Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

YES please. I feel like Acclamator is the last "important" big ship missing. Other than a microscale in '22 Advent Calendar I don't recall it appearing anywhere else. It's such an iconic ship both from Episode II and the whole Clone Wars show. It was also used in the Imperial era. I doubt we'll see it as a UCS since we just got the UCS Venator, so a play-scale should be plausible. Either make it play-scale like the old Venator or as a midi-scale set like the current Executor but... just make it damn it! As for the figures I'd love to see a Navy Clone Officer (uniform and a hat), Navy Officer (non-clone), Obi-Wan Kenobi and 2-3 Clone Troopers (P1 variant from TCW).
  2. In general the new arctic/explorers wave is pretty interesting and surely nicely designed. The multitude of included animals is really a crowning jewel of this wave. I have however very mixed feelings about the "ratio" of arctic and underwater sets in this wave. We had an arctic AND seperate underwater waves back in 2020, so it's a nice refresh. Still, I feel that the "arctic" part is underepresented here with only 2 sets being stricly arctic - 60376 Arcitc Explorer Snowmobile and 60378 Arctic Explorer Truck and Mobile Lab. And even with the Arctic Explorer "Truck" it's not a truck. It's not even an expeditionary vehicle. It's a snow-plow - a service vehicle. It looks great, sure, but it misses the point in my opinion. The rest 3 sets are all underwater/water themed and they only share a color scheme with arctic sets: 60377 Explorer Diving Boat which has tropical looking seabed side-build with turtles and a shark. That's like completely opposite of arctic theme here. 60379 Deep-Sea Explorer Submarine once again a strictly underwater themed set with no hint of association with the arctic explorers. Also way overpriced IMO. Only the 60368 Arctic Explorer Ship bears some hints of "arctic" theme with some minifigs wearing warm caps and caps. So in the end only 2 out of 5 sets of the arctic wave are really arctic themed. I just wish for at least one normal wheeled "exploration vehicle" set in the arctic theme, something like 60035 or 60195. Do you guys feel the same about this wave?
  3. I'm all hyped for FF v T-I Mando S3 Spolier The only 3 things I'm really hoping we get to see are: Again Mando S3 Spolers below Still, I'm even more hyped for new Andor sets - we have yet to see Imperial Army Troopers, Dedra Meero and so on.
  4. Hello, my name is Artur! I must've left my manners somewhere behind the couch because apparently I forgot to introduce myself So two words about myself: I'm an engineering student and an outdoor enthusiast. LEGO has been my on and off hobby since I was 3. I had a couple of "dark age" breaks, with the last one ending just recently in april '22 due to my girlfriend buying me a City Lunar Rover set. Since then I almost doubled my collection (from 80 to 140 sets). I mostly collect and build City-related stuff (including modulars, other buildings and vehicles) and Star Wars things - mostly Imperial Era stuff (OT, Rebels, Rogue One, Andor, Mandalorian etc.). I look forward to engaging in even more discussions here!
  5. To be fair this is THE perfect wave for me and a small size is yet another good thing about it! (Can buy everything, not having to choose between sets). A new (old) TIE variant? Yes, please! "Normal" priced clone battlepack? Oh yeah! And a 10$ set with Boba Fett?! Damn is it awesome.
  6. I just found it yesterday in a newspaper/liquor store. So it is available in Poland at least since December 12th.
  7. Any idea when will this magazine be out? I just bought the large Imperial Light Cruiser set and would love to have a miniature of it!

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

Honestly I think we could swap the Stormtrooper for another Army Trooper. Also I'd love to see some sort of set based on the Imperial facility on Aldhani (maybe a gate) with Imperial Officers, Army Troopers and Aldhani rebels. Another one would be the ISB conference room with ISB Supervisor Dedra Meero, ISB Major Partagaz and one random ISB officer with two security personnel and a round table build. Also, since we once again saw Shoretroopers in Andor it would be awesome to get them back in Lego along with the K-2SO style droids.
  9. I'm actually very happy that we only have 3 "real" sets this January wave (not counting the brickheadz). I still have some sets left to buy from previous waves (TIE, AT-ST, Battlepacks and Imperial Shuttle). Honestly all 3 of the sets seem amazing to me! The Slave 1 microfighter is actually a real ship! It has a closed cockpit! Also getting a Boba Fett character in such a cheap set is awesome. The 501st battlepack is an immediate purchase for me. 4 clones and an actual, usable build of a canon! The price is high, but I think it is a great comeback, to the old battlepacks era. The TIE Bomber looks promising with a nice minifig selection, but as others pointed out the windshield seems too small when compared with last TIE Fighter or TIE Advanced sets. Still, for me it's a long awaited model that I'll happily pick up as soon as I can.

Lego City 2023 Leaks, Rumours, Speculation And Discussion

4+ sets are supposed to be like Duplo sets but compatible to normal LEGO bricks and minifgs. Their simplicity is intentional. Price changes are due to inflation. It's not LEGO's fault here. But still it is sad and annoying that out beloved toys are getting even more expensive. The shift of focus to vehicles shouldn't be surprising. Kids love things that can be played around with - cars, trucks, planes, boats, helicopters, spaceships etc. LEGO Friends are more focused on buildings, think of them like doll-houses.

What is wrong with these sets in your opinion? Other than 4+ sets they all are well thought-out and nicely design. The Police Dog and Police Academy sets nicely fit with 2022 Police HQ (it has a tiny dog training-course in front of the guard post) and can serve as a gate to the police academy. Emergency HQ gives us an excellent way of including all 3 emergency services into a really small city. Just add the smaller fire truck and you're good to go! The big firetruck has a ton of play features (which kids love) on top of a great design resembling Mercedes-Benz Unimog trucks. It is also a mothership for a 2 smaller "drone" builds. The fire boat is perfectly sized and has a BLACK hull. So it can be rebuild into every other possible ship (unlike older red boat hulls). We've also got a back-hoe loader and a garbage truck which were long overdue. And seriously, are you really blaming LEGO for inflation?

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

The City sets have just been revealed, so I'd expect to see new Icons sets in under a week.

Lego City 2023 Leaks, Rumours, Speculation And Discussion

The new back-hoe loader is great! Finally a non-4+ construction vehicle set! The garbage truck looks exactly like the Mercedes-Benz ones from my city (other than the color-scheme). Also I'll certainly be getting all of the new fire sets! The fire truck seems a bit too long, but that should be an easy fix to shorten it by 2-4 studs. But the fire boat is PERFECT! I only wish it had printed parts instead of stickers. ATV and Otter Habitat is so cute it melts my heart! Police sets... The dog-training truck looks awesome and a new puppy mold is a super addition! The emergency HQ has great vehicles but I wish the police SUV included the "police" text written on it somewhere . The academy looks good, but I wish it had a more direct connection to this years police station (like it was rumoured). Thankfully at least the color-scheme is matching. And the motorcycle chase seems ok for it's price point. Oh, and the new small sports car looks so dope!

    REVIEW: 60345 Farmers Market Van

That is pretty scary. LEGO is already very expensive and seeing them trying to raise the price even more is terrifying. They actually already increased the prices here (Poland) around the end of 2021 by about 20-30%.
