  1. Why do people keep mentioning a sash? This version of the character doesn't have one, so why does it keep being brought up?
  2. As soon as that old quinjet appeared briefly in the trailer, I KNEW that was going to be the vehicle. The build itself is alright, I feel like it should be longer than it is. It's definitely a better space quinjet than the similarly coloured space quinjet in the other set with Captain Marvel in it. 7/10. Nick is meh. He re-uses Justice League Cyborg's head, which sucks, as it means he won't have a 1 eyed alternate face. The torso isn't particularly interesting. It would be far better if it were a messy, "beat up" version of the same thing, imo. He's really a wasted spot, Jude Law's "definitely, totally not Yon-Rogg, please believe me guys" should've been in the set instead. 4/10. Captain Marvel feels incomplete, but MCU Spider-Man's legs should improve her. I had a feeling that they'd use that hair, and it doesn't look too bad, so I'm fine with that. Qi'ra's (love interest from Solo) head was a weird choice, but it's an OK fit I guess? They really should've done more with this fig. 6/10. The Thalmor are right, Talos sucks. Head extension isn't really accurate and is missing much needed printing, same with the legs. It just looks far, far too incomplete. 3/10. Goose is a garbage replacement for the much beloved god amongst Flerken, Chewie. What a terrible character, bet it doesn't even have a pocket universe in its mouth. Bah, pathetic. 0/10.
  3. Any news on the Infinity War Bricktober set's uk release date yet?
  4. I've done some research. The person who made the edits was Toughkid446blox on brickipedia, on the 5th of November. Here's a link to the edit. Of the 5 edits they've made, 4 are related to these supposed sets, and 1 is related to an apparent James Bond set. Honestly, this looks like someone imagining their ideal sets, I don't think that the rumours have any weight.
  5. In fairness, every theme seems to be suffering, except for Star Wars. There's quite a lack of arm and leg printing, even in the new Overwatch theme, plus Overwatch's amount of new molds is typical of a new theme with very different looking elements. Even the Lego Movie 2 is suffering; Batman has a reused head, no duel molded arms and the colouring looks inaccurate to me.
  6. Oh my god, would it have killed them to at least print a bit on the genie head extension? I can live without arm or leg printing, but that cutoff at the top of his head is painful. On an unrelated note, is there any news on the Infinity War bricktober pack and whether it's being released in the uk?
  7. All I want is for them to give Thanos one of his many vehicles. We have several quinjets, but do we have a Q ship? Do we have Sanctuary II? Do we even have his chair? No, we don't.
  8. Hahaha, they finally made a Spider-Buggy! If only we could get one in a regular set too.
  9. On the one hand, a Spider-Man wave could lead to some heroes and villains I've been wanting for a while (classic Spider-Man and Electro with a silly helmet, anyone?), on the other hand this will probably result in a bunch of sets where an awkward Spider-Vehicle is shoehorned in. It's annoying with the DC sets and their random Bat-Vehicles, but at least it actually makes sense there.
  10. It has precedent. (http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Spider-Cycle) In the show, SHIELD attached web shooters to the side of a flying bike and called it a day.
  11. Part of me thinks that this set only exists so people can make a quick and easy Superior Spider-Man custom. Think about it: Spider-Man's head, Miles's body and legs and Carnage's tentacles would make a figure that's almost identical to the character.
  12. Would you mind describing it?
  13. Aaahhh, Into the Spiderverse looks so good! It's a real shame that we won't get any sets based on it, it looks so fresh, creative, vibrant and original, and could've lead to some really colourful and interesting sets. It's also a real shame that there doesn't appear to be a set with Kingpin, seeing how Kingpin appears to be the main villain of that film (or at least the triggerer of the plot). Missed opportunities, Lego.

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

Probably a mini Benatar or keychain Groot
  15. So theres no chance of Goblin being a smaller Ultimate Green Goblin, Spiderverse Green Goblin or 2099 Green Goblin? Please, anything other than another generic goblin. (Images)
  16. What an unimpressive wave. Every single figure that appeared before has recieved a downgrade, minus sandman. Hopefully 2099 and Sandman are in a cheap set together, so I won't have to waste money on mediocre figures I already have a variant of. That being said, I might get the Venom mech for Gwen & the mech. Probably won't. Green Goblin sounds disappointing too. They had the opportunity to do the terrifying dragon-esque Ultimate Green Goblin to tie in with the Spiderverse movie, yet instead they opted to make the 3rd "classic" goblin fig in a row.

    Purist Superhero Figures

Has anyone considered using this piece for Mysterio's head?
  18. Yep, 2 sets looks incredibly likely to me since the movie has 2 main locations, many characters and it's the first female-lead and directed MCU movie. I believe Lego will want to cash in on those facts. For sets, I assume we'd get a set similar to one of the Ragnarok ones, with a few of the Kree strikeforce and some villains. There would probably also be a cheaper one with Carol wearing red and blue that is set on earth, presumably also with Nick Fury and Talos in it, similar to the Black Panther rhino set.

We still haven't got a lego Galactus, or a Silver Surfer, or the Fantastic 4, all major players in the first marvel game.

This, but the head would still have grey visible so it's not too great. It's the same with most hairpieces.

    Purist Superhero Figures

I'm trying to make a purist bigfig juggernaut inspired by @astig's amazing work, such as this. I mostly have it down, but I can't find any good minifigure helmets (besides maybe this, but I don't have it so I haven't tested it) or think of any good brickbuilt helmets to give him. Does anyone have any ideas? Here's a WIP of the fig. Sorry for the low quality photography, and for everything being dusty.

Thanks for your suggestions. These are amazing. That Deadpool is the best purist I've seen.

    Purist Superhero Figures

I'm trying to make Rusty Collins from Deadpool 2. I'm thinking this hair, this torso or maybe this one, and short legs. No idea what to use for the head, all flesh and dark flesh heads I can find on brickowl look too happy.

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation

I'm predicting 2 Captain Marvel sets. This is just speculation. Set 1: A Skrull location. Includes red, white and blue Captain Marvel, Captain Mar-vell, a Skrull and Ben Mendelsohn's character, "the Skrull leader". Set 2: Spaceship. Includes kree suit Captain Marvel, Ronan, Korath and a Kree warrior. This probably won't be the truth, but the idea of there being 1 Skrull set and 1 Kree set seems likely to me.

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

It is likely that we'll get M'Baku and Nebula figures for Avengers 4, as they will probably play a major part in the movie considering how M'Baku is the best candidate for king since the snap and how the source comic ends.
