The future of Back to the Future
adwind replied to 1980-Something-Space-Guy's topic in LEGO Licensed
I only hope that Mike Psiaki is the designer for this upcoming set (if it's true at all)... I think Dave's (sorry don't remember the second name) Delorian which is on Brick Vaults store is absolutely gorgeous and I really really hope the official one will be at least at the same level! -
Guys, does anyone know the right ratio for contest photos? The site looks to be down and I really want to start my rendering before going to sleep :)
-
Ross is my favorite character, I would love to see him in his salmon (not pink!) shirt ha-ha
-
Well at least they haven't touched existing projects! :)
-
I guess this relates only to your main image, doesn't it?
-
Oh no, the bat repair shops was my second favorite project! :( Following this ratio, the Season in Time will be around 300$? Oh wow
-
My guess is that only small/medium size sets will be successfully crowdfunded. I was hoping the Food Stands are there - I'm sure it would get all 5000 preorder spots in a heart bit!
-
Looks like they just got Charlie and the Chocolate factory back to voting

They give 1% royalties to Ideas fan designers aside of 10 copies I'm happy the Calendar by Brent Waller is there!
-
Those are a recolor. Those tubes first appeared in black in Mickey and Minnie big figures set in 2020 I guess
-
If the set sells well there's also a chance for follow up sets... Would be nice to see the owl, Kanga Roo and Christopher too :)
-
Is this a confirmed price? Would be nice to have it for around the same price as "Friends"
-
Love it! Minifigures are simply amazing, but yeah I agree that Winnie's legs would look way better if they were short articulated
-
I'm not the expert in this field, maybe you're right, but in my understanding using the name of Naruto in anything related would be a violation... but that's my guess only! Anyway, I think you should keep on building and leave this case behind, people definitely appreciate your designs and skills!
-
I am very sorry this happened to your design! I should admit that you probably wouldn't be able to make any profit of your idea anyway since it's an IP. Unless you buy a license from IP owner.

Not necessarily actually
-
Hi everyone! Here is my little weakness... well actually two of them - Lego and Volkswagen campers :) Few months ago I designed this camper with LDD and Studio 2.0 and finally after few redesigns and parts ordering processes it's on my shelf! There's still no good solution for the sliding door in such a small space (without pinching the interior) but since it's more a display piece - it works for me. Also the back door needs a bit different proportions but I chose functionality and glass presence rather than more suitable (in terms of proportions) Item No: 4214 :)
-
I don't think moderators would remove something unless there's a clear violation of rules. There's probably something we just don't see or know, maybe the number of pieces wasn't the issue
-
Yeah, it pretty weird, but I guess it was made for a reason...
-
At the same time, I can't say the Tree House or Pirate Bay are 100% display pieces. Honestly I stopped trying to predict who will be approved - it's just the matter of chance and pretty unpredictable :)
-
Not a big deal to redesign it
-
I'm feeling like the violin that's gathering support now will ended up as an approved idea. Even taking into account there are 2 musical instruments already in the series.
-
This was unpredictable
-
They will continue to approve 0-3 projects per review no matter how big it is... That's it :) The only thing I'm sorry about is that now projects in review actually compete with each other and we might never see some great ideas that could potentially go through with smaller amount of competitors back in the days.
