I just went to my local Target, and found absolutely nothing! Not a single sign of any HP sets, not even empty spots on the shelves Maybe I'll have better luck next time...

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
spiderfan2000 replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Assuming that the sets follow the pattern of the previous three movie lines, I'm predicting that there will be between 18-23 sets released across three waves, a D2C set, and a CMF series. I would be surprised if LEGO deviated from that pattern significantly at this point. It definitely looks like there will be a nice variety of characters and vehicles to include in sets and a CMF series just based off the teaser trailer alone. Interestingly, I also just noticed that the two "cyborgs" that appeared in the trailer are recolors of TLBM Mr. Freeze's Mech with different weapons and pilots. -
I'm quite impressed with the suitcase, and all the beasts included. Definitely better than I was expecting!

I just found the Dementor on Instagram. It uses the Specter tail, which is neat. Hopefully it's from the CMF series.

I saw Avengers: Infinity War in IMAX. I thought it was totally awesome! I wasn't sure how so many characters and plot points could be put into one movie without coming across as rushed, but I thought it was handled really well! Kudos to the Russo Brothers! -
The Ninjago City Docks set looks great, though I'm rather disappointed that there's no sign of the Fuchsia Ninja or the Narwhal Soldier.

Unikitty! 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

Heh, true. Trying to tell the figures in this series apart through the bags will certainly be more of a pain than with the previous few CMF lines, though. -

Hmm, the sets and figures look nice, but how is anyone supposed to tell apart those blindbag figures? -
Batwoman, OMAC, Ace, and the Talons will all be nice minifigures to have. Grundy would be an excellent and long overdue choice to include in a set. I just hope that LEGO would make him a bigfig. Copperhead would also be a great choice, though I wonder which version would be most likely for LEGO to make.

What was the last movie you watched?
spiderfan2000 replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I thought it was great! It took a lot of liberties from the original story, but I think it worked out quite well. I'm not sure the original story would have translated easily into a movie, so the changes were understandable to me. Of course, now I wish that LEGO would have made a few sets for it -

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
spiderfan2000 replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I do feel that LEGO did a great job with this line, and many of the important scenes from the movie were represented quite well in the sets. I don't personally believe that there was a single bad set in the theme, though some of them could have used a slightly lower price tag. If LEGO had decided to do more sets, I likely would have bought them if the quality stayed consistent, but I can see why they didn't. My only real regrets were that the Justice League lineup wasn't completed, and that the appearance of the Bat-Chopper in the book ultimately didn't amount to anything. At least I still have the Harley Quinn Cannonball Attack and the Bat-Space Shuttle left to get before I'm done collecting sets from this theme (As I am currently lacking both the funds and the extra space for Arkham Asylum and Joker Manor). -

[RUMOR] Bionicle might be returning in 2019
spiderfan2000 replied to TwistLaw's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I actually wouldn't be opposed to System Bionicle sets if they were like the Brickonicle project ones and not like the 05-07 sets. I was always a big fan of how the environments looked in the comics and movies and I was disappointed that the official System sets never really took full advantage of those designs. If those Brickonicle sets were real, I would very likely buy some of them, especially if the minifigure designs were ironed out a bit to better resemble the characters. -
Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

Rather disappointing that the Flash movie has no minifigure, but hopefully the new Green Lantern is a sign of things to come from the DC Super Heroes line. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
spiderfan2000 replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I finally got around to purchasing the Justice League Anniversary Party and after building it, I must say that it is a really fun little set, especially when you have the minifigures from CMF Series 2 and Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman and Green Lantern to fill it out. It's still disappointing that there is no Samurai, Gleek, or Classic Cyborg to complete the roster, but I'm still hoping that they'll be included in the DC Super Heroes line in the future. -
That sounds like a pretty good value, though I still hope the minifigure lineup included is revealed soon.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter Wishlist
spiderfan2000 replied to Falconfan1414's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'd like to see all the Horcruxes represented. They could release a set centered around each one like with the Infinity Stones in the Avengers Infinity War sets. Such sets could be: Tom Riddle's Diary: The Chamber of Secrets (Could include Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, Gilderoy Lockhart, Tom Riddle, Moaning Myrtle, and versions of the Basilisk and Fawkes different from the ones in the Great Hall) The Locket: The Cave (Could include Harry Potter, Dumbledore, and Inferi) or Minstry Escape (Could include disguised versions of Harry, Ron and Hermione, plus Umbridge and Yaxley) Nagini: Godric's Hollow (Could include Harry, Hermione, and Bathilda Bagshot) The Cup: Gringotts Breakout (Could include Harry, Ron, Hermione, Griphook, Bogrod, and the dragon) The Diadem: Room of Requirement Showdown (Could include Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Goyle, and Blaise Zabini, plus brick-built Fiendfyre creatures) Not sure where the Ring could be included, though.
