    Always a first time to mod a set :) Only technics I have modded so far is 8258 and 9397 to twinwheel. http://www.designer-han.nl/lego/index.htm This set? I plan to buy it. If modding it? Have to see. But still looks interesting, even when some functions are direct hand turning :)

    1989 Batmobile 76139 problem? is that the "Back Order"? Rather a little back order than making XXXX sets and then only selling XX number of sets. LEGO Brick and Pieces + Pick A Brick? B&P Works OK for me, done 2 orders this month. Oddly enohght PAB bugs for me on Firefox, but works on Edge. Only big problems with LEGO Shop page was around the time they redid and made the new system. BrickLink? Most orders I have done have gone thru OK and error fault on deliveries have so far been very low. 1 of the smaller orders, from 1 of the most expensive, there the error % has actually been biggest. Only 1 cancelled order. Selected item, checked freight, 1 option only as far as I remeber and then I paid by instant checkout. Later I get a mail that the item can not be sent by that method and that the freight will be +3x more. So I'll have to pay more, or cancel the order. That was too much difference. So no thank you. It was marked as " Buyer no longer wants to purchase items". Shouldn't it rather have been marked as wrong freight in shop option on item?

    Bricked1980, your mail van is nice looking :) 1 of my favourites did not go to the top 15 either. Lot of nice builds were entered. TJJohn12, your LEGO deliivery truck was in the final 2 of my what to vote for. I apologize, but it was not the 1 I did vote on, but it was close! If yours becomes a set, I will be happy tho :)

    That freaking out part. THAT worries me more than TLG buying Bricklink. Anyone remember Stargate Universe? Part of the failure was that some fans boycotted the series, due to the others ending. That Bricklink users or sellers freak out is the greater danger than TLG, in my opinion.

    Guess why I have used LDD and not jumped on the Studio train? Altho, I can not find Studio's end user agreement or similar anymore? Maybe it was with v1 of it? Would it have been better if Lepin, Lupin or similar would have bought Bricklink? I'm neutral to slightly optimistic about this. If LEGO is against chromed bricks, as some say, why are those still operating thru Bricklink? Realistic weapons, didn't even know that Bricklink has those sellers. Buyers banned from B&P or S@H, could it be due to a few buyers buying so much that it affects other users? You want to buy part xxx, but it is sold out on LEGO. Then you find part xxx from 1 or 2 BL/Ebay etc sellers, but they cost 10x more than from LEGO. Bricklink good case scenario, it works as it does now. Win for LEGO, Win for Bricklink. Worst case? LEGO shut downs Bricklink. But that would be a Lose, Lose scenario. Especially for LEGO. Meanwhile the sellers could go to Brick Owl, for example. Or create a new store.

    Both the Ferrari F8 Tributo and 85 Audi Sport quattro S1 do look nice.

    2004–10 Fiat Multipla facelift, that 1 looks way better than the earlier model. 42109 Rally car, nice in a small package. Not cheap tho. And I am not sure if I have a phone that is compatible with the software needed. Android 6.0 and up? Seems answer is a no.

    Lemons? Yummy! I have been somewhat close to buy a few of the older Speed Champions sets. But this 8 wide? It got way more interesting.

    The facebook group changed name to https://www.facebook.com/groups/legospacebuilds/ I am modding Valerie Roche (Whatsuptoday) and Emmanuel Urquieta (Spacemd)¨s NASA Saturn-V Launch Umbilical Tower to Mobile Launcher Platform 1 as it was on the STS-1 launch. Or as close as I can get it. Most of it done in LDD. But I'll replace my current Tail Service Masts with KingsKnights, but modify them to STS-1. For the internal supports I'll use technic beams/bricks. Test version from LDD can be seen here: Bigger picture here. I did not have the technic bricks at home. Only the beams etc. Yesterday I got the final bricks via bricklink and built it IRL, the structure seems OK. So what is seen in the picture, is built in real life too. Someday I think I'll buy and replace the horizontal beams with bricks instead. And make a few additions so it covers more. Sort of a T structure between the "vents/exhaust holes" of the MLP. Now all three "vents" are in the open area. And more support towards side 3, right of the picture. Unused technic holes on the bricks will be used.
