That's because they look good. The Hulkbuster does not. Exactly, this set will likely be a total failure financially.

Lame. Definitely gonna skip. This awful new Hulkbuster looks disproportionately wide and bulky, way worse than Ben Swolo.

Goliath is typically a goodie though, I see him more as an unwilling antagonist, maybe being forced to make gadgets for ghost. Giant-Man in the trailer is facing down a guy holding on to Hank Pym's building, so he's probably saving himself at the same time as going "hey man, you and your goons chucking me overboard didn't work"
-
I honestly don't think they'll do Goliath in the movie, instead he will probably stick to being a "Hank Pym" type character. I find it more likely that, if they do 2 sets, it will be the van and the sub-atomic submarine.
-
Unless we're getting 2 sets, I really can't see them choosing a generic vehicle design over an interesting one that probably plays an important role in the film. It would be like Lego making a set with the car Doctor Strange crashes at the beginning of Doctor Strange instead of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Yes, they were both major parts of the movie, but they chose the one which mattered more.
-
These are my set predictions: Misc: Will cost £20. Build will probably be the sub-atomic submarine; It's a unique looking vehicle, and will likely play a large part in the movie. Ghost: Printed torso and head. Will use Jedi robe hood in grey. Ant-man: Either a repeat, or almost identical to, the one in the Ant-Man vs Yellowjacket set. Wasp: Ant-man's helmet, but the red is replaced with yellow. Printed head, torso and legs. Wings of some form. Ideally would include a smaller version like Ant-Man in the airport battle set, but I doubt it. All in all, I predict that the set will probably end up disappointing people as they probably won't make any new molds, even though they are clearly needed.
-
If there's only one set, would they really choose a generic vehicle over a subatomic submarine though? Assuming how the sub will probably appear more and be more important to the story, I'd guess that they'd make a set out of it. Ideally, they'd pull a "Spider-Man Homecoming" and make both, the sub featuring Janet, Ant-Man and the Wasp and the van featuring Hank, Ghost, Ant-Man and the Wasp. I doubt they will though.
-
Not from what I saw in the trailer. They were as long as her body. On the subject of the trailer, I expect that if there is a set, it will include that weird sub-atomic submarine thing from the trailer.
-
They'd probably do something like the Parademon wings for her.
-
I'd rather not speculate on this thread, but I do hope that if they make a set they include that suitcase building in some form.

Would Barry's head (from Jurassic World) work well on Killmonger?

Can anyone remember if that leak of yellowjacket's helmet but in transparent red and gunmetal grey was fake or not?

Brother Eye looks very similar to Sauron from the Lego Batman Movie. His main "body" is made from four of part 88293, it seems. From what I've seen of the blurry preliminary images, he's the only good build of the wave. Batman's massive 3 wheeler looks weird, his downsized batwing looks weedy and like it was thrown in as an afterthought. The RC looks like it was compressed lengthwise.

If it's another quinjet, that's an instant skip from me. If any of the figures are good, I'll just bricklink them. If it's the Ark, I'm probably gonna try and get it, although with all the other IW sets coming out I don't know if I will be able to afford it.

Guys, before you judge the Milano for being inaccurate to previous movies, consider that it may be accurate to this one. Do you have any clue how much they'll cost in Britain?

My (probably unwanted) thoughts on the new sets (arranged in order of worst to best): Corvus Glaive attacks How incredibly "meh"; the builds aren't very interesting and the figures are mostly repeats. I'll probably just end up buying Shuri, the mind stone and Corvus on bricklink. The Hulkbuster fight Nice figures in this one. The titular Hulkbuster is an odd one for me, as I like how similar to the Hulk it looks, yet it also annoys me that it's twice the size of the Hulk. Falcon's wings suck, they're too bulky. Proxima's weapon in the film looks similar enough to Aquaman's from the Justice League set, so I'll give it to her. Attack of the Riders The heroes are decent, the villains are good. Black Widow's face is very wrong. Cap's panther-like gauntlets should be in a more panther-like colour, gunmetal grey for instance. I love the Outrider's egg-like dropship, it's charmingly odd looking; I wish there were less gaps though, it really brings it down on my list. Thanos: The Last Battle I rather like the new Milano, it looks less flat than the others. The 2014 version is still the best version, however. Thanos has grown on me, but I still wish they included something on his legs, the lack of detail down there makes him look like he's wearing a onesie. It was a weird choice to give him a sword, but maybe he has one in the movie (or TLG wanted to justify making a new piece for the monoski set). Star Lord having no helmet sucks. Gamora is really good, Iron Man is the best figure in the wave. His jetpack is oversized, but it isn't massively so like it was with Vulture. The Search for Thor's Weapon Huh, turns out his new weapon is the hammer of Ultimate Thor. The forge is alright, nothing special. It'll probably end up lying around somewhere along with the red rock from Ayesha's revenge. I like teenage Groot a lot, although I wish he was bigger. Thor and Rocket are good. What ended up getting this set so high on my list is the pod. I'm a sucker for unusual looking vehicles, so the escape pod in this set really caught my eye. Seriously, I can't describe how much I like that thing. My only concern is that it seems like the back won't be built up as much as I'd hope, although I could (and hopefully am) wrong. Anyway, if the back does end up looking bad, I'll just keep it connected to the Milano full-time. It would be nice to display it separately, though. The Battle in the Sanctum Sanctorum I've never got around to buying a modular building set. I've always wanted to, but I've always seen something else that I consider a higher priority to spend my money on instead. Since this thing is basically a modular inside of my favourite theme featuring amazing minifigures, my problem is solved. It's also worth noting that if it is displayed on the pizzeria side, it could easily pass for a regular modular and therefore fit right in to someone's collection. 10/10, possibly the best superhero set Lego has ever made; a must-buy. If anyone actually read this, thank you for enduring my rambling observations.

Wow, I wasn't aware the show was this divisive, all I really see about it online is criticism. I will admit, it's not the worst thing that's currently on Cartoon Network (unless Supernoobs was cancelled), and it is sometimes fairly enjoyable, but it is usually pretty bad. Back on topic, @Digger of Bricks raises a good point- the figures would probably look like/be the ones from dimensions, and therefore I'd consider it likely that they wouldn't sell very well. They don't really blend in with normal DC figures, which, to me at least, makes them undesirable.

Yes there was a helmet mold, you can see it if you look him up on Google images.

Cull Obsidian just leaked. I like him and his new mold, I just wish they represented the scaly look that he has in the movie. I'm not sure if his colour is accurate; he looks greener in the statue, whereas here he's the same colour as his comic book counterpart. All in all, it's a really good bigfig.

I'm conflicted about this. On one hand, it really annoys me to know that they put more effort into a side villain who's very likely to barely appear and get killed off halfway through the movie than the main villain of 2 movies, but on the other hand I'm glad that they seemed to actually put in lots of effort for at least one of the figures in this line.

The Milano set mentions "2 bubble shooters," I assume they are that as well.

Someone has posted an image to Instagram that shows Proxima Midnight holding a modified trident. I assume this means that she will come with a non modified one in the set.

First of all, I'd like to wish you all a happy new year. Second, I'd like to express how much I like the new Gamora. She finally has an accurate costume, as well as leg printing (a rarity for this range).
