LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

There's reason to believe that these price are legit, yes! Like said earlier in this forum, TLC are probably cutting down on prices because of there recent lack of money from licensed themes such as Prince of Persia and Pirates of the Caribbean.

So i guess its cheaper in places across Europe and the US? Although i do feel sorry for all you Aussies; those seem pretty high prices for you. But do please correct me if im wrong as i do not understand how different your currency is to everywhere else Oh and we have already seen the Ultrabuild Captain America a few pages back Oh and a good way to compare what the prices will be like in the US etc, just look at the DC prices that we found out earlier

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

Their prices are obviously different to the RRP. Not surprised though as a lot of websites do the same. You can tell they aren't official as the prices from the DC collection that we've had for a while now are completely blown out the window compared to these. I mean not only are the names stupid, but I don't think any American would pay $99.99 for the Two Face set. Although, anyone in the US can easily correct me

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

Surprisingly i think TLC are cutting down on prices of the licensed sets next year! For example (I know its a bit off topic), 9491 of the Star Wars theme has 3 new figs and is only $19.99! Not only that, on Bricikpedia's 2012 page, it states the Batcave is $69.99 instead of the $99.99 we heard previously! I hope these are true figures as then in the UK they'll be even cheaper

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

In the UK I have yet to wonder the price of The Batcave. By the larger picture, it seems to state it has around 6?9 pieces. The question Mark is because I cannot see the number there. But if it's around 600 pieces, surely it wouldnt be £70. I have a feeling it will be either £60 or maybe even £50; but by TLC's standards, that seems a little cheap.

Hmmm, is the vehicle in the Batcave set a bike? I can't really tell.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

I had a feeling they would make the theme into a video game Now what did I tell you all about bane and poison ivy coming in a set to represent Batman Forever? That is most likely wear robins costume us from, which is rather divine to be honest

    Ninjago 2012

I really like the new headgear especially the ZX type I dont like Fangdam to be honest as the set he comes in already has a two-headed snake I much rather would have prefered Lasha to him as Lasha only appears in a spinner set I really like his design too, especially him only having one eye, it reminds me of a bounty hunter from something SW would do I guess I'll just have to buy the spinner set, why does it have to be a different plastic...

    Dino 2012

It could be late december as the website we got our recent images from clearly states 'December 2011' Oops my mistake, when I said licensing I didn't mean the word anomalies. I meant that if TLC went with the idea of portals the look couldn't be the exact same as Primeval's anomalies.

    Dino 2012

It could be possible that TLC have taken a leap out of Primeval's book. These dinos could have appeared through something similar to anomalies. Of course it won't be anomalies exactly as that would mean licensing but it could be something very similar.

    Ninjago 2012

There's a lot of evidence pointing towards the hood not being grey. One the torso is the same colour and that's Lord Garmadons torso which is black. Two Lloyd appears in the RattleCopter set and his hood is grey. So unfortunately it will most likely turn out to be black

    Dino 2012

I wouldn't get too excited about the Jake Raines fig. These are most definitely preliminary. In most sets, atleast one fig has a city face with the other heads being overused ones. But don't worry though, I'm sure TLC will treat us too some nice new headpieces

    Dino 2012

The dinosaur on the cover is the only thing blown up. Look at the top of the boxes it confirms the size of the dinos to the minifigs.

    Dino 2012

However, it is the most expensive set and TLG always like to add something unique into it. Although they're new colours for the dinos, the raptor and T-Rex are featured in other sets. Although it could be preliminary, the dino here is just smaller than a minifigures and the Coelophysis is a tiny bit bigger. The arms on the Coelophysis are moveable and the ones here aren't.

    Dino 2012

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the small dinosaur is a veliciraptor as that was their actually size when they were alive. And as said above it's legs are not hollow and it's mouth seems to be different aswell as it's tail.

    Ninjago 2012

I like how they've used buckets as engines on Kai's jumpack in the Rattlecopter set. Also, I remember some mention of 5 snake staffs. I seem to be only able to see 3: a red, a blue and a green

    Ninjago 2012

There's a chance but if you look at the picture with him in, it seems he's still an enemy of the ninjas.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

IMO, the figures suggested to appear in the Batman sets are the ones from the original movies. For instance, people think the riddler will appear with Two Face = Batman Forever. Also people think the biggest set will include Batman, Bruce Wayne, Robin, Bane and Poison Ivy, linking to 'Batman and Robin'.

    Hero Factory 2012

If you look at the backgrounds of the pictures (both heroes and villains) you can tell who will be the main enemy of each individual hero. It seems its like: Furno VS Jawblade Breez VS Thornraxx Rocka VS Black Phantom Surge VS Splitface Evo VS Toxic Reapa If you ask me, its a bit weird putting a hero based around fire in a water environment

    Ninjago 2012

What is the change of appearance meant to represent? E.g. Land vehicle to Water vehicle. What do the transformations of Kai's and Jay's vehicles look like?

    Ninjago 2012

One thing that has got me questioning the set pictures is how come, in the Rattle Copter picture, its shooting snakes towards Lloyd Garmadon instead of Kai. Does this mean Lloyd is fighting on the ninjas side? Edit: Also i translated the writing on Coles vehicle; it means transformation(as we already can guess by the picture). Although i can't seem to tell what it transforms into exactly

I guess your right, it's probably just me looking to deep into things

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

I know this might be some minor detail I've licked up on, but it seem each set (excluding the limited editions) have only 4 minifigures, the cheaper ones and the more expensive ones. I'm just wondering if TLC are doing this to make it so people buy the sets for the main attraction rather than the figs.

    BATMAN 2012

Although it's possible for those Batman sets to be legit, I doubt TLC would make that many Superman sets when the rumoured (most likely true one) is simply Superman VS Lex Luther.
