Jurassic World 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

Getting more sets for this theme is a nice surprise. Hopefully some new dinosaurs will be featured.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter Wishlist

Thank you for the feedback! The pricing probably is a bit optimistic, though I'm going by the assumption that LEGO would scale down the locations to varying extents (without making them microscale, of course) to fit them into a variety of price points, rather than selling entire waves of $100+ sets.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

That's a very interesting catch. Hopefully these are a hint at what's to come next year, and not just minifigure designs made up for the book, though I suppose only time will tell at this point.

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

That Green Lantern Mighty Micros vehicle looks exactly like a MOC from this video from 2016. It almost certainly not an actual upcoming set because of that.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

At least 5 more sets for winter? That sounds promising! Hopefully it won't be too long before further details can be revealed.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

I was hoping for a minifigure scale set myself, as I'm not really interested in microscale, but at least I don't have to worry about saving up for a D2C set. The Ollivander minifigure by itself should be fairly easy for me to acquire.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

Wow! That Diagon Alley looks amazing even out of focus in the distance! I'm already dreading how much that will cost, seeing as (at least from the perspective it looks like it could be bigger than Assembly Square and could easily be comparable to Ninjago City in terms of piece count. I can identify Gringotts, Ollivanders, and Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, and I'm guessing that the small green shop is meant to be Flourish and Blotts, and that the red one is Quality Quidditch Supplies, though I'm not certain.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

The Target near me restocked the CMF wave, so I was finally able to get Voldemort and Trelawney, so now I have the complete series! Definitely a great lineup of characters and variants overall. At least in my area, the LEGO Harry Potter sets and CMF series alike have been selling incredibly well everywhere. Every Target, Walmart, and Barnes and Noble stocking the sets I've been to never have many of the sets left on the shelves, with little to no sign of the CMF bags remaining in most cases. The store employees I've spoken to across numerous locations have told me that they've had trouble keeping enough of the LEGO Harry Potter merchandise left on the shelves to meet demand. The promotional mini Hogwarts Express building event that the Barnes and Noble closest to me held was so packed with kids and their parents that I could barely move through the section of the store where the event was being held. Even the Harry Potter polybag set seems to be selling better than the other polybag sets at the Targets near me. Everything I've seen and heard suggests that the new LEGO Harry Potter line has overall been a massive hit that generated considerably more demand than any of the stores around me could have anticipated.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

I searched another Barnes and Noble, a Walmart, and two Targets and only found the CMF wave being sold at the last Target. (The Walmart I went to had a Harry Potter CMF standup display, but it was completely filled with the Unikitty series, with not even a single Harry Potter bag to be found ) I ended up with Newt Scamander, Queenie Goldstein, Credence Barebone, and a second Percival Graves. Now I just need Voldemort and Professor Trelawney and I'll have a complete set! Also, a possible Quidditch Lesson set? If true, I wonder what it would consist of. Hopefully it won't be long before more information regarding potential 2019 sets pops up.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

I went to another Barnes and Noble and Target, and bought 9 a total of new CMF bags between those two places. Unfortunately, Target put a limit of 5 bags per customer on the CMF wave. According to an employee, they had too much trouble keeping them in stock due to numerous people buying them in large quantities, and in one case, buying an entire box. Good to hear the series is selling so well, though inconvenient for me! I ended up with Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Cho Chang, Dobby, Mad-Eye Moody, Invisibility Cloak Harry, Albus Dumbledore, Tina Goldstein, and Jacob Kowalski. Just 5 more and I'll have a complete set!

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

Top 5 for me is: 5. Luna Lovegood (An overall great update on the character) 4. Professor Trelawney (MUCH better looking and easier to find than the previous one) 3. Michael Gambon Dumbledore (The new sloped robe piece, hat/hair combo, and beard piece all make this much better looking then the previous version) 2. Nearly Headless Nick (An amazing first take on a previously unmade character) 1. Mad-Eye Moody (Already a great update, but the alternate face and hairpiece are an excellent touch that make the figure even better) Honorable Mentions: Richard Harris Dumbledore, Hagrid, Young Hermione, Remus Lupin, and Invisibility Cloak Harry I also went to Barnes and Noble earlier and got a mini Hogwarts Express. Definitely a fun little build for what it is. While I was there, I bought the last two CMF bags they had left and got Hermione (with Crookshanks), and Professor Flitwick.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

I purchased a total of 6 CMF bags today. I found Percival Graves in the third to last bag in the left row of the box. I also got Year 3 Harry Potter, Luna Lovegood, Cedric Diggory, Quidditch Draco Malfoy, and Dean Thomas.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

The Batwing is one my my favorite sets from the line, personally. It works as both an impressive display piece and a very fun set to play around with. The parts selection is excellent. The build is great and is full of details that really add to the overall look of the vehicle. The only gripe I have with the set has is the rather sub-par minifigure selection for the pricepoint, but that's not a huge issue. At 50% off, I would definitely recommend getting it while you have the chance!

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

The sets all look great! The quality of the builds look well above average and look accurate to what was shown in the trailer. I question if $70 for the Sweet Mayhem's ship is accurate though. That seems like a somewhat high price considering the build size and small selection of minifigures. It still looks like an excellent set either way. I can't wait to see what else is in store for this theme!

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

Oof, it looks like Graves is going to be a pain to find. Getting a complete CMF set just got that much trickier, it seems.

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

My local Target finally got the new sets in stock, so I just bought the Aragog's Lair set, and it is definitely fun to play around with. The Aragog build is great, the tree build is decent, Harry and Ron look very accurate, and getting 5 spiders in such a small set is a very nice surprise. The only other thing I wish LEGO would've included in this set is Fang, but otherwise I'm very satisfied with this as my first Harry Potter set in 7 years. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more Harry Potter sets released at this price point if they do more waves.

Hmm, Target.com does list them as being in stock at that location. I'll have to check next time I go out there. Well, looks like I have a review to watch!

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

I did ask, but the employee I approached claimed there was none available. This wouldn't be the first time this particular Target suffered a delay in stocking new LEGO sets, though I was hoping there wouldn't be an issue this time.

I just went to my local Target, and found absolutely nothing! Not a single sign of any HP sets, not even empty spots on the shelves Maybe I'll have better luck next time...
