, it would have to be 100+ though

And if they did want to include a creature, gringotts could have the dragon (ukrainien iron belly?) on top, a bit bigger than the horntail but in white and that wouldn’t add too many pieces but would make the high price point more understandable

Sorry didn’t see that when I was skimming through, but my point still stands that adding a chamber of secrets that in my opinion would have to be a mid to large scale set to be satisfactory would add quite a lot on to the price and then make it the most expensive wave

I don’t think it would be the chamber of secrets, only because this wave is the most expensive so far (I think) so to add another 100+ set that would be a bit extreme, the ministry could be $50 so that would be better but I’m not sure

I read it and it seemed as though everyone was still discussing it, I didn’t even realise it had been confirmed by anyone reliable

I know most of this has probably been discussed, but I haven’t been on here for a while so this is just my opinions. I think there will be five buildings, 3 and a minimum, for more than 5 the building s would have to be very under detailed and I doubt they would sell as well as this is obviously aimed at collectors who would want lots of detail. For the buildings, the ones with considerable screen time are: -gringotts -ollivanders -www -b&b -flourish and blotts these are the shops I think will be included if they do 5 because they are the most recognisable and iconic, however b&b could potentially be a seperate set and still sell well, I think either eeylops owl emporium, Florean Fortescues, madam malkins or quality quidditch supplies would fit in better than b&b as they belong there more and I think would look better. however another thing they could do, is not include interiors to all of the shops, they could do the 5 with the most screen time and do cascades of the other shops, and maybe the wall entrance, or an archway between two of the buildings, leading to nocturn alley (not have anything down there but just as a way to connect a future b&b set

Are you sure it’s the old one? The old one was rubber and I assumed the would have retired that mould by now, the new one also looks a lot less detailed

From what I can see, there are 7 new moulds and a few I’m not sure about 1. Sprout hat 2. Dumbledore hat 3. lion hat 4. Fawkes 5. monster book of monster 6. Bellatrix hair 7. Grip hook hair Not sure about kingsleys hat or myrtles hair, they might be new pieces, or my memory may be faulty however I have noticed that the monster book of monsters is the complete wrong colour, why is it grey on dark flesh (I don’t know the exact colour) the contrast is way too much, considering there is barely a difference between the skin and the fur in the film

I don’t think it is real, it just seems wrong (Harry’s wand looks strange and it doesn’t look like the quality of lego) it looks like whoever made it has just blurred it slightly to make it harder to spot mistakes but I would be happy to be proven wrong

Has anyone noticed that the mandrake is just a 1 x 1 round brick, not the other piece that came in the 1st cmf?

Completely forgot about them, I think the only chance to get them in a cmf series in tuke ball outfits

I think that’s because of how popular Harry Potter is outside of the lego community, but there is more of an over lap between lego and StarWars fans

It would be nice for a bit more variety, and I think they were trying to do that by making cho a bit darker than she is in the films, but tbh there aren’t that many dark characters, the only main ones left are blaise zabini and lavender brown (who wasn’t even dark in half the films) so there is a chance we may get two more figs in the next cmf or final wave of sets, it’s a shame there aren’t any memorable hufflepuff that could be included in future sets. but Justin finch fletchley could be included in a dueling club set similar to the old one with a new Lockhart

I know this isn’t a popular opinion, but I think this is not the best set for 501st, this would be better for normal or obscurer clone squadron. People will buy sets just for the 501st so I don’t think it’s necessary for this set
