Well then may I ask, what is a good wave and a bad wave to you? It will be more clear if you could give an example on your taste.

Of course. I would characterise a good wave through it having contemporary, relevant sets at the time of it hitting retail and potential opportunities for good sets not being filled up with the likes of 4+ and Action Battle sets.

  2. A handful of vague codenames have been uncovered. Last time I alluded to being privy to some knowledge, I was all but summarily executed by other forum members so I shall not divulge further with regards to price points, piece counts and the likely corresponding set content as a point of principle. What I will say is that the few sets I have been made aware of through a trusted source seem more positive than negative. Expect more information through the usual channels in due course.

Do you know this, or is this speculation based on the whole 'spicy figure in poe's x-wing' thing? Sorry, it's hard to keep track of who here has inside information sometimes.

Sorry, for some reason I remembered the water speeder looking more like the skiff from the passana set. On close examination it does look different, as the outrigger bits are in the middle and farther out, as well as being more of thrusters than the larger ones on the skiff.

It's not speculation. She is coming in a set soon.

Which desert speeder? To me, the water speeder looks rather unique :shrug_oh_well:

Speaking of Kef Bir and Pasaana: I think the confusion stems from the first batch of EW pictures, where the Orbaks were stated to be native to Pasaana. But now we know that not only is Jannah from Kef Bir, it's also the location of the Death Star II wrack. So the original EW info must be wrong and the Orbaks are native to Kef Bir instead :classic: This makes way more sense anyway since planets with more than one biom are highly unusual for Star Wars.

So Jannah could be included in either a potential water speeder set or an Orbak set. In an ideal world, they'd be combined into one set, like the Encounter on Jakku set that combined the Luggabeast and Unkar Plutt scenes. One can dream...

Jannah is included in another set.

The jet trooper just about confirms that the speeder set is the chase we briefly see in the Episode IX teaser, which would suggest it's also likely a set that will include Poe and Finn.

Is it possible that the AT-ST set in this coming wave will be from The Mandalorian? The two Mandalorian torso leaks so far seem to suggest that we are at least getting one set in the October wave (it would seem awfully early to get leaks of pieces as many as 4-5 months in advance of their anticipated release, if we worked on the assumption that they are in the Mandalorian battle pack due in the January 2020 wave) and now that the speeder set is more or less confirmed to be Episode IX, a Mandalorian set in the Force Friday III wave can realistically only be 75246 (the turret) or the scout walker. That is, unless, there is an additional set somewhere along the line between now and January.

I meant skin colour, I couldn't tell if "black chic" meant a woman in black clothing or one with darker skin.

EXACTLY. Some people here think having a little bit of information makes it ok for them to lord it over us.

I was really hoping I'd only want the set with the rusted at-st to save my wallet, but dang this speeder set is shaping up pretty good from what we've seen in the trailers.

Yeah, so if you have information, post real information or don't post at all. "there's a new leak coming" is not remotely helpful, it just makes it sound like you have info you don't and are choosing to keep it from the forum.

Without wanting to escalate things and swiftly nip it in the bud here, I have to say, I think your attitude leaves a lot to be desired. Your apparent sense of entitlement to be privy to the knowledge of others is quite palpable in all honesty. A shame really, because I get the impression jdubbs knows the score and understands the content of my initial post. If you look back through all my posts on this forum, you will not once see a bad word said about any other member or any indirect attacks at another poster, just attempts to make meaningful contributions and speculate as to what we may have to look forward to as a community. I think I'll stop visiting this forum as much as I do and cease my contributions until the toxicity here runs its course.

I'll just leave you, in particular, with the following from George Orwell's 1984: 'ignorance is strength'. Not to worry, though. Give you enough rope and you'll soon hang yourself, as they say in my part of the world.

    Until next time.

The problem with sharing even a little bit of info here is that it inevitably leads to demands for more and more information, or worse, a slew of skeptical challenges to prove that your info is legit. Makes those with actual intel wary of posting here at all.

Nail on the head. As was said before, don't bite the hand that feeds you. I was simply alluding to the fact that something of interest would likely be out there in the near future. Who, or rather, what it is, I couldn't tell you. I may refrain from doing so again should I find myself in a similar position.

I don't think the Klatooinians were present during Jabba's Palace. There were only two that could be seen during the Sarlaac scene - Kithaba who was previously released as a minifigure (red bandana on the prisoner skiff) and Barada (yellow bandana on the escort skiff)

  10. Don't quite understand the discontent around the Tantive IV. Aesthetically, it's a nice looking set. Seems to be a bit of upset regarding the interior being much like that of the 2009 variation. There is only so much they can do with the shape of the ship. How do we know that there won't be a small playset that replicates the famous corridor scene at some point in the future?

Oh dear! I must say, I have put off buying the imperial officer figs from 75159 because they are quite expensive and 'in case' a ISD was coming as this may have some equal figs, but either way my purse is not happy 😂. Hope you don't get (excuse the pun) left out in the cold for your 'leak'.

I am certainly expecting there to be, if it is indeed coming as the 2HY UCS.

  12. On the subject of the rumoured Kylo's shuttle in the Force Friday III wave, Making Star Wars apparently have new information that Kylo has a new ship for Episode IX that is white with black and red markings. This could potentially be his shuttle, and therefore why we may be getting another one for this film as it could be a new ship design altogether and play a prominent role in the film. Naturally, this should be taken with a pinch of salt at this moment in time, but it could of course be important information going forward with regards to the rumoured Kylo's shuttle set. It could substantiate it to some degree.
