    MOC: Crown Castle

Hello! It took me two weeks to complete my biggest MOC, Crown Castle. It is made of 3 Creator Houses (each discounted to $12 at Target, woohoo!), bricks from other sets, and a couple of trips to the LEGO Pick-A-Brick. This is not the typical medieval castle, for I tend to have a thing for Disney style *wub* . I was planning to enter this for CCV, but I was too late. Darn it, Eastern Time! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. Oh yea, I chose to include Dwarves' Mine as part of the MOC in honor of such a fantastic (pun intended) set. Brickshelf when public.

    MOC: Crown Castle

Thank you for the compliments! *sweet* Yea, somehow everything I build has an oriental twist to it. I have thought of making a fantasy Asian castle, but then I was watching Lord of the Rings while building it, so it ended up being more European. Maybe that is why it reminds you of Isengard, Col. Whipstick. :-D However, I admit the castle is vacant... When I do finish the interior and populate it, I'll post an update (which would take a long time because back to school I go). And I will remember to deeplink, Hinckley! ;-)
  3. You laughed?! I had to cover my eyes... *sad* (Note that this movie is rated R and I highly suggest children shouldn't tag along). Anyway, I like the details. It really captures the slaughtering. Oh, you also included the window! Wow, I'm impressed. Perhaps an oven and Mrs. Lovette(?) too?

    Minifig Observation.....

I always thought of the face as that of some sea man, perhaps Poseidon or Triton. Is it me, or does Anakin's new hair piece reminds you of Zac Efron? *wacko*

Where is 7036 Dwarves Mine From S@H???

I went to the LEGO store at Downtown Disney at Anaheim today. There were hundreds of the Dwarves Mine sets, and I really mean hundreds! So if anyone is going to Disneyland on vacation, you know where to check... ;-)

    Haunted Mansion Contest- Entries

Hello, everybody! This is my first post. Hearing about the Disney Haunted Mansion contest, I just had to come out of the shadows and reveal myself! :-D My scene is a depiction of "the attic" where ax-murderess Constance lonely dwells. Minifigures include two guests, two castmembers (in green), and "two" ghosts. The set uses a special effect known as the Pepper's ghost effect, which uses a glass screen to reflect a projection of Constance onto another part of the room. Here is an aerial view of how the figures are positioned: The figure on the top is a a "blank" manequin holding an ax... ...and the figure on the right is the "projection" manequin... Under the special effect, the two models merge to become one! *skull* Brickshelf Gallery
