Hey guys, I'm back! Thanks for keeping this topic alive! Will try to cover up all the missing member picks but it certainly is going to take time... [MOC] small street piece

Yet another MOC proving that a MOC doesn't need to be huge to be brilliant. The cobblestone itself is great but using a wheel as a fence is a fantastic idea! Keep it up!

    [MOC] Submarine House

Definitely my favorite MOC by you to date! I'm a big fun of the arches and this modular uses so many of them! The white part of the ground floor looks so clean and smooth, and the surviving parts from that old stone building as you call it are working amazingly here as well as the Minecraft 2x2 wedge plates! The windows with their shutters on the first floor are simply fantastic as is the roof! While I dig all the arches on the roof, I'm not sure about the look of the gold jumper plates above the mudguard pieces and the stacked three blue 1x4 bricks. I would prefer it less colored...Another advice I'd give would be to put your modulars in Flickr groups like Cafe Corner, LEGO, Lego Architecture and Design, AFOL 16+, Awesome Lego Stuff!, Everything LEGO, Lego!Lego!Lego!, Lego Freaks, Eurobricks Flickr group (and there much more groups to discover)... Otherwise, it's not easy to be really discovered unless one of your MOCs is featured somewhere important like the brothers brick for example. Anyway, keep up the amazing work!

    Inspirational Modular and Castle MOCs

Sorry for all this sudden inactivity. Some important and unexpected projects emerged, and unfortunately I need to stop making member picks for some days. Wish I had something more useful to add. However, this topic is definitely not abandoned! Would be great some people post their favorite MOCs during my inactivity! Kind of...

I spotted this tiny detail which was the reason this modular became one of my all time favorites! Haha! You're the best! That's something I haven't noticed before...

    Inspirational Modular and Castle MOCs

Yes, finally I'm able to start highlighting MOCs again (and to post more)! As it would take a crazy time to make fifteen member picks in only one day, I'll divide it a little bit but I promise I'll cover all I need to because you guys deserve it! Please keep up the interesting discussion by the way! I respect and somehow agree a bit too. His three first modulars were brilliant and were brilliantly detailed but his models never felt over cramped to me. Even if his fourth modular is not really my cup of tea, some details like the wonderful brick-built lettering and the film makes it look nice to me. It's more focused on the interior than the exterior in my opinion. To be honest, I don't like so much the direction he has taken with his three latest modulars: These all have some nice things but I'm not a big fan of the color schemes of his fifth and sixth modulars and his latest is both over cramped, misses one floor and badly managed in terms of color as you say. However, I love his brick-built on these three modulars, especially on the Oscar's Wheels! Bricky_Brick's modulars are still probably some of the best on Ideas though, considering the MOC quality level over there... I can't respond to this better than yourself! And I think this is somewhat normal as italovergnat mentioned somewhere that he was an architect if I'm not mistaken. Can't wait to see it! Thanks guys! Looking forward to the building experience, which, man, not going to be that easy! I can say it's probably going to have a lot more tricky techniques than what you could think...
  11. Woah, what a mind-blowing display! Wonderful job to each one of you who worked in this incredible display! It's so nice to know we have such wonderful MOCers on here and just unbelievable how easy it's to contact with them if wanted! It's really difficult to choose my favorite part, each part of the tree has something unique! Keep up the incredible work both in MOCing and in being part/moderating this wonderful forum!

    Inspirational Modular and Castle MOCs

You're very welcome! It's a pleasure to hear a thank you comment! BTW, I think you should really add your great MOCs to some Flickr groups to make them more popular... Woah, now that's a real "member" picks by @Digger of Bricks! I agree that we had some nice modulars these days on Ideas. Wow, these are brilliant! Thanks so much! It really means a lot to hear this from such a talented MOCer like you! Me too! Wish the MOCer himself liked it too... The second. I precisely responded to this in the good news part... BTW, glad to see you switched to "member" picks as well... Don't worry @Bricked1980, I really don't want to abandon this topic! This topic encourages me to search and find more great MOCs, all the MOCs posted here inspired and inspires me (and I hope some others) so much that I finally started to plan my first MOC in a serious way, even started making a techniques and part usages list and have almost completeled the whole model in my mind! What I can say about it if nothing changes is that it's (obviously) going to be a building probably a bit bigger than the normal minifig-scale but they'll still likely fit, will have a creative concept, and will have some very tricky techniques which makes it impossible to design it digitally so I'm going to need directly real bricks. I'll hopefully start designing it in august. Great! Look forward to seeing it! Nice to hear! Certainly look forward to seeing what you'll highlight then!

    Inspirational Modular and Castle MOCs

Bad news: Don't have enough time to make "member" picks... I know, you may be seeing me faving some photos from time to time over on Flickr when I have a couple of minutes but I need my computer to make "member" picks which I don't have always with me... Maybe while @Pandora is here, she can make real "staff" picks in my place... Good news: This busy period will finish this weekend, so I'll hopefully be able to start to post "member" picks more regularly! I also want to contribute to other topics, not only this one. BTW, you post some great MOCs, @Digger of Bricks, keep it up! Could've probably highlight a few modulars rather than writing this...

    [MOC] House in Vilnius

Looks much more convincing than the first version! I especially love the way you used the cheese slopes, both on the roof and on the foliage. However, I agree with @pinioncorp about the color scheme. And I'd personally have built this in a bit larger scale to capture some details in a more realistic way but you've done a great job capturing the essential look of the building in a such small scale! Also, I'd be quite interested in hearing @thomassio's opinions (I invite you to look at his Flickr photostream or to the spoilers below to understand why) if he wants to give (and you want to know) of course... Anyway, keep up the good work!

Welcome officially to EB, @ranghaal! Your MOCs are simply incredible and you inspire me with each of your builds! I started to create a MOC ideas list with all the techniques and part usages I want to use in my MOCs and your stuff gave me so many ideas!

    [MOC]Guardyloo - Medieval sanitation

Another wonderful MOC! Everything is brilliant from bottom to top. The shutters, the pattern above the windows and the door should be some of my favorite bits! I also really love how you mix modulex with normal bricks in your MOCs. This is a great example for showing people that a MOC doesn't need to be huge to be impressive! Keep up the incredible work!

    [MOC] Silhouettes

You're a true genius, sir! I knew these were built out of Lego when I saw these on your Flickr as I know you, but someone who doesn't know you wouldn't think these are made out of Lego, maybe except the female portrait. I'm eagerly waiting for the day you'll have your MOC expert tag you highly deserve! Perhaps a small shoutout to @Rufus would make the job...

Hey guys, I unfortunately won't able to do "member" picks this evening due to the lack of time... Don't worry, it won't take long ... I'm glad you like the "member" picks, @Digger of Bricks! Oh, you make me wonder, @Bricked1980! Is it a modular or something else?

Thanks! I also was thinking you could add them yourself until the day I saw the EB Members Title Archive topic... If there's someone whose micro-scale builds I'm interested in, it's jeff_works. He never ceases to wow me! Nice to hear, can't wait to see how it looks like!
