    New Flickr limits

Just in time :( No explanations, see below, I was working on the message that I am or was going to send to someone: “Yes, so, I feel like the LEGO community on Flickr started to write a lot fewer comments than they used to and the average number of faves have gone down, especially some MOCers now get significantly less faves than they used to get... According to what I see, the FoL community is slowly going towards Instagram. Becoming less active on Flickr/becoming more active on Instagram has both positive and negative factors in my opinion. Below is a small list I created about this that I’m thinking about sharing with the whole community: Pros: -You meet with people outside the LEGO community. -People are more active on Instagram. -Instagram is more popular than Flickr (in general). -Much easier to become popular. -Almost everybody knows they need to put hashtags to become popular on Instagram hashtags unlike adding photos to groups on Flickr. Cons: (Still a WIP) -Low resolution -The higher quality of fans on Flickr -LEGO community is more spread out on Instagram. -Flickr is hosting probably ten thousands of MOCs so it would be a great shame to slowly abandon this treasury. Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with people sharing their work on Instagram, what saddens me is the lack of activity on Flickr. I think it would be great if we used both equally!” The amount of interest I was going to get with my future MOCs, seeing all the amazing MOCs everybody came up with and seeing all the fun that FoL community had was what encouraged me to be a Lego fan. That’s a shame. On the other hand, 1000 photos is still a lot so a big part of the community might remain to be here but Flickr wouldn’t be same with some of you above and others who will migrate.

    Casualties of War

This is so brilliant, made my day when I first saw it on Flickr! I always adored your foliage and always hoped that one day you would make a minifig scaled architecture! No need to say, that thatched roof is way too amazing and your foliage is beyond Lego as always! Keep it up!
  3. Nice little build, I especially like the color scheme, aqueduct and your photography as always. Keep it up!

    Gardar's Cloth Goods

Incredible build, the rock-work is obviously spot-on and it fits really well with the rest of the MOC! This is probably one of my all time favorite MOCs! Keep the amazing work up!

    Inspirational Modular and Castle MOCs

Hey guys, long time no see. I might just be back... First of all, many thanks for contributing to this topic, you guys shared some amazing modulars during the period I was inactive! Sorry for the inactivity. I guess I had Eurobricks dark ages... Are there anybody still interested in this topic? I have a few things to share even though I can’t promise to post everyday as I used to. And hope you don’t mind that I revived this topic.

    Facade with Modulex

Nice looking modular with a great color scheme, I really love the way you combined Modulex and System. I recommend you to add this to Flickr groups as I think it deserves to be more popular! Keep it up!

[MOC] Modular Hats Shop & Old Inn

Lovely modular, the color scheme of the Hat Shop is gorgeous, I may have to borrow that! I also dig the roofs of both buildings. Keep it up!

    MOC: Firehouse "Engine Company 5"

I'm loving this! The road and the sidewalk look so smooth. The GB Firehouse looks awesome too, I really love the SNOT windows, the thinner masonry effect around them and the orange plate work which adds so much to the look! Great photography skills you have as well, the reflection make look this MOC even more gorgeous! Keep up the wonderful work!

[MOC] Art Nouveau Modular Corner Building

Ooh, this thing is so cute and elegant! My favorite MOC by you to date! I love how this could also work as a half width non-corner modular if you don’t want it to be a corner building! The ground floor looks really elegant with the black and gold color scheme. The glass awning/canopy is pretty nice even if it’s not too similar to the real Art Nouveau ones. I agree that the first floor would also work without the mosaic wall but I really love the interesting effect it gives so I personally prefer it the way you’ve done it, especially with the pastel colors it looks just so amazing! All the roof section is incredible, especially with the glass skylight! The interior is amazing as well- I love the machine that turns everything to gold. Anyway, keep your incredible work up! P.S. Does every piece exist in the colors you used? There are some I wasn’t aware of! Also really nice to hear that we’ll see more MOCs in Art Nouveau!

    Inspirational Modular and Castle MOCs

Damn, these are simply incredible! Thanks so much for such a great comment! Don't hesitate looking at the older pages! It's the one below! One of my favorite MOCs that got featured on this topic... Thanks for reminding it to me! And this should be the reason it seemed awfully familiar to you : Both of these are amazing. @Aliencat is one of my all time favorite MOCers and I featured his work a couple of times so I'm not surprised you and @Barthezz Brick also love his work! Some of my favorites by him: Vianen City Hall by Aliencat!, on Flickr George Lives 1 by Aliencat!, on Flickr Winter Post Office by Aliencat!, on Flickr And this MOC by him is one of the first MOCs I've ever seen and loved, even before joining Eurobricks: 666 Market Street 1 by Aliencat!, on Flickr And another MOCer that may be of interest to @Aliencat fans is @Majkel. That fellow also has some incredible rundown buildings! Some of my favorites below: IMG_5418 by Mikael Berglund, on Flickr IMG_5420 by Mikael Berglund, on Flickr 1 by Mikael Berglund, on Flickr IMG_5439 by Mikael Berglund, on Flickr Christmas2014_pic1 by Mikael Berglund, on Flickr Millions of thanks to @thomassio (another fantastic MOCer by the way) as I wouldn't have discovered @Majkel's work without his post! My favorites by @thomassio below: Teteven Hotel in Russe by Utanapishtim, on Flickr Modular Moc Madness Contest 2014 by Utanapishtim, on Flickr Aachen by Utanapishtim, on Flickr Thanks so much! This really means a lot to me as you have done some incredible builds: A Cold Day In Hell 1 by Barthezz Brick by Barthezz Brick, on Flickr I Saw Spider-Man Today - by Barthezz Brick 1 by Barthezz Brick, on Flickr Game of Thrones - Bear and the Maiden Fair - by Barthezz Brick 1 by Barthezz Brick, on Flickr He recently rendered it : Hope this somewhat covers the staff member picks I couldn't do! This is amazing! One of the best architectural projects submitted to Ideas this year, in my opinion!

    [MOC] Rat Rod - Sedan

Both of these rat rods are amazing, they're packed with some great details and part usages. I really love their shaping, their engine and the tires! I somehow feel special for the Coupé, I think it's thanks to its wonderful color scheme and incredible shaping, especially the backside! However, I think great MOCer like you deserves to be more popular, so I'd recommend you to add your MOCs into more Flickr groups... Anyway, keep your incredible work up!

What a creative idea to make a MOC of, I believe that I've never seen something like this before! There are some great micro builds here, I especially like the biplane and the boat! Keep it up!

    [MOC] Baroque Cathedral

That's a really impressive cathedral you designed, @Giacinto Consiglio! It's always difficult to make domes from Lego and yours works perfectly. There are some lovely details on the façade as well. Regarding what to improve, I agree with @paupadros that the fountain is a bit small. I also wonder if it would look better with more gold... Anyway, keep the amazing work up! P.S. How’s that Art Nouveau modular going? I just can’t forget about it!
