That looks great! On the grey line would I cut on/outside/inside?

Thank you sooooo much for doing this, I think the kids are going to love it. My husband says that I am insane for doing it, but agrees that they are all going to love it. =)

You should cut on the inside margin of the line. I'm glad I could help you with this project.

What program or how do i change the decal from colored to transparent?

I used Photoshop CS2 (the only image manipulation software I have on my notebook at the moment) to replace the background colour with pure white (which most printers do not actually print, assuming that will be the paper's colour), but I'm sure there are others around, even freeware which can do the trick.

  2. Thanks all for the kind comments.

Indeed, I tried to stay as close to the game design as I was able to. I'm glad I succeeded.

The laser beam looks gorgeous!

Thanks. The physical build is quite simple, actually, and I did have fun with adding the effect in Photoshop, too.

  4. Once again, our heroine Chell finds herself facing the challenges of Aperture Science Enrichment Center.

This time, she's trying to get through Test Chamber 0XX, while Wheatley checks on her progress, unbeknownst to GLaDOS.

This was mostly a test for me to try and build some of the testing gear in minifig scale; as this is just a portion of the test chamber, do not try too hard to understand how Chell should solve it with just the mechanisms shown here.

Firstly, the new update makes 93% of posts on here look like website coding rather than decals and such

The site is still re-building the database and coding. It could take a few more days to have thing back to normal. Please be patient. :classic:

  6. Does someone know where I can get good, detailed Lord of the Rings (gondor white tree) body and cape decals? Or can someone make it?

Have you tried checking the Licensed Decals Index, and specifically the LOTR section? Even if the number of decals is pretty limited, there are torsos sporting the Gondor white tree, albeit no capes.

    Hope this helps you.
