    [MOCs] Randall and Mudd

LORD OVERDEATH's servants Randall and Mudd. They'd do anything he says. After all, what other choice do they have... Calm, collected, and intelligent. None of these words could describe Randall. The self-titled Technociraptor loves only destruction and LORD OVERDEATH. Despite LORD OVERDEATH's hatred for Randall, he keeps him around. It's difficult to find someone so eager and willing to serve in the world of BEDLAM... LORD OVERDEATH's favored servant, Baron Mudd has been given the high honor of carrying LORD OVERDEATH's banner, much to Randall's envy. Mudd's hatred for LORD OVERDEATH is trumped only by his hatred for Randall. Despite his great skill with weapons, he dares not escape, for he knows that greater dangers lie in the world of BEDLAM... Like LORD OVERDEATH, Randall and Mudd are collaborative creations between myself and my friend Neal, though he had a much larger role in creating these two than I. Mudd was made first as a character for his upcoming comic, BEDLAM, and Randall was first sketched at this year's BFVA. I've posted the sketches of them in the album, so you can see how many artistic liberties I took with them. Consider none of the flavor text I've written to be canon in BEDLAM.

    [MOC] LORD OVERDEATH

This is a MOC that I've been working on since October 2020, but the character dates back to January 2020. I was having a conversation with a friend about the villain in F-Zero GX (named Lord Deathborn) and he misremembered the name as Lord Overdeath. I decided I had to build Lord Overdeath immediately. I compiled a list of ideas and reference pics and asked my friend Neal D Anderson (who did the artwork for BioCup 2020) to whip up a sketch of the character (link below) Mood board and reference pic My goal was to create a character that a 12 year old would think is the most amazing thing they've ever seen but an adult would only roll their eyes at. Everyone involved in the creation of the MOC had the time of their life with this character and I hope that shows. I'm very satisfied with the results and I'm really excited to show off what may be my best work to date. More photos
  3. The Kalashnikov Cyber Monkey is an intelligent, fast, and angry ape ready to shoot some Democratic heretics. When caught, it will release the Nuclear dose on it's back, giving its life to its dear Soviet comrades… This is my own version of a MOC of the same name made by Radrix The Spidermonkey head and Nepol torso combination was super appealing to me and I thought it'd be fun to try it out myself with some of my own touches. Special thanks to Grayson M for letting me borrow the Galidor pieces I needed to complete this MOC. Hope you all like it! More photos

    [MOC] Gharmeleon

a one-day tablescrap. I've been wanting to use those weird HF head parts for a segmented build for a while now and I figured I'd experiment with it today. It was also a fun experiment with color and those weird shadow matoran torsos. It's not my best moc but I liked it enough to post it. Hopefully you all like it as well!

    [MOC] Kongu, Toa Typhoon

Two Hands... More Photos Built for BignicleCup2019 on twitter, this is a remake of Kongu Mahri stylized after Monev the Gale from the manga and anime Trigun. This MOC took a lot of time, money, and input from friends. While I feel like I could've done better, it feels nice to get it finished. It also felt nice to make a Toa again. And yes, the Cordak Blaster gauntlets do actually fire.

    [MOC] Kongu, Toa Typhoon

Thank you! I wouldn't call the original set lackluster per se. It has a bit more going on than the traditional Inika-build sets of the time and has a distinct look to it. Though all of the Toa Mahri pale in comparison to Hahli's massive wings and wicked claws imo Thanks! I didn't know it had been featured anywhere so I'll definitely have to check it out. Glad you like it! I'm really happy that you all mentioned the gears. I struggled to fill in that big gap for a while. When I realized that gears are a staple part of the early sets designs I immediately tried them. They're probably my favorite part of the whole MOC tbh

    [MOC] Kongu, Toa Typhoon

Thanks! I feel like I could've done a bit better with the color but I'm glad that you like it. Thanks, guys! The blasters are a big part of Kongu's silhouette so I tried to keep that in the remake. Indeed. Thanks guys!

    [MOC] Aquagon Prime

The Aquagon set has such a cool head mold, but I think the rest of the set is really disappointing. Surprisingly, Aquagon is one hero factory set that I haven't seen a remake of. I hope that I did it justice. More Photos This MOC was built using the Kanaishi frame. Building it was a challenge but I like the results. I'm definitely going to be building more bignics in the future.
  9. Legends say that on some extra spooky Halloween nights in a small town near you that you can hear the thunderous motor of Killbilly's Monstercycle and Pumpkin Joe's Off-roader trucking down the interstate (and through the occasional cornfield). Nobody knows where they came from. Some say they came right from the depths of Tartarus. Others say they live in Pennsylvania. A MOC that I built for a local Lego contest. I won, but it's hard to lose when you're the only competitor in your age bracket. This was a lot of fun to build. I finally got to put a lot of those minifig base tiles to use and I think it turned out pretty nice. So it's not exactly the story that you're probably thinking of. I wasn't sure which theme this belongs in since it's a bit too fantastical for City but it's too grounded in the modern-day for sci-fi or fantasy. If this belongs somewhere else just let m know and I can take care of it.

    [MOC] Metal Gear Mk. II

A remote mobile terminal designed to provide soldiers with operational support. More Info As seen in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. A slight color palette change for convenience. A quick little build. Not great, but one that I'm pleased with nonetheless.

    [MOC] Sound and Vision

And I will sing, waiting for the gift of sound and vision... Special thanks to Sergei Rahkmaninoff and his incredible use of the Crystal Hau (which you can see here) for inspiration and Modalt Masks for the wonderful paint job on the Pakari.

    [MOC] the open backed dress

Even if the MOC was inspired by the spinner, I think the car hood stands out most to me. Very seamless execution all around!

    [MOC] FIDO

Mechanical pet of Leroy. Loyal to the end... Together I don't think it takes a genius to see that this was inspired by Spot Mini by BostonDynamics. It's practically a ripoff...

    [MOC] Einzelgänger Magnum

Experimental prototype SMG. Possesses state-of-the-art AI systems. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances led to the AI integrating itself to a police drone, giving itself full autonomy. Retrieving the unit will be... difficult to say the least. more photos Heavily inspired by this piece of concept art.
