[pid][/pid] 241C Dear Mateys, I'd like to show this little creation to you guys. It's called "Mother Nature", a statue of a mother taking care of her Baby... The birds symbolize the Kahukan way of living with nature ^^ Enjoy!

Dear Mateys, It has been a while since I posted any MOCs on Classic-pirates. Alot happened in the past months and thats why I had to pay my attention on other stuff. Last week I found my little "Bjornu" minifigure at the attic, I felt a little tear dropping. From all the good times I had here on the forums, that little minifig made me happy again after so much struggles. Tough this time I have to return without my number one supporter and fan. In these months my girlfriend left for good and well, with that alot of other stuff happened after... Well, that day at the attic made me realise I still have a lot of supporters left here at Classic-pirates.com. I'm returning with full sails to check the forums again. And for all of you guys, I'd like to thank all of you for the warm feelings that you guys gave me back in the days. I still appreciate it so much that you guys supported me with building these great MOC's. Good to see you guys again ! Greetz Bjornu

Lovely build! Everything is in the right proportions !
-
Good to see some Islander MOC's ! The baseplate fits really well in this scenery

Great usage of the Red hull! I like the color scheme on this vessel Greetz Bjornu

I tried to make a 3deck ship once but it looked too bulky so I stopped the whole project. If you go for 3 decks make sure the sides looks round " ) " and not straight " | " A Straight side make the ship look like some large box with cannons sticking out I hope my tip was usefull ;) greetz Bjornu

TLC should do a Pirate/Adventures line, good idea They should take this MOC as an Example! Greetz Bjornu

I really like the hole where the rope goes trough! + the Eye decoration in the back is definately a great one! Greetz Bjornu

Lovely Lighthouse! Altough the Balcony supports look a bit weird under there. I would have gone for a square look instead of the rounded part greetz Bjornu

Great colorsheme you used! Well done. Greetz Bjornu

Definately a good start. How about 3 guns in the middle one in the back or maybe 2 but with some room between them. You could also place the window of the stern a bit more towards the back and create some space for the gunport I stated above. ;) Good luck with the ship! Greetz Bjornu

Lovely ketch Horry! Wich side is it going to bomb ? I hope you're not going to bomb Kahuka's villages! Greetz Bjornu

[pid][/pid]221D Well hello everyone, Back from a little break I came back with a small Islander MOC After I saw Mariko's hut and statue I decided I wanted to build something similar. In mind I kept the idea Islanders just stack stones and wood and cover it up with leaves. I didn't use SNOT techniques but neither I stacked them right on each other. Well then a little story about the Hovel: King kahuka came up with a hunt to find a match for his daugther. Kahuka launched a hunt, the man that comes back with the largest Eatable animal would win the hand of his daugther. Here a small picture of some hunters coming back from the hunt, too bad with Nearly empty hands.... (Notice the Axe King kahuka has, the blade is made of Solid magma) I hope you guys like this little Hovel. Greetz Bjornu

What a beautiful picture! I really like this scenery. Perhaps a redcoat/bluecoat smith MOC or vignette in the future ?

Haha looks great! A very familiar design, I used this too a while ago. And with that comes my tip: I used a small Fake tealight that simulates the flames because it flickers. It will look even more realistic when you use those! In addition, these tealights are very small and thus very easy to work with in small mocs. let me show you a Pic of the thing: Greetz Bjornu

Lovely MOC, I stil have that Playmobil set , my nieces love to play with it. Maybe i should make a similar MOC to have them get to play with legoes again. Because then they can modify it! Thanks for the post! Greetz Bjornu

Dear Pirates, I'm here today to share my first land based MOC with the Eastern Pirates. AS you know they recently have sailed toward the Lego-Caribbeans to explore the "New world". They haven't seen any red or blue coat yet, but because they are in foreign lands they established a camp near the shores to stay close to the Junks. The first Samurai lord already has set up his special tent! Watch all the ongoing scenes in the camp, while the one is searching for wood for the campfire the other is working in the quarry to make bricks for the camp walls. I added a electric candle light into the campfire scene to make it look like a real campfire. I advice you watch the Youtube video I included in the post to see the scene at the end of the video where you're able to see the campfire light flickering Also the samurai lord is provided with short Pneumatic Lego tube-arms to be able to hold his sword with two hands! Well, In overal I hope you will enjoy the scenes! The camp at daylight: The Quarry The Lord's Tent + The lord doing some Wake up Stances The Lord's tent even has a cool Interior ! The camp at night, while the Lord is enjoying a cup of Sake with his men! And ofcourse a Video of all the details of the Camp: Skip to 1:40 to see a video of the Campfire working! I hope you enjoyed this MOC! Don't Hesitate to comment !! Greetz Bjornu

Dear members, I would like to ask for your suggestions and ideas. Recently I posted my first Eastern Pirate MOC the Pirate Junk Because I want to do some more MOCs with this theme,I'm asking you guys to post some ideas or suggestions in this thread. (if you have any ideas ) Some Information about the pirates: -The Eastern Pirates come from all over Lego-Asia (don't want one specific country) -They use both Flintlock and Matchlock rifles, more Matchlock instead of Flintlock. (due to traditions) -They used many technologies to build seagoing vessels that are able to reach both red and blue- coat territories. -The Eastern pirates, are labeled as pirates because they are hostile against: European pirates, red coats and blue coats. -They are loyal to one "Samurai lord" but can be part as a group under the command of one higher rank "Samurai lord" -They use captured European cannons and "homemade" Eastern Cannons/Mortars ( can also be seen in this post -They use materials from their home country and materials from the country where they are at that moment ( so they are able to use Bamboo but also Palmtree ) My preferences about the theme: -Specializing on the Rifle Infantry/Pirates more than fancy Katana ninja's or heavy armored samurai armies. -Ninja's will appear in my MOCs but only as Assassins or special scout/guards -I want to create: Land MOCS, Sea MOCS, A combination between the previous points and maybe some Vignettes. EDIT: I don't have any Blue Samurai theme minifigs, So only the red ones will appear! ( It's good Sebeus reminded me of this!) If you got any suggestions or Ideas? Please don't hesitate to comment! I Thank everyone for reading the post and dropping a comment Greetz Bjornu

[pid][/pid] 132C Dear Pirates, I´m here to present you my classic-styled pirate ship The Amelie. After I browsed trough the online manuals of all Classic pirate ships I decided to create One that would go with the classic style. So I skipped tiling the whole deck and focused more on simplicity and functionality I present you the Pirate vessel: The Amelie I added a little feature in the back of the ship, the what I call "Wench Bench" can be opened to reveal a pistol or even a treasure! I hope you liked her! Comments are welcome! Greetz Bjornu

That's totally why I introduced them, I hope someone will come along and make these Eastern MOC's too. Maybe something for you?

[pid][/pid] 4A Dear members, Actually I was building on my Eastern Pirate MOC but then I came across Kurigan's Custom Swivel post. After watching his design I came up with a Swivel that's able to move up and down and looks pretty Decent IMO. Too bad there is only one piece that's off the color scheme but painting it black would do! Here he is: The Bucket-swivel Feel free to use this design but a proper credit would be great! [pid][/pid] 131C Dear members, I have been looking at pirate sets to get some inspiration for the Eastern Pirate Theme. When I looked trough my collection of lego manuals I found the manual of King Kahuka's Throne. Then I saw this smaller pirate Row/Sail-boat and thought it would be fun to make an Eastern Pirate variant. I had a couple of these Ninja-glider wings and thought I could make a cool Eastern looking bamboo sail with three of these glider wings. So I'm here to present you: The Eastern style Pirate Row/Sail-boat Inspired by the old lego pirate set : Comments are welcome ofcourse! Greetz Bjornu
