Kings Port Advertiser and Ship List (Vol. 5, Issue 4)
Roadmonkeytj replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Those spud shooters are proving effective ... Admiral Larvey will be in touch ... -
Thanks I built it to be compatible with the brick warriors part as I wanted a functional repeating scene ... It never worked out but the design of the static model was good lol

When I put a L motor in the EN I found the spacing was not ideal. I found the motor would torque and over come the clutch or the bricks. Your motor mounts need reinforcement so that the who structure is stable .. otherwise it will come apart and bind. The other issue I ran into was there was not an perfect mesh solution with the gears/space available. I had to sandwich two bevel gears around a straight gear to get the proper height I needed. I have had no issues with this set up at all dispite the nay sayers telling me it will never work ... I've not tore the engine down the last four years of shows and it still works.

To answer the question about sizing there are reference pics on zephyrs website. Normally you can build placeholders with technic bits then go to the site to order the right rods. If you order one of his "kits" and you have any issues what do ever reach out because he will work through the problem with you!

The giraffe interjection was quite humerous ... All in all it was a good build with good photo angles ... I might recommend making walls removable or on hinges for unobstructed photoing as the "hall" photo looking into the archways is blurry at the foreground.

Very much so one even found it's way to Charlatan Bay! @Khorne The build was perfect the rundown look of not just the walls but the figs! The posters as always put it over the top ... The story was well thought and pulled you into the scene without being too drawn out. Vive la République!

I love it ... Look forward to an update when you get it built ... I'm hoping it works ! -
Not sure if you can do this with MAC but it's possible with windows ... Use a bigger thumb drive and you can install apps on the drive as well. https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-run-windows-10-from-a-usb-drive Used to do this with XP so I didn't have to carry two laptops ... Just booted my personal system on the company laptop when traveling. Since it wasn't a remote log they had no log of what I was doing.

There fixed that for you, there was a clerical error. -
If using LDD, blue render or povray can be downloaded to give some nice looking renders. From what I can tell the design looks promising as long as you don't have wheel rub!

Love the way you did the loose wedge's to look like fresh turned sand in the dig! -
There are several listings for $10 so you even buy three and only be $5 out of pocket? As far as the prizes I believe they are trying to source "local" prizes as international shipping can be delayed 2 months right now.
