Very comprehensive! You raise a lot of good points. I'll probably end up switching out the villains you mentioned, as I do already own the previous versions of them. -

It does seem like LEGO is trying to maintain some consistently between movie and comic/game face prints when possible. MCU and comics Peter Parker share the same face print, (so do MCU and comics Vulture for that matter). A lot of the Square Enix Avengers shared face prints with their MCU counterparts. Presumably, the sets for No Way Home will feature MJ (and possibly Ned, whose comic counterpart was also not included in the Bugle despite being a prominent Bugle reporter). I can also guess that May, Jameson and Betty being present in the Bugle probably means their MCU counterparts probably won't be featured in the No Way Home sets. -

Anyone plan on modifying any of the figures when they get the Bugle? I feel like civilian Gwen would be greatly improved with the minidoll Supergirl hairpiece and the legs from Daphne or Age of Ultron Scarlet Witch. -

It will definitely be interesting to see how the comic Spider-Man sets next year turn out. With the Into the Spider-Verse sequel coming out, I hope LEGO finally gets around to making a Peni Parker with the SP//dr mech (especially with how much LEGO seems to like making mech sets). I also hope that LEGO makes full use of the new bigfig design. If Kingpin specifically has to be in a Daredevil-themed set, it could take a while to get him, but Rhino shouldn't be too difficult for LEGO to make. They could probably get away with using the hollow stud on top of the new bigfig head to attach a horn if they don't want to make a new bigfig helmet mold for him. I'm sure LEGO will want to include another Venom in a set, so a bigfig version would be a nice change of pace. The new bigfig design has those back studs that would be perfect for attaching symbiote tentacles. I assume we could get a MCU Electro minifigure late this year or early next year. Maybe we could have a comic Electro by 2023 assuming a pattern similar to the release of Mysterio's minifigures. -

Now that could be an interesting set that would be a great way to get a bunch of Defenders related characters. I could see an ideal lineup for that set consisting of: Heroes: Spider-Man, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing Villains: Kingpin, Bullseye, The Spot, Stilt-Man, Elektra, 2 Hand Ninjas (As much as I would like to see someone like Purple Man or Typhoid Mary get a minifigure, I'm not sure that LEGO would go that route, even for a 18+ set) Civilians: Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, Malcolm Powder I'd be very quick to buy a set with that kind of lineup. -

I don't have any other proper modulars, but I'll probably display the Sanctum Santorum Showdown next to it. I'll have to see if I can find a good way to fit the Bridge Battle in there as well. Taking into account the fact that the Bugle has 25 minifigures, split between 8 heroes, 7 villains, and 10 civilians, what kind of numbers and ratios would you like to see in a potential Oscorp Tower or Fisk Tower D2C? Personally, I don't think they need to have as many minifigures if so many of them are either going to be repeats or only use preexisting prints. It works well enough for the Bugle, but I could see a second D2C lowering the minifigure total down to somewhere between 14-18, perhaps with a less elaborate build to put a set at a somewhat lower pricepoint, considering Oscorp Tower and Fisk Tower aren't as iconic as the Bugle. -

I hope even more now that these easter eggs in the set will be followed up on in future waves. Electro, Rhino, Kingpin, Morbius, Lizard, Jackal and possibly Man-Wolf (assuming that the "LEGO MAN WALKS ON THE MOON" newspaper refers to John Jameson) would be a waste not to get at some point. -

Lego_fulcrum reports a Rhino newspaper sticker being included as a Easter egg. Hopefully a hint for Rhino in a future set. -

If he's not included in this set, I wonder if he'll be in the next wave of regular sets or perhaps a second Spider-Man D2C. I also hope that Curt Connors and Miles Warren being on the screen leads to Lizard and Jackal figures showing up later. It would be a shame if this was the most representation those characters got from LEGO. -

I'm assuming that Miles would be the Mech version if he's included. If so, I would be glad I didn't buy that set yet. Same with Spider-Ham and the Venomosaurus set. I still predict a civilian Miles will also be included. In that scenario, I hope the remaining unknown civilians are all Bugle workers. We'll need as many as possible to populate the build's interior. -

I do think the minifigure selection seems very solid. 25 minifigures in a $300 Marvel D2C? I wouldn't have guessed that. All these previously unmade heroes? A pleasant surprise! My only complaint is that this set doesn't really fix the issue this line has with constantly reusing the same villains. The only new villain here is Black Cat, a character who only sometimes counts as a villain. I can only hope that the comic sets next year start including a better variety of villains, otherwise they're going to look extra underwhelming after how much effort was put into the hero and civilian lineup for this set. I'd like to believe that the Bugle will mark the beginning of better comic Spider-Man sets. With the revamped bigfig design used by Thanos, there's essentially no reason now why they can't use that for Rhino, Kingpin, or even Venom (the new bigfig mold even has studs on the back that would be perfect for attaching symbiote tendrils) Considering the Modular-style attachment points on the Bugle, maybe we can get another D2C like Oscorp Tower, that could focus more on new villains. -

I definitely appreciate that they tried something different and unique with the arms, especially considering the figure itself is a repeat. Personally, I still think the arms from the Mech Battle set are still the best version overall. -

That's what I've been trying to figure out. I've looked through the past 10+ pages of this thread, and have looked all around Instagram, but I cannot find any leaker stating anything about Robbie Robertson not being in the set. I'm starting to think that all this talk about Robbie being deconfirmed is just the result of some confusion. At least I hope so. We'll know for sure soon enough. -

Assuming Miles is included in the set, which variant do you think is more likely to get: his standard costume variant from the 2019 Bike Rescue set or the hooded jacket variant from the mech set earlier this year? Either way, I also suspect that a civilian Miles could also be one of the unknown civilian figures. It would line up with Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy being included alongside Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen. -

Wait, when did Robbie get deconfirmed? I know Eddie Brock and Mary Jane were deconfirmed, but I don't recall Robbie being addressed. -

Huh, it does look like it. That would be a great easter egg if so, and a Spider-Man vehicle I wouldn't complain about getting for once. -

I'm assuming there should be a decent amount of space on the rooftop. In addition, the description specifically mentions a huge fire escape with small balconies. Also, the fact that a newsstand is included makes me think there might be some amount of area to stand figures outside the building. -

I've only seen it mentioned by Briqfoundation, who claims the information's from "a reliable source". I'd take that info with a grain of salt, because 25 minifigures seems like an unusually generous number for LEGO to include. -

It would be great if they included Stan Lee as a taxi driver, but they'll probably just have the taxi be driverless. The claims of the Bugle having 20-25 minifigures would be amazing if they're true, but I'm going to wait until we hear more from reliable sources before setting my expectations too high. With Doc Ock and Carnage confirmed, that's now six villains accounted for, and likely our Sinister Six lineup for the set. I would have preferred a civilian Gwen Stacy over another Spider-Gwen, but maybe we can still have both if we're lucky. -

Groot looks way better than the Infinity War version, with leg printing and a more accurate dark tan coloring. Now I can only hope they redo the adult Groot and both baby Groot variants in dark tan to maintain consistency. Quill looks great, probably my second favorite in the set behind Groot. No sign of a helmet, which is unfortunate. -
