  1. Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

We already knew the other two sets (car/willow and spider scene) were from the first few films so it wasn't that big of a leap. Given what we know so far, the wave might just be focused on first two books [edit: AnnaBuildsLego beat me to it].
  2. Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

I don't believe them anymore. The leaks got a few things right about the Great Hall, but also made some completely wrong claims about it including Voldermort, Dementors, and Filch. Also, why would Nick be in both the Hall and the CMF?
  3. LEGO Ninjago 2018

Ninjago City's price-to-piece ratio was great but it wasn't really much different then the other non-licensed D2C sets released last year. It just had a lot more minifigures.
  4. LEGO Ninjago 2018

Unless I'm forgetting something, that makes it the most expensive non-D2C set ever followed by the Solo Falcon which is around $180. I just don't get LEGO's intent behind this set at all. Its way too expensive for kids or parents to even consider (almost 2× any other big set on the shelf) and on top of that is from a year-old movie that didn't actually do very well. On the plus side, clearance!
  5. LEGO Ninjago 2018

So we're looking at an Assembly Square price range? Damn, I really want to like this set but I can't get behind that price no matter how nice the other side looks.
  6. LEGO Ninjago 2018

Ok, so apparently we're actually looking at the back of the set (when connected to NC). The brown dock should continue the one in NC behind the robot house and the blue building should be right next to the comic store. I expect that the other side will be much nicer looking from a display POV. We're looking at the equivalent of the inside of Joker Manor or Disney Castle right now.
  7. LEGO Ninjago 2018

I looks more like the mainline Ninjago buildings then the level of detail in Ninjago City. It makes for a decent expansion, but it's pretty disappointing if it ends up being over $200.
  8. LEGO Ninjago 2018

I'm a little disappointed that the docks won't be a true modular but that also lets them go crazy with cool builds that wouldn't fit in the normal modular line. It could also just end up being two main sections that can connect or be attached to either side of the city. I expect to see the remaining three ninjas, but not having seen the movie I don't know if there are any new outfits they could be given.
  9. Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

They could still include a smaller version of the hall in Hogwarts. They released a stand-alone set depicting Saruman's throne room and then also included it in Orthanc a few months later.
  10. Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

I don't expect Riddle in the CMF series since they included his diary with Myrtle. He could be in Hogwarts if they include the CoS though. I would expect to see one of the first three DAtDA teachers in Hogwarts (most likely Quarrel since they'll want a bad guy and probably won't include Voldermort again) and the other two in the CMF series.
  11. LEGO Minifigures licensed series - What's next?

The Lego Movie Sequel will probably be after Harry Potter but there is no actual information yet.
  12. Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

Filch is supposed to be in the hall, so I doubt they'd put him in another set this wave.
  13. Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

Hagrid's size shouldn't be a deal breaker either since he wouldn't take up any more space then Batman and the dolphin from the newest series.
  14. The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

The theme is almost certainly finished. We know almost all of the 2018 releases at this point (including the comic based Batman sets) and I would be extremely surprised to see Lego revisit a two year old movie next winter.
  15. Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors and Discussion

Good to hear that there are still quite a few unrevealed CMF. They should be able to cover the first three books/movies pretty well.
